Pros: Boarding and landing
Cons: Food should be made With less spice more blend.
Pros: Inflight Entertainment and seats.
Pros: Flight attendant were amazing. My wife was not well and we ask for blanket. Cabin crew provided us with one.
Cons: In flight food selection should have some variety for three hours flight. Should significantly improve Sri Lanka Lounge as the place was not the neat and clean, as it was run by one staff alone. Food in the lounge were sitting for hours and not freshly made.
Pros: Acceptable but not exceptional as expected
Cons: Unfortunately the it was a bumpy ride as most of the time the seat belt sign was on and crew had to discontinue services for a while. This was beyond airlines control. The crew did not distribute the Sri lankan landing cards onboard. This caused some confusions for first time travellers as they had to cone off the immigration queue and went to pick the card up and to complete. Some foreigners were unhappy about it.
Pros: Uniform of the crew is nice.
Cons: The service specifically the transfer service. They weren’t helpful at all. I’m so turned off how the staff treated me. It is also not clear that I need to book a hotel thru the airline during my 13 hours transit. I was thrown back & forth like a ball. No help was done. How come an airline imposed such rule?! Worse part during flight I feel cold & asked for a blanket. We reached destination No blanket ever!! Not recommended. First & last!!!
Pros: Relaxing Cabin crew were awesome
Cons: Not that I can think if
Pros: As usual Emirates deliver a very good prduct to be relied upon where ever and whenever you travel.
Cons: The lunch was not very hot.
Pros: Everything was excellent.
Pros: Great value
Cons: Seat was not comfortable. Push back was not working
Pros: in flight entertainment
Cons: dozens of infants all screaming and scattered across the whole plane food was strangely not good at all although we had a vegetarian meal pre booked
Pros: Impossible to enjoy a flight you didn't choose and were forced to fly on due to a schedule change, especially when the flights you'd booked had much better timing for a fixed teacher's holiday schedule. Avoid Oman Air unless you are sadistic and enjoy forced flight changes and no compensation. As I was forced to change to a flight to one arriving at 03.10 with my work starting at 06.00, I tried (and failed due to a lack of space and fidgety neighbour) to sleep all the flight to be fresh and professional for my work. The booked flight which was forcibly cancelled got me home 9pm the night before work. Oman Air refused a suggestion to upgrade me to business class so I could try and sleep.
Cons: I am a teacher. I can't choose my holiday times. I get three fixed weeks in summer. In both 2017 + 2018 Oman Air changed their schedule forcing me to change my flights. I was out of pocket for a small amount - they refused to pay the $27.60. I was to arrive home at 9pm for an 06.00 start to work they changed my flight so I arrived at 04.00. I asked for an upgrade to business class to try and sleep. They ignored the request. They instead sent me a copy of the small print saying that they were allowed to change anyone's flights and give zero compensation if the 'client' is informed two weeks in advance. I will avoid Oman Air from now on, even if they seem to offer the best times to fly.
Pros: Service with a smile and a more humane approach would be good
Cons: Same hygiene and quality standards across flight on all sectors
Cons: The entertainment system was horrible.
Pros: The entertainment kept the kids happy
Cons: The food- ran out of options- I’m not vegetarian but they had no options at all. The crew- not particularly engaged or attentive The drinks- poor selection, warm Our luggage came out damaged and the airline would accept no liability
Cons: The airplane is old!
Pros: Really good food the and crew on the plane was nice.
Cons: In the Delhi airport we never interacted with anyone from Sri Lankan Airlines because a third party was contracted to work the counters, check us in, issue boarding passes, etc... These workers were all maybe 20 years old and possessed what seemed like zero training to do their job at all. They never had any answers and just smiled while saying “I don’t know” a million times. We were corralled and moved and waited hours while they ran around doing nothing.
Pros: The seats and Inflight entertainment was excellent.
Cons: Crew ran out of food choices despite the fact that I was seated near the front of the aircraft. Crew came out for the first service and didn’t serve again for the rest of the flight.
Pros: Very friendly and attentive crew. Good entertainment options.
Cons: Business class seat is OK, not great - fine for 3.5 hour flight
Pros: It was all positives from the time we check in until we arrived in Kindon.
Cons: They distributed the UK landing card long after meals served and most passengers were a sleep. It would be good if they could distribute the UK landing cards straight after or before the meals.
Pros: The cabin crew were friendly and attentive, I was quite impressed with the food, and they served a good white wine. I was happy to find an excellent choice of movies, tv shows and music with a simple, intuitive system for playing them.
Cons: There were problems in the bathroom. All the paper towels were in a heap on the floor, and the sink was blocked. I told the stewardess, and she just shrugged. Obviously there are no bathroom checks on Srilankan Airlines and I don’t think that’s good enough.
Pros: Friendly crew and great food
Cons: Delay to take off
Pros: The staff was very helpings .
Cons: The way they are Waigh the luggage was like weighing gold.
Pros: Crew is amazing with a smile always. It was a new aircraft with nice screens and a good variety of movie selections. Service was excellent as well as the food.
Cons: I was denied checking in a the counter. I bought the ticket with a friends credit card and they needed to have the actual card to swipe and then only they get access to my booking. It is company policy but it is not stated when you are making the purchase the airlines website. It says so on the bottom of the ticket on the page long rules in small print. And in all honesty who reads all of that these days. The ground crew were nice enough to take me to the airlines office at the airport and figure out a solution. It took an hour and a half to sort it out and get a verification from headquarters office in Srilanka.
Pros: It was only a short trip from Doha to Muscat to Dubai but it went very well. The flights were on time, the plane was comfortable and the staff were very helpful.
Cons: My only concern was that unless I caught the 4.00 pm flight I had to wait until the 7.30 pm (4 hour layover) or 9.30 pm (2 hour layover) flights from Doha both of which do not get to Dubai until 3.30 am. I could not catch the 4.00 pm as it was a work day. The flight timings are not good.
Cons: The connection time between these two flights that you sell as a package is not enough. It is a 30 Min journey to do in a 45 min transfer, and the gate closes 30 mins before departure. Then if you’re first plane is delayed even by ten minutes (as mine was) you are more unable to catch your flight
Pros: Cheap airfares, direct flights
Cons: Flight crew did not clear cabin at takeoff and landing. Tables left down, seats reclined. Did not enforce standards resulting in restricted egress in case of emergency. Allowed passengers to get up, collect thier bags from overhead compartments immediately after landing and during taxi. Clogged asiles. Poor air con during flight. Extremely cramped seating. Low budget and lax attitude. Consistently late flights On a positive note, direct nonstop flights to major destinations at good rates. You get what you pay for though.
Pros: Evrything about it i loved
Cons: No comment
Cons: Immigration at MCT - too many flights at the same time.
Pros: As above.
Cons: As above.
Cons: All ok
Pros: New Muscat terminal is lovely. service very attentive and food v. Nice.
Cons: Back to back delayed flights, no entertainment, no food or drinks, slow luggage delivery, etc
Pros: Not much
Cons: Siting in 15E seat next to a big man that was taking part of my seat Extremely uncomfortable Had to wait over a hour for the luggage Long and complicated transfer at Muscat, New airport toilets smell like ashtray
We’re not the seller
At KAYAK we don’t set prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
We aggregate tons of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we don't guarantee prices we find.
Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find on occasion that certain prices are no longer available.
