I liked that there was a smaller airplane on LED - HEL route: it gives more "feeling of flying" than the bigger planes do.
I didn't like the fact that it was not indicated in advance (when the tickets are sold) that LED - HEL route is operated by a different airline, even though that airline is a Finnair's partner. It would have been better to have a complete information up front.
But the airplane and crew were excellent.
The flight did eventually take off, unlike a few others leaving around the same time.
We were delayed several hours and were never told why. Mostly there were no Aeroflot staff at the gate to ask. When there was, they said they couldn't help us because our flight was a codeshare with FinnAir. At the last minute they switched gates, sending us all scurrying.
The staff was professional and friendly. The waits were short on boarding.
The flight was over an hour late. The baggage reclaim belt broke down, which delayed our arrival at the target even more.

I think this airline has an attention to detail and level of service which surpasses most other airlines. Whilst remaining competitive these factors make traveling with Finnair a far more comfortable and attractive proposition for me. In addition, Helsinki airport must be one of the best around.
I have a trip from Manchester to Riyadh and I have a stop in Istanbul. Manchester plane was delayed one hour, no problem, but I arrived in Istanbul at the right time and the gate was open I gave them my ticket. They told me that the sestem moved your seat to the second plane but now the plane is open. ? I waited 6 hours at Ataturk airport and had a working meeting I could not attend
Everything was perfect!!! I have no remarks!!!
The flight was on time, the food was good. Nice selection for onboard entertainment. The plane was very clean.
1. The boarding process at Istanbul airport was horrible. No one could speak or understand english. My father was on a wheelchair and he was the last one to be boarded on the plane! There was so much confusion - some people wanted me to go separately from him, others wanted him to walk down the stairs on his own, etc. etc.
There were hardly any announcements for people with special needs. Generally they are allowed to board first as they need more time to settle. I could barely find overhead bin space for his stuff.
2. There were several remote controls broken on the plane. A lot of people had to suffer through a non working entertainment screen.
3. One of the hostess was hardly listening to anything I had to say. She seemed to be in so much of a hurry and had a very bad attitude.
I paid extra fee for extra bagage which was tv and i paid insurance my tv broke and no one responces for it
Clean airplane, friendly crew, no rush, nice snacks for a short one hour flight. Just generally a positive experience.
Boarding was a breeze and the staff were lovely. Online check was very simple and easy to navigate.
The amount of extras you have to click no to while checking in online.
Helpful and smiling cabin crew.
Nice seats, comfortable.
Again, no aisle seat for SkyTeam Gold member.
Also, my baggage was lost. First bag arrived a day late, second after I had left Billund and it was six days before the bag with my clothes reached me. I was told I will have 100 euro credit for clothing, but in the winter and for 6 days, this was not even close to the amount I needed for clothing and necessities, to have my time here.
