  • Are direct flights available from India to Spain?

There are no direct flights available from Indian airports to airports in Spain. This stopover will usually be in Europe or the Arab Emirates depending on your chosen route.

  • Where should I fly to if I want to visit Ibiza?

If you plan to visit Ibiza or any of the other Balearic Islands, the most convenient option is to fly from India to one of Spain’s airports on the east coast. This gives you a choice of multiple airports, such as Valencia (VLC), Barcelona (BCN), or Alicante (ALC). From these destinations, you can easily find domestic flights or take a ferry out to the islands. It is also possible to fly from India to Ibiza, however, this route will usually involve two stopovers and is more expensive than flying to the Spanish mainland.

  • Do I need a visa to travel to Spain?

Indian citizens are required to have a valid visa to enter Spain. If you plan to visit Spain, you should apply for a Schengen tourist or business visa in advance of your travel. This will allow you to enter Spain for a period of up to 90 days.

  • Where do I have to land if I want to go to Spanish ski resorts?

During winter, you can fly to Girona Airport (GRO) in the north of the country, which is about 2 hours by road from the nearest ski resort in the Pyrenees. Alternatively, you can fly to Granada Airport (GRX) in the south of the country, which is around a 30-minute drive from the closest Sierra Nevada ski resorts.

  • If you plan to visit multiple cities during your trip to Spain, you can find frequent and cheap domestic flights from central hubs like Madrid. • Barcelona Airport is the main international travel hub that serves the north of Spain. From here, you can easily make arrangements to travel to nearby areas, such as Andorra or Girona.
  • If you're travelling to Spain for a beach holiday or to soak up some sun, consider travelling to the south coast of Spain, which is served internationally by Malaga Airport. This will give you easy access to the Costa del Sol and the many seaside resorts nearby.
  • You can enjoy the winter sun in Spain by flying to one of the Canary Islands. For example, you can fly with Lufthansa from New Delhi Airport (DEL) to Tenerife South Airport (TFS) or from Mumbai Airport (BOM) to Gran Canaria Airport (LPA). Both of these flights require a transfer, at an airport like Munich Airport (MUC).
  • If you are visiting Spain during Semana Santa, which is the holy week during Easter, you should be aware that flight prices are likely to be more expensive. If you’re not attending for this reason, you might want to consider travelling before or after these celebrations.

Worst kayak is worst ill never ever use kayak ever again !!

It went well except at delhi airport they told me that my flight is canceled and only after talking to manager they were able to find seats for me and my wife

Offboarding in Dubai was a bit confusing. The bus dropped us off, we passed the security, and then we were again in departure, no clue, no guidance on where to get our luggage

Flight and entertainment great. Food needs to be improved, only one choice on the menu. Staff worked well throughout.

Seat did not recline at all, wi-FI did not work at all. Those are both very unfortunate for a 14 hour flight. Crew and food was of course very nice as always.

Food was great. More vegetarian options on menu would be great!

The main issue was that the flight from trivandrum to Dubai was delayed which resulted in arriving late in Dubai. Coincidentally the flight leaving out of Dubai to jfk was also delayed for different reason. Despite we reached the gate ( through wheel chair assistance) along with 10 other passengers we were not let in. The gate was open and yet was refrained from entering. We were then requested to flight the next morning. Meal vouchers were provided but the hotel reservations were not made and took a lot longer to receive that. If Emirates knew about the delay and was certain the passengers will not be able to board the next flight shouldn't they have prepared these ahead of time?

I would have liked less packaged snacky stuff, more fruit. The crew was great.

Love that you can walk directly to your gate from the Emirates Business class lounge, very convenient

in today's time, an airline like emirates didnt serve drinks as requested, Excuse was full flight.

The crew was friendly, and the flight landed on time

Rude Iberia security crew at the Madrid terminal. No Iberia officials to be found to redress complaints at the gate. No supervisors. Nothing for processing upgrades at the gate Iberia app did not work to let me upgrade my options to higher classes. No water was offered on a hot day in Madrid. Madrid airport air conditioning was so weak that people were sweating. Never book on any airlines that codeshare with Iberia.

Comfort. Not good very little space after the person in front of you lay back.

On a more than 8 hours flight was only one meal included, which I have never experienced before. Always two meals on the overseas flight. It was very weird.

Positive: It was refreshingly easy and polite check-in and boarding staff. Flight was on time and Helsinki is a very well-signposted airport. Shopping was nice as well. Flight was not full and I had lots of space in economy. Flight was perfectly on time. Negative: Food and drink not very good, but that it is normal on any airline. Didn't expect anything else.

Business seating is soooo uncomfortable. You can sit straight up or lay down. You need pillows behind you because the back doesn’t lay down. Those are need to “prop” you up. The chair has no padding whatsoever. Food was gross. I’ve eaten on Finnair before and the food was exceptional. This time it gave 2 people in our party diarrhea. It was the chicken dish. I took 2 bites and didn’t eat anything more. The flight attendants were nice. You needed an additional lounge in Terminal D at DFW Airport. After waiting 40 minutes to enter, we finally gave up and went to a bar across from the club doors. I’m unsure if I’ll ever book a Finnair flight again.

Very good seat, very comfortable, good food, and good service.

It was a good flight, very comfortable seats for sleeping in business class. Probably the most comfortable business class seat I've ever had (20+ times in business class on various airlines). Service was good, but the only downside is my screen didn't work and it had to be reset multiple times to get it to shut off. I had to block my eyes because the screen was white almost the entire flight and I wore an eye mask when I slept. But when eating and reading in my seat, my eyes hurt because the only way to turn the screen off was reset it and the screen would only be off for a few minutes at a time.

