The flight was close to on time. My suitcase was not loaded in Bangkok and was delivered 24 hours later.
Cons: "A comfort kit on a ultra long haul flight goes a long way"
Cons: "Rather long wait at business check-in, friendliness there ok, on board service slow with the champagne, old aircraft with old configuration of seats, nothing really bad, but it's not like this that you win an airline of the year award!"
Pros: "The crew was very polite and very helpful. Boarding process was smooth and easy, however, the Singapore airport has security checks at every gate prior to boarding. This meant that after clearing this security process at the gate, bathrooms were not available until after boarding the flight and drinking water stations were not easily found in the secure boarding area. The aircraft was comfortable, menus were distributed early so that meal options could be made with full information in advance. The food was good and made available at routine intervals."
Cons: "On a 14 hour flight, staying well hydrated is very critical and difficult. It would have been nice for the crew to make more frequent trips through the cabin to offer just water refills to keep passengers hydrated and reduce plastic cup usage."
Pros: "One of several preferred airlines when flying to Asia. Really enjoy their service, and it's wonderful to wake up to many beauties in view!"
Pros: "crew handled the tough crowd well, but were not extremely hospitable"
Cons: "food was disgusting"
Cons: "5 crying babies on a red eye. Don’t know if that can be prevented."
Pros: "Lie-flat seats in business class"
Cons: "4 hrs delay due to failure of Singapore Airlines to have a working plane on site at the appointed time. Even worse: chaotic deplaning with one crew member telling passengers to deplane and another yelling at them in the bridge for doing so. A mess of lines trying to get a new boarding pass for a rebooked missed connection—at the front of the line the agent said oh, you need to wait in this other line. Agents had no clue where to direct passengers and gave incorrect directions that necessitated more waiting. No updates to new flight time in the business class lounge. Once the flight was in the air, service was terrible. Attendants would ask for orders, then never bring them or bring the wrong thing."
Pros: "Wow they did not disappoint flight attendants Overdid themselves with amazing service planes are super clean and entertainment systems are state of the art great job Singapore Airlines can’t wait to fly with you again you definitely earned your #1 ranking"
Pros: "(Previous PE comparisons: Turkish AL, Air NZ, SAS) Ease of check-in, on-time dep/arr, crew attention and responsiveness, seating within the range to be expected of this class."
Cons: "Plane condition: Cosmetic plastic panel below monitor and seat back pocket on Seat 31E fell off when foot rest was lowered; had previously been secured by adhesive tape. Panel removed by crew. In-flight entertainment system: Persistent intermittent loss of sound while listening to movie or TV program. Food: Tried to use "Book the Cook" feature touted by Singapore's website. Was unable to get on site for that purpose. The last try a message appeared (late September) that site was being "rebuilt." On the flight, there was no menu of choices; we were offered 3 vaguely worded choices which boiled down to beef, chicken or vegetables. Those appeared in not particularly appetizing forms and combinations--P.S., we like east and southeast Asian cooking and had just spent 3 weeks in Japan. Failure to provide information about possible delays due to WRG deplaning location at LAX: Although we are frequent fliers to and from LAX, we'd never heard of the WRG. It would have been helpful if the crew had informed us upon arrival that there could possibly be a wait on the plane as buses were used to transport us approximately 1/2 mile to TBIT. Generally: We chose Singapore because of its reputation for excellence. Belying the name of the class, both Turkish AL and Air NZ treated Premium Economy passengers as "junior" business class. Singapore treated us as coach with a roomier cabin and seating pitch."
Increase the number of available films, including variety. All other aspects were great.
Pros: "Flight was very comfortable."
Cons: "Nothing really. It is just hard work doing such a marathon flight."
Pros: "The crew was so pleasant. They greeted everyone with grace and respect. Their customer service was wonderful."
Cons: "Everything was great. I will choose to fly Thai Airways whenever I get the chance to."
