The entertainment is good but frustrating that it is constantly interrupted with announcement about everything. I have never heard that many on any other plane. The announcement about customs paperwork was long and done 2 times in English and 2 times in Arabic. There safety video is soooo long and again is done in two languages. It was just all too much. Besides that everything was great."
Cons: "The flight departure from Dar was moved up an hour and the congestion at the airport made it close. Also I need a name tag on a checked piece of luggage. When I asked, I was told that none were available. The check in person was not pleasant or helpful. I also had to watch to make sure that the luggage labels were attached to be sure that they would make it to Chicago. Once on the plane there was an unrudy boy sitting in front of us jumping in his seat, never wearing his seat belt kicking the seat, turning on the light beating on the tray table, calling the flight attendant. The adult ignored the child through the flight. It was one of the worse experiences I have had on a plane. I would have to think very hard before I fly Qatar again."

Boarding process was pure pandemonium...this was the first time in recent memory, where all coach passengers were invited to board at the same time! Very inefficient! Crowded seating in coach,with ten passengers sandwiched in across Boeing 767 aircraft. Competing airlines flying identical aircraft have nine across seatings Thin seat cushions cause leg cramps after a few hours."

Cons: "On the flight to Zurich the passenger behind me gave me a difficult time about reclining my seat back but keep in mind he had his reclined. Coming back to Newark the gentleman behind my boyfriend made a comment how he didn't have room due to his seat being reclined. The passenger next to us was arguing with the passenger in front of her because she didn't want that person to recline their seat back. I have never experienced such rude people on a flight and I realize this is beyond your control. It made for a very uncomfortable and stressful flight. Maybe signs can be posted or a message when booking your flight that ALL passengers have a right to recline seats and if space is an issue for your comfort then upgrade to business class for more room."

Assuming no issues I went to airport to find out it was canceled. I did not receive an explanation. I waited in line for two hours before speaking to a representative. Was made to feel like it was my fault I hadn't worked things out while waiting in line-"didn't you receive an email!?" I was told no other options except to leave the next day. I pulled up many other flights out of Venice that would get me home in time and was told that there simply were no other options. The real explanation was that Swiss didn't want to pay out to get me home in time. I had to pay more money to get back into the city rather than sit in airport for 12 hours."

I asked the flight attendant if everything was okay, and he smiled and explained that there was some rain on the way to Switzerland. I really appreciate when the crew takes the time to explain what is going on. Knowing what to expect helps me deal with my fear. Because of the flight attendant's willingness to explain the details of our flight, I felt more comfortable during the remainder of the trip."

She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."

For a twelve hour flight, the food was only Okay, could have been better and with a better selection. Meal timing was poor."

KLM blamed the fog at Manchester but to be honest most other flights seemed unaffected. Put up in an IBIS hotel and fed substandard food and shitty hotel room with an Aircon unit that clunks into action every 30 seconds keeping me awake. It's external so I can't switch it off. Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros."

boarding in mumbai was a mess.. It felt like 80% of the flight boarded in the pre boarding section which was meant only for people with special needs and with children. The staff who were checking their documents just did not care if they were supposed to be in this line or not. Lets hope they improve on this

Cons: "Flights were late and boarding was caios, no one had any clue what to do. Blankets were filthy. Entertainment had limited choice. Considering I took six flights in this month, I will let it slide that they ran out of New movies. Worst part was food. Obviously, there is no quality consideration when they decide menu. Check Emirates or other similar fare bracket airlines to understand the gravity of Lufthansa food problem. If one reason I had to choose to drop Lufthansa from my future consideration then that would be worst food and drinks. I would strongly recommend that they should assign people who need additional time to board at the back of the plane. It will help them to go back of the plane faster and avoid gridlock in the middle. Another advantage is it will help other passengers leave plane faster at the end of the ride. Boarding process will be come significantly faster by filling the plane from back to front by loading passanger with children and who needs time at the first loading area at the back of the plane. Cons: "Lufthansa Ground staff was not equipped to handle flight cancellation! It took them 4.5 hrs after scheduled flight departure time between which they told us flight was cancelled and provided Hotel Accommodations. Very sad customer handling and service. Subsequent booking was a mess too!"

Cons: "Very poor ground staff at the check-in counter. Made me pay 2nd bag fee of $100 at the time of check-in, despite the airline rules allowing 2 free checked bags. The staff including the supervisor were so un-cooperative and rude. The supervisor snapped at me by saying that I was not doing the airline any favor by flying Lufthansa. At that point I just gave up and paid the totally unjust fee. Took me to a back room to pay the fees, where the credit card machine and even the printer wasn't working. ...... very bad experience EVER !!!"

Cons: "I actually lost money because of the misinformation -- was told there was a modification on my flight details and that I had to call the Lufthansa office. I called in and was never told that anything was wrong. I kept trying to check in online and got blocked at every trial... Cut a long story short, I showed up for my Lufthansa flight to only be told I didn't have the required visa for one of my layovers... I missed my flight, got no refund for it and got zero help in finding a solution to my problem. You could do better than that, Lufthansa."

Cons: "Everything, this was a total nightmare, my flight left Boston two hours late and my connecting flight in Munich had already left for Pisa. They then put me on a flight that day to Rome so I could get a flight from there to Pisa and when I got to Rome they ended up printing me a wrong boarding pass to Pisa and I ended up in Florencewhich I then had to take a train to Pisa because there were no other flights going to Pisa from Florence that day and the topper is I still have no luggage as they LOST it."

It was left behind in Paris on our way to Casablanca causing us to waste a day in Casablanca traveling back to the airport the grab the bag the next day. And to add injury to insult her bag was left behind in JFK during our transfer for our flight to Seattle. No big deal right, Delta will deliver the bag to our house the next day, wrong, we were told we have to go to the airport ourselves to get the bag."

The bin was only big enough for 1 backpack. 2 of the 3 of us in that row had to go 2 rows back to store our luggage. This is very inconvenient when deboarding because I have to wait for many others to pass before I get a chance to walk towards the back of the plane to get my luggage."
Cons: "It is very difficult to get around CDG airport with a disabled person. There is no shuttle. By the time we got to check in, we were ten minutes late. They would not check us in, and we paid over $700 to change tickets to the next flight. When I complained, I was told to stop being rude or I would get no ticket at all. My mother is 94 years old and we did the best we could given the circumstance."

If this were not enough, the airline also lost one of our bags so this week we have to file for compensation for both begin downgraded and for the contents of our 30 kilo bag which never made it to Ho Chi Minh. Air France was a complete and total disaster and I would strongly recommend all friends and colleagues to find alternative airlines for travel"

Pros: "Premium Economy on AF Boeing 777 on this route is not "a little less than Business", but rather "a little more than Economy". Seats, in a 2-4-2 configuration, are hard but OK, as well as the pitch. Good screens and entertainment."
Cons: "With the main meal, AF serves only "ordinary wine", This looks and tastes cheap. On the same route and class, Vietnam Airlines serves premium wines, a nice touch that would not cost fortunes to AF! Also, the "Asian" choice for the main course did not look and taste like the real thing."
Cons: "I think I caught a stomach bug on one of the 3 legs of this route. More likely on last 2, i.e. Mumbai to RDU, as I fell sick almost 10-12 hrs after my last flight meal."
