New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) is the home base of Air India. This makes it ideal for you to catch domestic connecting flights to smaller cities that don't have international airports. The airline comprehensively covers the National Capital Region of India, so it's easy to reach these local airports from here.
If you choose Air India as your airline carrier and book Economy Class, you'll be offered an upgrade by email soon after you've made your booking. It's always a good idea to take advantage of this, as you'll enjoy a more comfortable flight that won't cost too much when converted from local currency to pounds.
Yes, depending on the airline. Vistara, offers the most complete services, as with their Vistara Youngstar program, the airline offers escort to unaccompanied minors from ages 5 up to 12. Specially trained staff will accompany the child through all airport procedures. You can also find a range of options at the nearby Aerocity, which is easily accessed via the Delhi Metro System. Here there are some more budget-friendly hotels, including the Hotel Port View and the Hotel Heron.
While Pune Airport is not large, it can get very busy. To get away from the hustle and bustle, you can relax in the airline passenger lounge on the first floor of the terminal. Entry to this passenger lounge can be bought at the door or accessed with business or first class tickets. Here you can enjoy drinks and food at the attached restaurant or just relax in the comfortable chairs.
After your flight, you will pass through duty-free stores on the way to the arrivals area, where you will have a last chance to purchase some duty-free snacks, drinks or beauty products before leaving the airport. However, in the arrivals area of Terminal 3, you can also purchase last-minute travel supplies at Gute Reise, snacks or books at WH Smith or plasters and medicine at the Guardian Pharmacy.
If you need to travel from your arrival terminal to bus stops or train stations, you may need to take advantage of the complimentary shuttle bus. This bus travels every 20-minutes between terminals 1 and 3. This can otherwise be walked by following the signs if you want to stretch your legs.

They need to be more accommodative when folks have a connecting flight and that too under the same ownership.
One of the On board crew misbehaved and services were poor
Flight was delayed in total one and half hours that was typical old Air India .. So avoid new Airindia with same old reputation. Make sure flights are in time .
plane is clean and well taken care of cabin crew
The Airlines is really professional and flights are almost on time in respect of departure and arrivals are concerned.
The trip was booked on a Premium Economy, I was moved to standard economy with no compensation. When I boarded the flight crew had already made someone else sit in my place who were reluctant to give me my seat. Quite a few people were found not wearing masks and crew did nothing about it. No choice of food in spite of me with a standard economy ticket that includes the option of food.
Pathetic ground staff and customer care. I paid for an upgrade 3 weeks before the journey, and I was downgraded with no reason.
No Food, No beverages, only water, and there is no information about this sudden change
Comfort and safety. At least packaged food could be served to Business Class passengers.
Liked the XL seat, but didn't like the check-in process at the Delhi Airport gate 5B. Though I had paid for the priority boarding, there was mad rush at the gate and allowed whoever with might pushed in. Then at the gate we were picked up for compulsory checkin the hand baggage as the flight was full. There were any with more than 2 bags and massive cabin baggage. But they didn't dare to stop them.. Overall a very badly managed check-in process.
On time Arrival and Departure despite budget airline. In side the aircraft, seats and floor carpet is very clean and neat
Bag check is not as smooth as can be at CST Terminal 2. Passengers are advised to print out and attach boarding passes at home in a bid to avoid crowding at self-service kiosks given the Covid-19 public health crisis. However attendants then say tags need to be re-printed at the counter as the ones provided by the airline at the airport are more secure. While the check-in process is aided by the helpful staff, Indigo Airlines could do a better job of providing more self-service kiosks and clearer guidance during the online purchase process. Suggest calling ahead to confirm situation on the ground.
More options for food would have made this perfect but overall great experience
CHAIRS NOT COFARTABLE AND MY BAG WHICH IN LAGUGE NOT COME ON TIME COME IN LAST WHEN BELT GOSE CLOSE AND AFTER THAT MY NEW BAG NOT IN GOOD CONITION FULL OF REPED ITS WAS REALLY VERY BED EXP AND I DONT WANT TO PERFE NEXT TIME
Flight was on time, clear announcement while boarding, seats and upkeep of flight was good. Only improvement could possibly be: - Announcement from pilot was missing e.g. usual greetings, travel time, destination weather etc.
The flight was 4 hours late and the ground staff was terrible.
Fly has been canceled 3 hours before departure. That happens after 2 delayed departures. No automatic compensation. Spicejet refused to give us compensation form. Bad service.
Landing at Delhi IGI AIRPORT was not smooth. It made us bit nervous. Then the rest was ok. Staff and the crew are very efficient.
One of the worst flying experiences: 1. Flight was over 2 hours delayed with no one providing any reason or updates. 2. Started boarding the plane with over an hour before takeoff. 3. Cabin crew arrived from another flight and had no idea why the passengers were so pissed off. 4. Evasive explanations for the delay - paperwork still being done/aircraft is being fueled etc. 5. Overhead storage space was many rows “behind” the “luxury” SpiceMax seats… Idiots! Had to fight the throngs of impatient disembarkers to retrieve luggage. 6. Non-functioning wifi, while crew is announcing that everyone should log on and take advantage of the wonderful entertainment options! Haha! What clowns! SpiceJet is probably the most incompetent organization from top to bottom. Total nincompoops!
Our flight was delayed by 2 hours from the departure time. Pilot could not land in Delhi while all other flights landed in time. Flight was taken to Jaipur. Asking a glass of water at Jaipur, air hostess told me to wait and reaching at Delhi she declared that there is no water in the flight. Condition of wash room was horrible. When a long time, the flight was waiting at Jaipur, at least arrangements of water & cleaning of wash room could be done. Instead the air hostess served some peanuts & a small fruity which was meaning less. Flight landed in Delhi after 3::00 hours in the morning..
air conditioning was not upto mark, flight delayed more than an hour
They cancelled the Kandla- Delhi flight without notice, did not provide me to use other airlines. Their own airlines connection would have rendered me to miss my international flight Delhi to EWR . I spent 5600+ , but got the nastyjet