Everything was wonderful! AirBus seats are more comfortable to sleep in as compared to the Boeing planes.

All reviews good because...flight from BWI to London ,economy seats was miserable. I usually book 1,step up from economy but this would have added 1500 bucks 1 way. Bit the bullet and upgraded for retun flight, otherwise all ratings would have been rock bottom.

Seats were very comfortable and the staff too was very friendly.

I booked tickets for a family of five and specifically paid extra to select our seats together. We spent nearly $1,000 extra (around $100 per seat) for extra legroom so we could sit near each other. However, despite paying for this, we ended up being separated on the flight. This caused a major issue for our family because my parents do not speak English and rely on me to translate and assist them during the journey. I do not understand why Etihad changed our reserved seats without explanation. I am extremely dissatisfied with this experience. I expect the airline to do better, and I am requesting a full refund for the seat selection fees we paid.

Flight got canceled due to Middle East conflict. Just fly hasn’t refunded me the money

Unfortunately the flight was cancelled so I never got to go

Food quality and varites were very minimum. Surprised to have no desserts. Business class tickets should have lounge access and seats selection. They should be allowed to board while people with wheel chair, secial assistance and family with childrem.

Business class ticket should include lounge access and seat selection. The food quality and varieties should be more. It was surpirise that no dessert was offered.

Awful the whole airline arrived to check baggage and board our flight and the airline desk was closed where none of the passengers could check in baggage, asked for a supervisor and was refused a supervisor, called the airlines from the airport and they refused to refund the flights for their actions in the airport, Etihad and Garuda Airlines absolutely horrible customer service all the way around.

No entertainment except on app. No outlets working to charge. Good service

It was great! Kept the time. Provided what was promised

It was mediocre. Honestly, the flight was late but that didn’t bother me as I had plenty of time. The only thing that bothered me is that the crew never asked to make the beds for us in business class. Maybe the crew was exhausted and that just didn’t occur to them.

I do not have any issue after travelling but not able to return back to Newyork because my flight is cancelled. Requested to refund my full amount.

Are you KIDDING RIGHT NOW?!?! SENDING OUT SURVEYS FOR CANCELED FLIGHTS IN A CONFLICT ZONE?!?! ARE YOU FEELING OK??????

Are you KIDDING RIGHT NOW?!? SENDING OUT SURVEYS FOR CANCELED FLIGHTS IN A CONFLICT ZONE?!? ARE YOU FEELING OK???

Food is terrible, service is not good. Staff were not personable and rushed food service.

The onboarding was extremely confusing. Had to climb the stairs to plan from tarmac with carryon bags in hand. No apologies for inconvenience. Overall not quite pleasant experience.

Boarding /lounge :Chaotic boarding , business /first class had a dedicated line but it was upto to the passenger to figure out and use those lines .Oasis lounge is clean but tiny so it felt over crowded . Neither the food nor amenities felt business/first class . Cabin and tech : 2-2-2 configuration needs to go . Leg space is cramped , headsets didn’t work . WIFI does exist or didn’t work on the entire 20 hour journey . Food and crew : Preordered “Hindu Non vegetarian” meal , crew was clueless , they didn’t even bother to ask if they weren’t sure what that meant . Served mediocre vegetarian food though menu had chicken /lamb options . In short , worst business class experience of all the airlines I flew to date . Not sure if there is one area they compete in let alone excel … avoid if you can .

Food was not available in the middle of the trip that is 13 hours

Everything was good and no points to complain. Food is always a tricky concept. Sometimes you like it and sometimes you don’t. Food was redundant from Kuwait City to NY-JFK.

Beautiful Flight took off on time and everything was good

Next time im going to use Kuwait air lines, hopefully

Catastrophic experience the gate selected customers were picked up to.pay 70 eur for overweight 1-2 kg. While some others were let to board without chcking their carry on bags. Unecessaey drama by Lufthansa that brings nothing just hating them by customers.

Flight was cancelled due to maintenance issues. It was a nightmare to get an alternate flight back home.

I ordered Hindu meal and expecting a vegetarian food. Instead I got Chicken. Also entertainment system was so bad and slow I was never able to use it

I liked crew, always smiling and provided the best services.

Layover time was not sufficient as the gate was too far, I had to literally run and was out of my breath. This was main drawback. The crew was wonderful and so is their service. I loved interacting with them.

They didn’t have my special meal I requested. It seemed like they just put a sticker on a veg meal for me. I had a little bit of it but it didn’t taste good and I got sick from eating it by the time I boarded my Frankfurt to NY flight

The food from Delhi to Frankfurt went bad or something cause I got sick after I ate the meal and felt ill the rest of my travel back to NY

From HYD to FRA - plane (787-9) seating in economy was so terribly cramped. There were tons of empty seats but we were ordered (by Lufthansa's crew) that we cannot change seats even after we reached cruising altitude, ostensibly because of "safety reasons". So what could've been a nicer experience was totally soured. Food was good. Flight was punctual. From FRA to LHR - for some strange reason ("totally full flight") they asked us to check in our cabin bag! We told them that there were medicines and delicate items inside al we'd like to keep it with us in the cabin. Then they VERY rudely *ordered* is to unload our delicate items and meds and the. Check in the bag. We complied. On the way into the plane we saw many others (whites, of course!) rolling in similar bags happily into the plane. This, this leg of the trip was completely ruined for us by Lufthansa's crew. Bottom line: I am never traveling Lufthansa again!

Flight was great. Smooth flying, movies good. Open seats allowed for good stretching.

Not enough veg food for passengers. I actually did not get veg food and starved the entire flight duration.
