Pros:I always like flying Air India opposed to other Airlines due to thier hospitality and baggage limit.
Cons:Mobility of seating area but that's economy class always. Still happy with my flights with Air India.

Cons:Three and a half hour delay taking off! Couldn't check in bags for hours due to delayed departure time. Had to pay extra for overweight. Allowed only 15 kilos.

Pros:Decent Whiskey selection and not stingy in serving alcohol. Food - going East from Newark - All Indian dishes watered down in taste ; may be to suit western palates. Air India, we fly for Authentic stuff, not westernized bland food.
Cons:Extended non stop flight -no PA announcement that there are snacks available - go help yourself from the galley. A real "DIY airline" in terms of food service. Rude cabin crew. Entertainment system not working. Newark ground staff, Cabin Crew and Mumbai Ground staff gave confusing instructions on how to change to Domestic flight for IGIA. Air India needs to get its act together.
Pros:When I could not locate my checked-in bag, the AI staff handled the tracking very efficiently.

Cons:It’s very apparent that they have no concept of process or effiency. Procedures that were likely developed 50 years ago are still in place and serve absolutely no purpose. I’ve been in aviation for over 20 years and I know the industry. Be prepared for illogic step after step continuously throughout your journey. Be prepared to never receive a correct or meaningful answer.
