The food and beverage options were comparable to most airlines like Delta, United, etc, but presentation was better so they get style points. Their wifi connectivity was far better than Gogo's services, which is the provider for most domestic airlines. The real improvement compared to most my travel was the level of service. The staff was incredibly attentive."

I have never had any airline actually weigh my personal item (laptop backpack) before this journey. Eventually I ended up stuffing my check-in bags with everything I was carrying in my carry on bag before I was allowed to check in. The weird thing is, I was never told about this rule on my journey from the US to India."

Pros: "Seat is very comfortable"
Pros: "We really enjoyed flying with Virgin and so made sure we booked into a Virgin flight for this trip and not delta. The food was good, entertainment good when it worked."
Cons: "We got told that our flight number had changed from VS103 to VS4049 but still a Virgin flight. Only when we checked in we found out we were now flying with Delta and number was now DL285. Was not happy as wanted to fly with Virgin.The seats were ok but the entertainment system went down mid film. Took an hour to get started again. The games didn't work. Staff were a bit grumpy."
Pros: "I was selected for additional screening at the gate. I have no problem with this at all. From the start I told them I am traveling with my fiancee. They tried to hold me back in a separate area after the screening and I once again told them my fiancee was waiting for me. One staff memeber walked with me half way back to get her and then disappeared. By the time I found her and came back, the staff memeber was no where to be found. Now we had lost are spot in the line and had to go to the back of the line. We spoke to 3 different staff people about what was going on and everyone said, oh the guy over there will help you. But no one did. The staff had No idea how to run a security check or handle paople. There was No working wifi! There was no tvs in the seats, only the old style in the aisle. The staff told me the plan was going to retire at the end of the month. The food was more for animals then for humans! We got updates by txt 10 mins before the staff updated the gate on our flight out from SFO. I have traveled all over the world with a lot of airlines and Never had such a poor service, but what is it to expect. It was United after all!"

Pros: "I was very impressed by the generosity you show concerning food och drink. the staff was kind and glad."
Cons: "I never understood how to connect the earphones to the screen so I couldn't ser any movie. But - I could have asked the staff of course ..."
Pros: "Did not take the flight in the end"
Cons: "My first leg flight was delayed and I booked through kayak on two different airlines and the first airline did not communicate with the second airline so 5 passengers ran to make the change and arrived 1 min after the jetbridge to get on the plane was pulled away. It was incredible frustrating and could have very easily been avoided with communication from the airlines"
Cons: "My headphones and those of my neighbors did not work."
Cons: "One toilet not working"
Pros: "On time, comfortable (for Economy), friendly crew. Nine hour flight didn't feel that long."
Cons: "Entertainment system in our seats seemed pretty beat up. On one there was no sound, on the other not all the buttons on the control would respond when you pressed them."
Pros: "The enforcement of the quiet time to sleep on the flight. The excellent meals. The quality of the entertainment system."
Cons: "Seat cushion r not soft comfortable enough. R hard. Hard My butt"
Pros: "There are lots of relatively new movies to choose from."
Cons: "The complimentary headset breaks easily. Tray table was broken and they can't fix it. Very small bathrooms, knees almost touch the door when sitting down. Food selection for dinner ran out quickly, resulting in only 2 choices and one is hot spicy, so basically only one choice. All beverages are given out in small cups, even water is given out in small cups increments (finish in one gulp), they don't even give out small bottles of water. No complimentary packet (eye shades, socks etc.) , not even a barf bag for collecting trash."
Cons: "Both my departing flight and returning flight had broken wifi on it. Very bummed"
Pros: "The boarding and the overall flight experience was quite good."
Cons: "There were movie options such as Sully and Deepwater Horizon, which I think are unsuitable for flights. Overall, the movie options could have had more variety."

