After all that wait I was asked to sign an Indemnity form stating that I'll be responsible for any penalties whatsoever from Dubai Immigration if denied entry in dubai. The staff don't even know the rules and have behaved so dumb while dealing with passenger and have zero knowledge about document checks. Either the airline needs to get them more trained before getting them on the floor or needs to take strict action against them. Because wasting my time at the Mumbai airport was not so entertaining for me and the airline did not even seem apologetic about it. Vistara has hired some really unprofessional and uneducated staff at their Mumbai station."

All Indian airlines are super cheap and low quality--with Vistara at least I did not get pushed around during boarding and getting-off. Traveling by air in India in economy class is like traveling in a greyhound bus. If you are from the US and 30+ year old avoid the Economy class."

Anyway we missed flight from Delhi to Amritsar. We bought new one way ticket from the airport that evening. We were 5 adults and one baby visiting Golden temple from USA."

Cons: "Three things : 1) The crew seemed to be relatively inexperienced and just out of college. I observed a couple of informal communication exchanges from their part. But the crew were helpful and tried their best to provide the best customer experience. 2) The boarding process normally starts with business and premium class and then followed by economy. For my flight however the economy class was boarded first while the business class passengers were kept stranded waiting in a separate line. This also reflected the inexperience of the crew which handled the boarding. 3) Vistara was my connecting flight from Pune to Delhi followed by British airways flight from Delhi to London. Though the flights were booked under one ticket, the representative did not checkin my luggage throughout the journey due to which I had to collect my baggage at Delhi and check it in again. The representative explained that vistara still didn't have alliances with most airlines allowing luggage to be checked in till final destination. This is another front on which they can improve."

They said they’d check and get back with us. When they did they said the additional charge for 15kg was more than the ticket itself!! For more than 15 up to 30kg it was nearly 3 times as much! This really felt like a scam! We asked to cancel the flight and were told we could, but there was no guarantee of any refund. We said to cancel it anyway. Later I was told there would be no refund. I assumed it had been canceled and yet I got emails telling me it was time to check in, etc. And then I’m asked to review my flight! So, between Indigo and Kiwi.com I felt I got terrible service. I will not use either of them again. In the end we got a flight for the original amount including 15kg of checked baggage from a different website and on a different airline that left at the exact same. There was a reasonable charge per 5 kg over the15 allowed."

Cons: "When you order ticket through flightnetwork.com, apparently you pay to them, but they pay to the airline. In India, some airlines like Spicejet asks you if you actually carry the credit card by which it was paired to the airline. If not, the airline will make you pay the entire fare again. The flightnetwork gets refunded, and you will be paying for it twice!! Watch out!"

Pros: "Upgraded to Spice max. So front row seats, priority check in, fast track luggage and preboked meals."
Cons: "They only had 2 options for meals on board. And both were bad. With 20 options in their menu, they had kept only 2 options and both were bad. Those too were only snack items."

Cons: "Check-In in Bangalore was a long tedious process. Boarding process was alright. Onboard service was at par with indigo and go-air. Luggage came out late at Pune airport. This experience was good enough to never fly spice jet again."

Cons: "They cancelled our flught from Jaisalmer to Delhi. Spicejet is the only airline that flies Jaisalmer. We were ledt arranged in the city where No hotels were available and Spicejet offered to cancel the flight and refund our money. They cancelled our tickets and am yet to receive the refund . We had to hire a cab from Jaisalmer to Dekhi. A 17 hours drive. No compensation from spicejet. Never bank on Spicejet."

Cons: "I was disappointed to first learn that my flight booking did not include ANY checked bags. It was not shown in any fare comparisons. So I again logged in with KIWI.com and added one checked bags for equivalent of Rupees 400 for the flight. When I was checking in for the flight that, the agent told me that they have no record of my paying the baggage fee, I showed him the receipt that showed the inclusion of check baggage. He was rude, refused to call the manager and I had to pay another 400 rupees in cash. I want KIWI or you to refund my baggage fee paid by my credit card or I will take up the case with my credit card company, I will not recommend any one to do business with both KIWI.com and Spicejet.."

