At the gate we were asked to check in the other carry on bag which we bought right before the trip making sure it fit the new small size req. Still that was put into check-in. We ended up with no carry on luggages with us boarded. Only to find quite a lot of bags that are much bigger than ours were allowed to be in the cabin."

And they lost the record of my payment, so I had to show 4 times the Amex receipt showing that I had paid before. It took 45 minutes and 4 non receptive agents for me to get my luggage checked. British Airways is significantly better."

On my flight to London, a mother with a young child wanted hot water and the staff (middle aged British male) was trying to tell her repeatedly she should say "please" when she asks. She was asking politely so this behaviour was rather poor in my view."

It took them 4 hours to fix it. Which was not too bad. What was bad is that they lied to us. Because I missed my connecting flight, they said that they would be waiting for us with our new flights and not to worry. When we arrived in London, we were scrambling to find out where to go. there was several families in front of me that missed their flights and they were having problems trying to re-book their flights. It took about 3/4 hours for me (one person) to re-book my London to Glasgow because I was stuck behind families. I was trying to explain one of BA employees that I (1 person) needed a flight to Glasgow. It was getting late and I was worried that I might miss the last flight of the day and would be stuck in London until the next day. She didn't like that I told her that and didn't want to help me. so it took me about 4 hours in line to get my flight and had to rush to get it. I had also purchased a window sit that I was not able to get. The guy that help me re-book my flight told me that I would have to call for that. Which I did now but the first phone # I called, the guy said that I had to call this other #. I called the # he gave me and a recording comes out that they are too backed up with calls and cannot help me to go to the website. At the website, they are asking for the flight # of the re-booked flight (I only have my original flight #'s on my email). I don't know what happened to the ticket they gave me to board the re-booked flight so I don't have it. I don't know where else to call about my refund and also think I deserve some kind of compensation for missing a day at both airports with horrible treatment and service. CAN YOU HELP ME ON HOW TO TALK TO A REPRESENTATIVE ABOUT MY REFUND AND SOME SORT OF COMPENSATION?"

Pros: "Impossible to enjoy a flight you didn't choose and were forced to fly on due to a schedule change, especially when the flights you'd booked had much better timing for a fixed teacher's holiday schedule. Avoid Oman Air unless you are sadistic and enjoy forced flight changes and no compensation. As I was forced to change to a flight to one arriving at 03.10 with my work starting at 06.00, I tried (and failed due to a lack of space and fidgety neighbour) to sleep all the flight to be fresh and professional for my work. The booked flight which was forcibly cancelled got me home 9pm the night before work. Oman Air refused a suggestion to upgrade me to business class so I could try and sleep."
Cons: "I am a teacher. I can't choose my holiday times. I get three fixed weeks in summer. In both 2017 + 2018 Oman Air changed their schedule forcing me to change my flights. I was out of pocket for a small amount - they refused to pay the $27.60. I was to arrive home at 9pm for an 06.00 start to work they changed my flight so I arrived at 04.00. I asked for an upgrade to business class to try and sleep. They ignored the request. They instead sent me a copy of the small print saying that they were allowed to change anyone's flights and give zero compensation if the 'client' is informed two weeks in advance. I will avoid Oman Air from now on, even if they seem to offer the best times to fly."

IF THE AGENT APPOINTED BY OMAN AIR HAD ISSUED A WRONG TICKET, IT IS THE PRINCIPAL WHO IS RESPONSIBLE WHICH IN THIS CASE IS OMAN AIR. IT WAS A BAD EXPERIENCE AND OMAN AIR HAS TO COMPENSATE. The entertainment screens did not work for quite some time."

Cons: "This is an international flight which didnt have an in seat entertainment. They didnt announce anything and this is the only airline where they serve the food without even checking if you want or not. It was a mid night flight and i was fast asleep after take off. They woke me up and just threw the food on the table and walked off. Another first of its kind is they serve solid food first and followed by drinks so even if you are thirsty, you have to wait. All juice will be served later. and the most uncomfortable old seats. Probably they use different flights for different sectors and to India, they consider every passenger as just "cattle" class and use the worst flight they have. But no other option. There are few direct flights and this is the only choice. So have to fly with them again unfortunately."
Pros: "-Muscat airport must have aero-bridge -the crew is apologetic to serve alcoholic beverages-sneaked in wine bottle 15 minutes before descent/touchdown; emirates etihad have no qualms openly and freely serving alcohol in international flights. -leg space is cramped. -did not announce baggage belt -did not inform ambient temperature and other weather details"

Also when my friend who I was traveling with picked up her luggage the plastic was ripped off. That must be some rough handling they have because this was a hard plastic suitcase.. The choice of 15kg as the limit is a BIG problem for international travelers who may be coming for longer stays. Air India has a much friendlier policy for checked and carryon baggage and I would choose it by far. We were charged for every kilo even though prepay options online were not user friendly. 4 thumbs down, way down."

Cons: "I booked my flight through Kayak, which redirected me to Kiwi.com. They in turn booked my flight and sent me my tickets in an attachment that wouldn't open. When I tried multiple computers, the website said, system down. So I couldn't print my itinerary. Hence, when I got to the airport, they wouldn't let me in. After two hours of people telling me "No no no", someone finally figured out that kiwi had used some unique credit card number under my fellow passenger's name. I had struggled and argued for two hours. Finally someone knew and recognized the issue and helped us. In the nick of time, we were allowed on board."

Typical Indigo Crew The flight was delayed and the on time with Indigo is anyways a misnome, the announcement was made only an hour or so before departure. Poor service."