Cons: "Sitting in the galley vomiting for 6h. Flight was completely packed since flights the day before had been canceled, but a full flight isn't really something you can complain about."
Pros: "Flight was on the emptier side, so my boyfriend and I each got our own entire rows to lay down and sleep the entire flight. Which was great, since I had just spent 6h vomiting from bali belly on the previous flight. Liked that they accommodated my GF meal."

Cons: "After checking in my wife and I were in separate seats. I was then unable to change my seat after check in. After calling the helpline I was informed that it is impossible to change the seat after checking in until I am at the airport. No other airline has such an obscure, in efficient rule. Virgin takes pride in being a step above their competition - I didn't see it. I have flown international on Delta, American Airlines, British Airlines, United, and others and any difference in the experience was negligible."

Cons: "This VS007 flight is in an old Airbus that needs a major overhaul, especially compared to newer planes in their fleet. The screens are hardly visible, the movie selection more limited, the seats old, and no electrical outlets for a 11hr flight is just not acceptable these days!"
Pros: "Having partied until 6am for New Years I was grateful for a bed on the flight home! Fantastic crew, planes and overall service!"
Cons: "Wish the arrivals lounge was open for flights arriving in the afternoon."

Pros: "Delta crews are very friendly and helpful. Seats are 'good' on the E175 plane - better than the cramped CRJ200 on some other short flights. We boarded early, left a little early and arrived early. Nothing to complain about, except maybe a crying baby behind me, but that's not Delta's fault. :)"

Pros: "I liked the service to see if there was a chance to upgrade because of the connecting flight and even though there was a delay in the plane arriving to Alaska, the quick turn was excellent and we were in the air within a short period of time."

Cons: "This was my worst EVER airline experience. It was delayed 27 hours and the snow was not the only problem. When we finally got on board a plane we sat on the runway for over two hours - then they FORGOT to load the luggage!!!"

Cons: "I had a 4 hour layover in Minneapolis, there was another flight to Denver that I meant I could’ve been home three hours earlier had I done standby, but because I had a cheaper ticket I was not allowed that opportunity. That makes absolutely no sense to me seeing as my flight was packed. I’m sorry my flight saved me money"

Cons: "The choices of free snacks were limited. They should also give more than 1 package of peanut."
Pros: "Everyone was very courteous, the plane took off on schedule and arrived at our destination early. Also got a complimentary upgrade to Comfort Plus."
Cons: "Ticket price was a bit much, the seats and aisle inside the plane are only made for skinny people. Aisle was barely longer across than my foot, and the guy next to me was a bit bigger than average, leaving me to have to scrunch in my seat the whole flight. Lots of elbows, butts and hips knocking into my shoulders as people boarded."
Cons: "It was smelly. Anyone who does not smoke can smell old smoke. Yuk. Also, smells like a neighboring passenger has bowel issues. Ick"

Cons: "The new plane has NO leg room at all. It’s the worst leg room i’ve Experienced for such a large plane. I’m 6’1” and my knees would only fit if I spread my legs wide and sit back deep into the chair."

Cons: "Flight attendant from IND to Minneapolis must have had a rough evening or bad morning. Service in airplane is usually poor but this one was worse. Bumping most of the passenger when passing, handing drinks behind his back, not smiling."
Pros: "I like the snacks they are not giving out on the flights. It seems that Delta is trying to make the flying experience nicer instead of more tedious and uncomfortable like many other airlines, which is appreciated."
Cons: "The flights were both operated by Delta but booked through WestJet, and the flights themselves were fine. The booking was through WestJet (found the flight on kayak which kicked me over to West Jet's site) and check in was a pain. Their code did not work for their site or Delta's, I had to FB message them both leaving and returning to ask for the correct one, and the first request took them hours to answer. I'll just book Delta next time and save myself the trouble."

Cons: "Way too many useless announcements by the copilot and the lead flight attendant. Keep it short. Don't get back on once you put the mic back. And how about announcing th baggage claim carousel if your going to interrupt as much as you did."
