|Top route||Edinburgh Turnhouse to London Heathrow|
|Top airport||London Heathrow|
BA was wonderful, but Heathrow is a nightmare! Avoid it at all costs!!!
The seats were very uncomfortable; the pitch was very bad. The arm rests did not raise fully. Food was mediocre and not hot. Breakfast sandwiches were inedible, cold and dry. Thanks
The armrests did not lift up fully. No power outlets, seats very tight and narrow
We bought economy tickets, still over $900 each. As a customer you aren’t treated very well by a few of the AA staff. My wife and I were unable to sit together. We weren’t able to load connecting tickets to either of our phones. We then had to go to a AA desk to get them and then get back in line to connect. We’ve had some good experiences with AA in the past. This was not one of them.
Flight was late boarding was slow.
Gate agent was rude, insulting and disrespectful.
More snacks on the plane would be nice...
No complaints, all good
Plane was 1 hour late - there was no way we would make our connection but we didn’t get rebooked. Flight arrived at the same time as 3+ other international arrivals. Immigration/customs was an absolute mess. Bags came out at the very end, even though we had a very tight connection (which we missed). I had global entry so was allowed to skip the lines but ended up waiting 45 minutes for my bag, so GE was useless. The only redeeming factor was the fact that we were rebooked on a different airline with a different itinerary confirmation. Basic economy is bullshit and paying extra for the possibility of making changes to the res is a horrible horrible idea. I will never fly with American Airlines ever again, nor will I ever book with Chatdeal. Ah yes and my outbound flights were both delayed - the first in was delayed 2 hours and the second one was delayed 7.5 hours, both due to maintenance problems. Fix your planes before they’re scheduled to fly, people. This has been the worst travel experience I have ever had, truly.
Not pleased with the staff allowing their friend to save seats that nobody used except their friend to lay down using all three seats. Also, food was served and three hours later they give the same meal to another passenger that turned on her light and kept the 25 people around her awake!
We had a 4 hour delay in leaving and I appreciated the text messages and good communication during that stressful time.
Crew was not as friendly and service was real slow.
Crew member was extremely helpful with all passengers and was trying to make everyone comfortable .she had a cheerful disposition.
Heraklion airport was disorganized and crowded. Gate change announcement was only made once.
Oversold flight, denied boarding at the gate. 3 hours to rebook, no compensation or communication from AA. Worst customer service staff and rudest employees I’ve ever dealt with in Athens airport for AA. Rebooked to new itinerary which was incomplete! Arrived in heathrow where AA staff were not informed of issues in Athens and did not book hotel as promised. Abysmal experience. AA should be ashamed.
We were notified about departure delay more than 24 hours in advance. Much appreciated
The crew were helpful and attend our needs immediately. Service was good. Food was excellent. Entertainment, you should add more movies. Hygiene was also good.
It would be good to have free Wi-Fi without depending on flying rewards
Didn't actually make the connection to Newark due to weather conditions. But rebooking was easy and everyone at British Airways was incredibly helpful! I will definitely fly this airline again without hesitation!
Weather delay caused me to miss my connection in London. But the agent was able to rebook me on a flight that was actually closer to my final destination than originally planned. The crew on the flight to BWI were extraordinary and I can't thank the booking agent, crew and everyone at British Airways enough!
The boarding process was appalling we were left standing around for over an hour whilst the staff at the gate were dealing with a problem but there was no communication to say what was wrong, very frustrating. Flight also arrived 2hrs 10mins late for a 2hrs 20min flight.
Our scheduled flight from LHR to EDI was originally cancelled without us being notified. We didn't find out until we inquired at a customer service desk because we couldn't check in online. We were immediately rebooked, which was kind, but our luggage never got re-tagged and put on the flight, which meant that we were without our luggage for 3 days.
Loved business class. Unfortunately I was travel sick on the flight as a little bumpy. The crew could have been better as asked for water and it never came. I waited until the breakfast was served and was able to ask again.
The crew was very friendly and helpful. The meals were way better than normal airplane food
Boarding was significantly delayed. Seat assignments going and returning were the worst on the plane. Food options, choices, were not available by the time the meal cart got back to our row. We were treated like second class citizens. Unacceptable. And this happened not only with one meal, but with two on the return trip.
Turbulence to much, the multimedia at my seat doen nt work the audio, the crew was rud.
Traveling with non-mobile disabled person, on oxygen, was made easy by this crew. Especially Suzanne and Priscilla. We were greatly assisted with boarding and disembarking, as well as during the flight, with frequent welfare checks.
Ordering the food wasn’t properly explained and therefore no one ordered food or drink. When I looked on line it wasn’t properly explained either
We had confirmed flight, but my partner was put on standby, leaving us uncomfortable and worried that we wouldn't get on the flight. It was a most unpleasant experience, until at the last minute, he got a seat. The final small meal, which was served very late and was described as pizza, was inedible. I heard numerous passengers remarking about this choice.
