I asked the stewardess to move me to places of increased comfort, as my knee was swollen and I could not bend it. The stewardess answered that they have no competence to transfer me to these places.

Called before the flight took off to advise on the situation and ask for help to rebook the same flight later once the health status is stable. Have been told that there is absolutely nothing that can be done to be partially partially refunded at least for the 2nd flight that had to be catched after over 30 hours, which is unacceptable.

Pros: Food in business class was good although it was odd that breakfast was served at 3am while “lunch” was served prior to arrival once we all woke up.

Cons: The flight was the “older” business class set up with lacks privacy... not normally too much of a problem but there seemed to be quite a few upgrades from economy so it was full of people chatting loudly. There were problems with boarding that delayed the flight by an hour. Also, the boarding at Muscat’s new airport wasn’t great with the lounge telling us to board while, at the gate, boarding hadn’t started. MIght not be much of a problem except the kids were sleeping on our shoulders and there were no seats at the gates.

Cons: Flight from Istanbul to Delhi was nightmare. It was like a local flight. Nothing called as comfort was there. I had to pay my own $ for alcohol and some snacks and 1 extra burger.

Pros: The seats on the plane are fairly comfortable and the meals provided are good. Vanity kits handed out were good too

Cons: It starts off with a chaotic luggage check in. No order, the staff take breaks on a whim and leave long queues of passengers waiting to check in their bags. The cabin crew looked rather annoyed at us boarding the plane and didn't bother to smile or greet as we came on board. Since the flight was at 1:30am, we fell asleep almost immediately however the cabin crew woke us up by vigorously shaking my shoulder to ask if we wanted food. The vanity kits were just thrown onto our laps while we slept. The on board entertainment system did not work on the entire plane for the duration of the flight.

Cons: Flight crew did not clear cabin at takeoff and landing. Tables left down, seats reclined. Did not enforce standards resulting in restricted egress in case of emergency. Allowed passengers to get up, collect thier bags from overhead compartments immediately after landing and during taxi. Clogged asiles. Poor air con during flight. Extremely cramped seating. Low budget and lax attitude. Consistently late flights On a positive note, direct nonstop flights to major destinations at good rates. You get what you pay for though.

Pros: New 787 seats were extremely comfortable for short-haul, regional. 2-2-2 may not suit some people for long haul. Good selection of in-flight entertainment. Nice sincere service.

Cons: Boarding was unpleasant. Buses to aircraft: had to wait approx 10 mins in the bus on the tarmac whilst the previous two buses unloaded. Then the actual staircase / boarding process took nearly 10 minutes... queueing in 41 degree heat. Muscat is a very new airport and many gates with airbridges were not being used. As the home airport of the national carrier I wouldn't expect tarmac boarding.

Cons: Every single flight (4 total) took off late and even caused us to miss a connection. On the way to Madrid from Entebbe, my luggage was mislabeled and sent to London and now is completely lost. It has been two days of a trip of having no clothes, shoes, or toiletries other than what I had on my person. And I have yet to hear from anyone with Ethiopian Airlines, only representatives from Madrid airport.

Cons: A problem in adjusting my return flight caused a cancelation of the return flight, customer service was not available at night time (flight was early morning ) a visit to there airport office had nothing to offer but by a new overinflated ticket and then discuss the rest with HQ or use the phone nearby for technical support that took me 20 minutes to understand that it is going to be busy for the rest of the night (time was 1:30 am) approximately

Pros: Very limited (basically 2 times) food were provided over 16:40 hrs flying time. Kids were hungry. No tea/coffee were provided. After distributing warm clothes, we got food almost one hour later.
