The staff was eager to help us any way they could. They even obtained tickets to a football game for us after we heard it was sold out. The rooms were spotless, the towels were luxuriously thick, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We WILL be back!

I wish we could have had a regular top sheet and light blanket on our bed instead of a down quilt ( at the beginning of September!) -- just too hot for that time of year.

Centrally located, luxury boutique hotel with excellent facilities. Housekeeping was fantastic. The rooms were spotless and always well stocked. Upgraded to a room which allowed us access to the Club Lounge. Lounge was a wonderful place to relax, unwind and grab a snack. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Good location. Convenient to tube wherever you want to go. Starbucks acrooss.Restaurants and fastfoods nearby. Good service. Hotel staff were excellent. Very polite, courteous and helpful.

Minor Issue at reception with breakfast not being delivered because the breakfast card was not picked up from the door, which I did not mind.

Very stylish, "hip" hotel in business district nearby the Farrigdon Tube station. Nice bar and restaurant, very comfortable. Not a particularly attractive neighborhood, but within walking distance of several good restaurants, pubs and shopping.

The bed in our "Deluxe" room on the 3rd floor corner, was a bit "saggy". I kept rolling into the middle. I think it's time for them to upgrade the beds.

The hotel is faurly near to kings cross and other surrounding convenient shops, buses and tube that are near to it. Its about a ten to 15 minute walk away, ehich for most people will be ok. Easy walk to get there. (I guess for those with mobility issues this may be a slight issue - if you have problems you may want to choose another one right next to Kings Cross.) Staff were friendly and helpful, restaurant clean. The downstairs customer toilets are in the basement and severely aged, weirdly there were flies everywhere there too but you only need to use those toilets if you haven't checked in yet and desperately need the loo, so not too much an issue. The rooms are dated, this is an old hotel that has not been updated, artex walls and wooden desks but nothing wrong with that. My room, 230 was clean and tidy. Bathroom was nice. All rooms here have a bath and a showerhead too. Clean towels. It was all old fashioned looking but not worn out. Lovely square behind the hotel with a playground and basketball court if you wish to relax. Cheap value stay with basic conveniences but it is not the most peaceful for sleeping at all.

The room was hot because you are entirely unable to open the windows, an old plastic alarmed cable limits the opening of them so you could not even open them a crack for fresh air. At least it did in my room. All hotel room windows are normally alarmed but these were ridiculously restricted. The plug sockets were also on the opposite end of tge room to thge bed. A fan was provided but was not very effective due to not being able to stretch it far enough to reach the bed. The worst problem as you may expect was traffic noise. This severely ruined my stay. The back of the hotel i noticed however, backs on to a lovely square called Granville Square. This was a peaceful haven, and the back rooms benefitted from this. Ask for a back room and try to check in early if possible, however there are a limited number of back ones. Also, luggage is only stored in the back office. You may struggle if you arrive after 1 to store your luggage there because there isnbt much room

General feel of the hotel and friendly staff

It was good however there were two things that were a bit of an issue. The bathtub was quite a high way up from the floor so it was difficult/slippery getting in and out. Particularly for an elderly person. The sink also came out quite far from the mirror so it was difficult shilst shaving for one of the staff members that stayed in the hotel. Other than thaose things, the hotel was sufficient. Thank you.

Being told I had not reserved a place when I arrived. It turned out that because I had booked on line, the booking had gone through to a central office that had not told the hotel. Fortunately, they had a room that was empty and ready.

Beautiful facility. Clean, modern and spacious room. Outstanding, friendly staff. Quiet and comfortabl bed. Both restaurants were fantastic--excellent food, really top notch.

The room was very clean and spacious. The doormen were friendly and helpful.

I had flowers delivered to me at the hotel and these were turned away at reception with the reason being that I wasn't staying at the hotel which was incorrect. I left my key and a note at reception for my son to collect and leave his luggage in my room, reception said that I had not done this and did not have a key for him. During my 12 nights there a card was sent to me which I never received.

Excellent location for purpose of our stay. Very nice room and the bed was very comfortable.

Poor breakfast service. Waited half an hour. Food not very hot. Our first breakfast on the Frdiay (26th) had to be returned because of a hair in the cooked food! Overall not a good breakfast experience at all.

Liked the location and the free latte in the lobby. Room was okay. Small but we'll organised and big enough for two.

Window was overlooked by an office so had to keep the curtains closed. Bathroom was tiny and the shower was grimy - could do with a refresh.

The room was small but functional. The concierge service and front desk were excellent, prompt and courteous and very, very helpful. Maid service was timely and appropriate. Breakfast buffet was excellent and filled with numerous choices and always very fresh. Dinner menu was limited but all choices were appetizing and enjoyed.

The wifi service was hard to sign on, if you had good virus protection and was OPEN and therefore not secure. However, the hotel staff helped me a great deal in learning the necessary technique to sign on, and helped me several times with it thereafter. I would have preferred a password protected and secure wifi service which surprisingly was available at several local restaurants.
