Cons: "Everything that could have gone wrong with my flights, went wrong. On my way from LA to Raleigh (through Atlanta), I was affected by the weather conditions at Atlanta. I understand that the weather is beyond Delta's scope of control, but customer service is not. I had to wait in line at LAX for 8 hours to even get information on what had happened, and what solutions were available. The customer service call center was collapsed, and at the airport counters at one point there was ONLY ONE DELTA REPRESENTATIVE serving a line of more than 100 upset customers. This IS Delta's fault, and it is unacceptable. This definitely was under Delta's control, but in order to save a few dollars in overtime for emergency staff Delta was willing to let its customers make terribly long lines, miss their flights, their connections and consequently their commitments. It is disappointing to observe how Delta believes that a few dollars saved on extra staff and emergency measures can offset the irreparable long term damage to its business due to upset customers. My way back from Raleigh to Los Angeles was also a disaster. Without any type of explanation and nothing more than an email announcing the change, the nonstop flight I bought was replaced by a 1-stop flight with connection in Atlanta. This was NOT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. There is a reason I paid a premium for a nonstop flight, and Delta did not hesitate in providing me with a less valuable product without any explanation or refund. Delta prioritizes its operational metrics - an obsession to fill and overbook its capacity - over its customers' experience, one again under the foolish belief that short term savings in any way offset the long term damage of disappointed and alienated customers. I will NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN. I will do whatever I can to transmit my experience to everyone I know. At a time where major airline carriers are in the spotlight due to abusive practices (i.e. the United passenger case), I still find hope in knowing that alternatives such as Southwest still put their customers first, over the ethereal benefits that a few-dollar savings in operational expenses can provide."

Pros: "Food was ok and they were pretty generous with the alcohol which I needed since the guy in front of me had a seat which allowed him to lean almost all the way back. He ignored several of my comments and none of the staff had anything to say about this even though it was pretty obvious."
Cons: "Too cramped.The guy in front of me was laying in my lap the whole trip I have short legs and my legs were hitting the seat in front. Flight left late causing problem all along the way i.e. lost luggage for three days. Nobody was particularly helpful or knew what was going on. I had to make several calls just to have somebody find the luggage. We had to go all over the place just to find somebody to give us new connecting flights. The airport there is a disorganized mess which is beyond words. Nobody wanted to take responsibility for the loss between British air and Aer Lingus and my impression over the phone was that nobody cared one wit what happened."

So spend the night At airport floor with two kids & seven people total in party . No compensation was given at all . BA is the only carrier that charge money to pick up seat assignment in advance more 24 hrs ."

Even if ticket was suspended why it was not informed me to take any pro active action, why I had to wait in long queue to know that my ticket was suspende, IS IT NOT RESPONSIBILITY OF BA ???"

I had a long flight to London from Delhi already so I was too tired to immediately realize what he had done. It only occurred to me when I boarded the flight. I had booked a premium seat in advance and had paid $175 extra for it. He basically moved me to a regular economy seat at the back without asking me or refunding me. That's fraud."

Pros: "I was seated on the upper deck of a 747 (63K) and had plenty of room. The cabin was quiet even though the plane was full. Service was excellent. I enjoyed the food. Cabin crew were great."
Cons: "The entertainment system was old and didn't have the selection of programs available on newer aircraft. Flight map was not at all detailed. Time for an upgrade BA! Boarding was a bit of mess. BA has so many different categories of who gets to board first that it got to be very confusing. People couldn't understand if it was their turn or not and people kept being turned away to wait their turn. It would be far easier if people were given a number from 1-5 like Air Canada and they call those numbers which are also printed on your boarding pass. I was flying business class and I think it a terrible cheek that they charge extra (in my case $129-$159 EACH WAY) to select your seat in advance. That's insane considering what I have already spent on the business class ticket. Seems like a money grab to me. I usually fly Air Canada, and this high extra charge will probably make me think twice about flying BA in the future."

British Airlines found our bags in 2 days but 5 days later that's a week later the web check of our file says bags ready for Delivery and call help line can not talk to the airport to find out the problem."

Despite the fact that I'd checked with BA the previous night that yes, I was registered to have a gluten-free meal (as of two weeks beforfehand), the flight attendants had no record of this and no GF meal had been included for me. Entertainment = faded screens, bad touch screen interface, crashed nd needed to be rebooted at one point, touch screen minimally responsive, a shockingly small number of choices. Did not have wireless or a usb port, but fortunately there was a universal AC outlet and I had my wall charger along so that I could spend most of the flight using my iPad to read. I'm especially displease with the food, boarding process, and entertainment considering my boyfriend's and my seats were Club World seats I'd paid for (rather than receiving them as a reward). On the bright side, the lie-flat seats saved me from days of post-flight pain, so it could have been worse. Not pleased overall, and the next time I travel internationally, I'll probably chooseanother airline if the prices only differ by a few hundred dollars."

Asked the flight attendand if it is ok for passengers to have a party like this. He told me off. He said "if you have a problem you tell them". I asked if it is a safety issue standing on the corridor like so. He told me, "I am fine with it"
Pros: "Having not flown BA for some years it's easy to get a fresh perspective. The A380 is a good plane that holds a lot of folks. Getting them on & off can take some doing. BA seems to have figured it out. The flight was effortless, the food and service were unobtrusive and quality. Overall a pleasant way to spend the hours from Heathrow to Vancouver in either direction."

Of all the types of food to serve, leaving Vancouver, why not showcase great Canadian seafood or cooking? Everyone going TO India will soon get to eat amazing local Indian food, so why risk making poor-quality imitation Indian food?"