Pros: "Not a lot. . They served drinks but 15 mins before landing when pilot was about to start his landing announcement. The crew did try hard though."

The 15kg weight allowance for stowed baggage (that no one told me about) but I did like the way one could pay for excess at the check in desk. strange that refreshments were served 15 mins before arrival exactly when the pilot started his landing announcement on both legs I travelled. On the longer leg they were also offered earlier it is true, so it seemed especially odd to serve again then."

Cons: "On a flight that costs roughly 9,000 INR, for one way, it is completely unreasonable for them not to provide food. Granted, it was booked at the last minute, but as a token of good will for the amount of money we are putting in, they should provide food for them."

They could do better in some regional movies like Bengali and Punjabi and add some latest hollywood movies around 6 months to 1 yr old. Latest hindi movie selection was Good."
Cons: "The screen quality was very very bad. Neither the touchscreen nor the remote worked. I literally had to pound on the screen to make a selection rather than a gentle touch. The crew tried fixing by resetting it from some control they had but didn’t work. I somehow managed to play a movie by pounding on screen since I had nothing to do on a 16 hr flight from SFO to Delhi. I am a very frequent international traveler and have never seen a similar problem or issue with any other airline."

Boarding was a little messy, mainly due to impatient Indian passengers who won't let other fellow passengers board without a fight for no reason."
Cons: "1. While checking, the front desk person was absolutely miserable. We had a couple of baggage with 25 kilos and others less than 23 kilos. However, she would not let out baggage go until we evenly distribute all of them and make them all less than 24 kilos. We had to open all our bags and suitcases in the airport and redistribute. Quite a nightmare. So for future passengers, if you get someone like her good luck. 2. The Boeing-777 cargo is pretty old. So though it has everything still there is a touch of shabbiness all over the plane. They are not comparable to the top of the line Dreamliners that AI runs quite a bit. 3. Though the entertainment system was good, however, some of the remotes or audio outputs were not working well. Like my audio output was not functional at all. I changed the headphone and it still did not work. They suggested to use my own audio bud, however, I did not have one. 3. Limited beverage choice."

Cons: "1. Very bad entertainment system. Unable to use entertainment system with remote or by direct finger clicks. The delay between clicks and the action response on screen is too huge...these look like systems from last century...please upgrade !!!! 2. Crew members are not courteous. They ignore requests made by passengers. Looks like they just hate all passengers in their hearts."

Cons: "Cabin crew was mediocre at best. Their attentiveness was lacking at the finest of moments. The food options were unappealing and lacked in variety. I was unsure if there was a difference between a breakfast meal and a dinner meal. The cabin crew also did not have enough meat options for all the passengers and did not provide anything as much as an apology for such. The worst part of the journey were the other passengers and their lack of consideration for those around them. If the cabin crew were more attentive and informed passengers to return to their seats and keep the aisles clear there potentially would have been less of an issue."

Pros: "The plane given in the flight, Dreamliner 787. Food and service, everything was beyond what we expect in domestic flights. Recommended a thousand times over other domestic Indian airlines"

Pros: "1 hour check in at Kolkata to Delhi, at first wanted us to recheck bags at Delhi. Finally, bags checked through, but needed to get boarding passes in Delhi. In Delhi, 80 minutes at the desk before boarding passes. They suggested we didn't have return tickets, and kept asking for more information. And this was at business class desk! Finally took 4 of them at the desk to take care of it, and then we were so late couldn't get seats we wanted. Unbelievably bad! Beware!"

Cons: "Passengers where angry. Air India did not show respect to us!! Boarding was a mass. They sad the system went down. From London to Newark the delayed was 2 hours!!"

Pros: "I liked the movies offered. The food was stale. The bathrooms were not clean. They charged 100$ for 2lb over weight of 1 bag, and additionally they insisted us to check in the diaper bag for a fee of 100$ more. This is not the way you make money. This is a family unfriendly Airline. They told me that since you are already getting the priviledge of checkkng in a stroller, you got to pay 100$ for the excess 2 pounds. But all airlines allow strollers to be checked in for free.. how does that determine the luggage restrictionfor us?"
