Cons: Everything about the stay was perfect--location, rooms, breakfast, service. All outstanding.

Cons: You get the worst of the two worlds, old and new. The facilities are old, and oddly for a historical hotel, quite charmless. The rooms are dark, the bedding cheap, and the room furniture straight out of the seventies. Although "run-down" would be an exaggeration, the hotel seriously needs a face lift, a bit more comfort, and some taste in its decorations (throwing sloppily a hodge-podge of old-looking furniture doesn't really do it, nor holding on to carpets that haven't been changed in twenty years.) The amenities are next to non-existent (for example, the hotel does not have a restaurant.) You obviously cannot expect a historical hotel to have the same level of comfort and the same amenities as a modern one. But would it be too much to ask that a five-star try? You pay for five-star and you get a three-star.

Cons: Couldn't find one fault with this hotel. Would be delighted to find a reason to go back.

Cons: Evening front desk staff which blatantly pushes guests to restaurants which pay them for referrals.

Cons: Parking garage sign needs to be more visible.

Cons: Dirty and smelly spa, bad room service also room service people didn't speak English. They parked our car without telling us that there is cost for parking

Cons: When i got there they told me that the floor my room was in had water damage, and that they didn't have a room for us. The Holiday Inn was very nice, but would have been cheaper than what I already paid for this room in advance.

Cons: Other than just walking around the neighborhood, you do have to take the metro to see anything. However, the beautifully tiled metro entrance is just steps away from the front door, and it's a very beautiful metro station, So really no complaints

Cons: I booked this hotel because it advertised airport transportation. This is not true; is fraudulent advertising; so I would not stay there again.

Cons: If you have a car it is hunt for parking or pay for the underground.

Cons: Elevator would not go to the correct floor. Worse elevator I have ever experienced. In bar got an orange juice. 12 ounces for 3 euros. Same server at dinner 6 ounces for 3 euros.

Cons: Room equipment must be change with new.

Cons: Management needs to upgrade the level of service, and amenities. The reception staff seem lost in their own world doing their thing, seem disorganized, oblivious of guests around them and lack common courtesy. The bathroom - so tiny and in need of upgrades and serious plumbing repair. The bathtub - so small, literally half-size and very dangerous - very difficult to take a shower. Is this standard in Lisbon? TV is not the flat panel type but small, old tube type.

Cons: Not a real exciting location. But, close enough to the metro to haul a suitcase (about seven blocks from Marques de Pombal).

Cons: I booked this hotel as it said - close to airport and Shuttle service, which usually means free shuttle. Well, it wasn't free, had to be pre-arranged, and ended up doubling the cost of the hotel room to stay here one night, for taxi to and from the airport. and was like 30 minutes from the airport.
