Pros: The Leela hotel made us feel welcome from the time the opened our car door, to the time of checkout. The Leela means friendly service. All the people we met at the Leela, sincerely wanted to help us, and make our stay very comfortable.
As is usual with our family vacations, we chose to stay on the Club Level of the Leela. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Late Night Cordials were presented flawlessly.
We will defiantly stay at the Leela upon our next trip to Delhi.
Cons: We liked everything about the Leela.
The Leela Palace New Delhi is in the diplomatic quarter, surrounded by grand embassies and consulates, and lies just a short stroll from major attractions in Delhi. Guests are a 10-minute drive from India Gate and Central Secretariat, and 20 minutes from Red Fort. The historic Nehru Memorial Museum is a 15-minute walk from the hotel.
Pros: (1) Good ambience
(2) Good security
(3) Good staff service and hospitality
(4) decent restaurants inside the hotel
Cons: (1) Charged for pickup from airport!
(2) Pool is not temperature controlled (water was uncomfortably warm)
(3) There was constant construction noise
(4) The AC broke down and we had to change rooms
there were more stuff which was not upto standard as well including breakfast, jacuzzi
Pros: Staff most helpfula nd friendly. They were ncie and prompt too. Care for security. Lobed the food int he restuarnat/cafe.
Cons: The banging I could hear during the evening and night. Not very loud but always constant. It sounded like somebody was moving furniture a couple of levels up. It might have been some occasional refurbishing.
Taj Palace Hotel is set among 6 acres of manicured grounds, offering guests a calm oasis in the heart of New Delhi. It's a 5-minute taxi ride to the tomb of Safdarjung, and 15 minutes to Central Secretariat and Delhi Gate.
no amenities for the car drivers/chauffeurs
Pros: clean, luxurious. Breakfast was second to none.
Cons: on the pricey side but the cost is not a surprise.
Pros: Check in staff was friendly. Amenities in the room were top notch. Restaurant for dinner had excellent choices. Best grill restaurant in Delhi and excellent wine selection too.
Cons: Lady at the coutesy area was absolutely rude and obnoxious on the day I checked in. Breakfast quality was one star with lousy quality orange juice for a luxury collection property. Smoked salmon was of the worst possible quality

Kaya Kalp, the Spa is a haven of unparalleled peace and indulgence. Cons: A bit dated, but good service. Omelette in the Club lounge was terrific but staff was stretched too thin. Our main issue is that the hotel needs a major update, even though existing old facilities still are well maintained and retain charm. The service was very good. Its still a race between the Taj and the Leela Palace, but the the Leela feels more up to date.
Pros: Stuff is highly professional, breakfast was gorgeous! Bravo!
Cons: A little bit tired bathroom

Pros: We toured northern India extensively. During the middle of the trip, we needed a hotel close to DEL for an early morning flight. Since the kids were young, we always stay on the Club floor of hotels such as the JW Marriott. We did so again this time. Club floors bring the ease with a family of 4, to eat when you need to, in a very nice atmosphere. Also when booking your room with the Club, we received free aiport transportation to our flight at DEL. India and SE Asia is not like the US where hotels have free airport shuttle service. These arrangements have to be made in advance. Other opinion in Delhi is to use a taxi or uber.
My 24 year old son was extremely pleased with the ammenities. Nice pool on the second floor. Great cocktails in the Club. And the architecture of the hotel was very well done. My 21 year old daughter, liked all the room amenities such as the hair dryer, 120v outlets (American style).
The Marriott 5th floor manager was always available to assist our needs. Very attentive and welcoming.
When staying by DEL, we would highly recommend the JW Marriott.
Cons: We liked everything.