Pros: "Crew were great"
Cons: "Food in economy could be more Thai and tasty but nicely served and efficient"
Pros: "The made it easy to travel with a young child"
Pros: "Nice plane. Seats fairly comfortable. Pleasant crew."
Cons: "No boarding organization (board rear seats first), mass chaos. Seafood spaghetti should be eliminated as menu item."
Pros: "crew was pleasant."
Cons: "very cramped seats in economy class had to take a bus and walk up the stairs to get to the plane medicocre meal (but it was a short flight)"
Pros: "Nice staff"
Cons: "The A330 was old, no charging ports for chairs, limited leg room and the entertainment system was a struggle to use"
Pros: "Airline and cabin crew services are great. Comfortable seats. Nice perfume available in the toilets."
Cons: "Board was troublesome and wasted alot of time as the tube was not used.had to walk down a flight of stairs then wait for mini bus (with very limited seats), then take it for around 5-7mins drive to reach the plane. Then wait for the previous minibus's crowd to clear then walk another flight of stairs up the plane :( I can accept this from a budget airline but not a commercial airline at a usual well-equipped airport especially when it's at its own home country."
Pros: "The B-class seats are fine."
Cons: "Crew did not offer blankets or earbuds. Dry flight! No beer, wine, or spirits at any price. I was astonished."
In flight entertainment system including wifi were down and passengers got tortured for the 16 hours flight without any of these. Food was spoiled as well for the first meal provided but second meal was Ok. Overall a horrible experience which was not at all expected for such a long haul flight which was expected to be THE most memorable part of my planned trip for family.
Pros: "A great flight with friendly staff, comfy seats, good food, and great inflight entertainment."
Cons: "The international transfer process at Manila airport was the worst I’ve ever seen. They had about 20 people standing at a desk for about 90 minutes with no explanation as to what was going on. In that time, nobody was released to go to their gate, but they wouldn’t explain what was happening. There were about 10 airport staff standing there, mostly doing nothing. The process was inefficient, to say the least. There was no place to sit, no toilets, no order to any of it. In most international airports, after you deplane, you just walk to your next gate. There seemed to be no logical reason for that awful experience. It would have been much faster to go through customs and then go through security, walking directly to the gate."
Pros: "Seats were very comfortable and so were the entertainment options"
Cons: "The food was really sub-par in terms of quality. Also the it took over an hour for bags to come through which if we are flying business is a little sub-par"
Pros: "The seat was not super comfortable but the crew was really lovely and so helpful!"
Cons: "More padding on the seat would have been nice"
Pros: "Good movie selection, good meals and great crew"
Cons: "Next time I will book early to get the business class"
Cons: "This airline will cancel your flight and blame it on customs in the US - the truth is the flight was undersold and they did not want to travel with so few passengers."
Pros: "Hardware was excellent. One of the most comfortable First Class seats for sure."
Cons: "CX first class is designed more for individual travelers so for couples who want to sit beside one another there will be an aisle in between them. The Boston BA lounge is horrific and depressing so it should be avoided."
Pros: "Crew is very good and efficient, generally very friendly and helpful. Seats are fairly spacious and comfortable. The flight was only slightly delayed. Food and drinks are quite readily available. Meal quality is nothing amazing, but it's definitely not bad."
Pros: "I love the crew, I even didn't have chance to say what I need but I got the one I want"
Cons: "N/A"
Pros: "crew was courteous and highly helpful. food was good, served hot."
Me and my Partner were in seats 6A and 6B. (Which we paid a premium for). Unfortunately the person is seat 6C was large and because of his size my Partner was squashed to the point of discomfort and unable to sit properly. We requested to be moved to some empty seats and two hours into the flight the crew moved us. Perhaps it’s time airlines began checking passenger sizes to ensure they don’t encroach into fellow passengers seating space!
Cons: "Flight delayed. Please be punctual if can’t be earlier."
Pros: "Air Crew was polite. Ground crew was the slowest and most inefficient group of people I've witnessed. There'd be 3 people working, but 2 of them would be talking to each other, letting the queues build up."