Pros: The room was very clean and well appointed. Staff are extremely friendly. They are on the whole quite junior and sometimes seem to be feeling their way around their jobs, but their effort at being helpful and polite is always apparent.
Pros: Beautiful hotel and large comfortable rooms and executive lounge was a bonus. Beautiful views over trees and India Gate.
Cons: The service at the front desk was a bit haphazard.
Pros: We cannot say enough positive things about our stay at the Shangri-La in Delhi. The staff was so kind through and through. In particular the bellhop Robert was crucially helpful to us when we were working through logistics to get a lot of luggage on our airplane. He also referred us to Jassray, their Airport Manager, who helped us a great deal in getting our luggage through. Their concierge also helped us track package deliveries, even before we had checked in. Everyone on the staff was so kind and the service was first class, as well as the amenities in the hotel. We are only going to stay in Shangri-Las after this experience!
This hotel is in New Delhi’s Government District, a half-mile (650 meters) from India Gate and 0.9 miles (1.4 kilometers) from Jantar Mantar. The National Museum and the Parliament of India are 1.2 miles (2 kilometers) away. Connaught Place is 1.6 miles (2.5 kilometers) away.
Shangri-La's Eros Hotel has 3 onsite restaurants, a coffee shop/cafe, 1 bar, and 24-hour room service. Dining options include an Italian restaurant and a tea lounge. The hotel has a hair salon, outdoor swimming pool, 24-hour fitness facilities, and a full-service spa offering massages, body wraps, a sauna, and steam room. A business center is on site, and the hotel offers conference space, computer rental, a technology helpdesk, and high-speed Internet access (surcharge). The hotel has a concierge desk and offers currency exchange, complimentary newspapers, and a gift shop. Airport shuttle service is available (surcharge).
Accommodations at Shangri-La's Eros Hotel provide minibars, coffee/tea makers, and in-room safes. TVs come with satellite channels and DVD players. Internet access is complimentary. Sitting and sleeping areas are separate. Bathrooms have hair dryers, scales, bathrobes and slippers, and separate bathtubs and showers. A turndown service is performed daily, and newspapers and bottled water are complimentary. Rollaway beds are available on request for a surcharge.
Pros: Size of the room, bed linens, swimming pool.
Cons: Windows open to a hallway so the rooms are very dark. Food and drinks at the restaurant are overpriced by a factor of two, at least, and the food is nothing special.
Pros: Staff were excellent and friendly, great breakfast buffet, intimate hotel, lovely cool and deep pool. Very secure. Right next to the metro so quick to get to centre of the city
Cons: Nothing, if I was really picky you might say the rooms are slightly dated and the drinks moderately expensive.
Placing you within a 15-minute drive of Red Fort and Raj Ghat, Maidens Hotel, Delhi offers an airport shuttle (available 24 hours) for INR 1428.30 per vehicle. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool or grab a bite to eat at The Garden Terrace, which is one of 2 restaurants and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A bar/lounge and a fitness center are offered, and rooms at this upscale hotel get the details right with premium bedding and slippers.
Cons: Even though there is a lot of variety for the breakfast buffet. The items need to be changed every day. After day 2 we got tired of the same food choices.
Pros: Reception service, breakfast but very crowded hotel ambience is very good
Cons: They promise to send fruits but did not sent
Pros: We are non-smokers and we were given a smoking room first (I did not mention while booking). They quickly changed the room to a non-smoking room after we asked for it. It was very quick and easy process.
Hotel was very clean and comfortable. They bring bottled water at least twice a day, which was great.
Cons: After our check out, we asked for a taxi with a meter to take us to New Delhi train station. We got on the taxi and left the hotel. Then we realized that the driver did not start the meter. We asked him to open it but driver made excuses like it is not working, we don't need it, etc. And he took 300 rupee for 10 min. drive. We were very clear on that we wanted a taxi with meter, and the taxi driver that the hotel is working with was not willing to use it. What we expect from a 5 star hotel is trust. I should be able to trust the services they provide and this includes the people they work with. What happened is something normal in Delhi but I was disappointed because the hotel I trusted assigned us to someone not trustworthy.
Pros: Pool, lobby, location, staff
Cons: The room was very simple and just ok
Pros: Location n cleanliness
Cons: Room decoration

Cons: Quite dated hotel, in need for renovation, especially doors and fixtures. Could hear everybody walking down the hallway and when the neighbours took a shower, thought our bathroom was getting flooded.

Guests can indulge in deep-tissue massages, aromatherapy, or reflexology, and Sevilla Mediterranean, one of 4 restaurants, serves Mediterranean cuisine and is open for dinner. Guests looking for a bite to eat can check out Zaffran, which serves lunch and dinner. There's also a bar/lounge, and rooms offer 24-hour room service and LCD TVs.
Pros: It was clean and a very nice hotel at a reasonable price. It is also right next to the airport which I found to be very helpful. While it was away from the busy streets of Delhi, it was a short can ride away with less traffic than when I stayed in the heart of the city. They're room service food was pretty good as well.
Cons: They're breakfast buffet was rather expensive and not very good. Given you are a bit far away from everything else, there aren't many food options so eating there is the only real option.
Pros: The rooms were clean and semi-modern
Cons: Waiting at the airport to be picked up, the staff wasn't friendly, the food was mediocre at best
Pros: Clean, Access to the airport, eating options at on site restaurant, friendly staff, value for money

Pros: We were only there for 14 hours but it was exactly what we needed. Super nice staff and very comfortable room.
Pros: We Come to Hotel at 2.AM Because of Flight Dlayed.
At the Reciption Desk the person who did Checked in Our Family was so nice and upgraded to Club Room
That was so Nice of him and walked us to our Room.
Thanks to all Staff it was Great Stay there.
Pros: Location, staff, ambiance and restaurants were all excellent.
Pros: location, room, breakfast, service, bed
Cons: Internet, only one hour free per day
Pros: Food is delicious. Cleanliness is good as well.
Cons: Calls are not received and arnt served properly. Very disappointing. Specially in room dinning.
Pros: Rooms are big, very comfortable beds and plenty of amenities to choose from. Overall a pleasant experience
Cons: Inroom dining needs more variety. Mini bar items are overly priced by atleast 100 to 200 rs each. Biggest down part was breakfast timings. Breakfast ended each day at 10 am where as most of the 5 star hotels provide breakfast till 1030 on weekdays and 11 am on weekends
Pros: The Lobby
Cons: 1. Waiters in the 24 hour restaurant were very rude, didn't know what good service was. That's because TIP is automatically included in the bill, so they didn't care to provide good service.
2. sheets were dirty and the bathroom was not cleaned properly.
3. Food was way overpriced.
Pros: We got a room with a connecting dor to another room with no insulation and the sounds from the other room disturbed us. We could not get it fixed by the staff.
The breakfast that we got when leaving early was a joke and insulting.
Pros: Comfortable rooms
No issues with cleanliness
Cons: NO FREE WIFI. Almost embarassing to an average hotel. Incredible for a hotel aiming for business and luxury market. Ruins the impression of the hotel early in the stay.
AUTOMATICALLY CHARGING PAYMENTS ON FOREIGN CARDS IN THEIR HOME CURRENCY, NOT RUPEES AS PER THE BILL This happened in the bars and restaraunts each time we visited. Having used their own exchange rate to heighten the true cost they were unable to cancel and repeat the transaction correctly.
Hotel hasn't realised that a concierge in a 5 star hotel is mainly there to help the guests with advice and logistics usimg their local knowledge.
Insisting that they can only sell a hotel service and not advise on anything else is no use to guests.
Pros: - Spa
Cons: It's a five start hotel with a two star service.
- Customer Service
- room very dark
- the hotel corridor smells
This family-friendly New Delhi hotel is located in the historical district, within 1 mi (2 km) of American Library and Jantar Mantar. India Gate and National Museum are also within 2 mi (3 km).

Pros: Staff is extremely friendly and helpful
Cons: After my booking, Hyatt was trying to overcharge me despite what i received in the confirmation (Thanks God i kept a copy of it).
When i raised the question for the overcharge, they tried to lie and after 10 minutes of argument, they adjusted the bill but they made it sound like they did me a favor.
I also did not receive any perks despite my Hyatt Platinum status.