Cons: "Ground experience was pretty terrible at the airport. Most likely I'd avoid flying through here again."
Pros: "Nothing. We had to sit on the runway for an 1 hour 40 mins. Staff didn’t even give away water, you had to purchase it... outrageous"
Pros: "Not sure if I have much trust in the crew. Most of the female crew would walk past passengers who had their seats reclined or in the toilets and other situations and wouldn’t notice (during take off and landing) and the guy would come past later and do her job for them. Ground staff in Bangkok"
Pros: "Friendly crew. Toilets kept clean. Nice ambience with the cabin lighting."
Cons: "My seat had a broken recliner button. Seat would recline but not stay reclined. If I sat up, seat would come up with me."
Pros: "Head rest not comfortable. Short distance okay not long one."
Cons: "Plane is old i think. Take off and landing time plane some shaky and sound not pleasant."
Pros: "I hope never to fly Scoot again."
Cons: "Extremely rude and uncaring staff. I hate not being booked through with boarding passes. You have to wait in line at every stop, go through security and wait to get your ongoing boarding pass. The Scoot transfer people in Singapore are the most rude people I've ever met."
Pros: "The Business Class bed was nice"
Cons: "The whole experience was terrible. Scoot decided to - delay flight by 45 minutes without telling me. I discovered this by checking myself - chartered a Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-200 and then reduced then quality of every Business Class service (no entertainment system videos or music, no alcohol or soft drinks - only water, only Economy class food. There was no apology from Scoot (who are a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines) and none from Singapore Airlines. There was no suggestion of any refunds or other compensation. Truly a disgrace. I will never fly on either Singapore Airlines or Scoot airline again. I am seeking further compensation through Australian Fair Trading and through Class Action Lawyers (as this impacted every passenger on this flight, not just Business Class)"
Pros: "Good price. Was on time, seats were comfortable, helpful staff"
Cons: "No use of headphones 30 minutes before take off and arrival"
As usual...the airline tries to pack as many bodies as possible on the plane. Very little leg room...although the flight was so short there was no inflight food or beverage...you could hardly put the tray table down if there was food/beverage service.
Airplane broke down on the runway and we sat on the runway for 4 hours.
This was the worst flight (domestic or international) I have taken till date. Check-in and boarding experience at the airport were fine. I understand its a budget airline, still some basic stuff was missing. It's an international flight of almost 5 hours duration however, not even water was served to the passengers. If you need water, you have to go to the Crew Station and ask them for water. I asked him to fill up my own water bottle to which he denied and instead told me that I can have 1 Cup of water. When I informed, that we are total 4 family members needing water, he asked me to bring everyone to the Crew Station. Which I really don't understand. The cabin AC was not working or the temperature was kept at such a high temperature that I (and many others) were literally sweating. When I requested the cabin crew to reduce the temperature, my request was ignored twice. Finally I again had to go the front of the aircraft and ask the crew member to set it to 23. Then it was adjusted and we felt a little better. Overall a disappointing experience. They need to improve on lot of things while still keeping the cost low.
Maybe there was something wrong with pressure sensor or something. my ear was very uncomfortable and many babies were crying like hell. It happened during landing.
Ground crew clueless, delayed flight gate change without communication. Horrible experience. Will not fly Vietjet again.
Everything seems good so far, only thing is delay...2nd time flying with vietjet and 2nd time got delay :(
No in flight entertainment, no food, not even drinking water, uncleaned flights, smelly bathrooms, and above all no baggage allowance, they charged us 53700 yen for the baggages.
No, comment Me and my family at the boarding gate more than 30 min early but the flight delayed and they still leave without us.
Cons: "We left 1. 5 hours late! The only food on the plane was prepackaged chemical foods and the only vegan option was a porridge they pour water over ($2)."
Pros: "N/A"
Cons: "Get more Customer Services training for the better and for the next level of international services provider...."
