I was ask to go to another person who issued me check in baggage sticker and told me to hand over your baggage to a person inside. At last he mentioned to not put any valuables in that bag. My carry on bag was just 1lb extra and the first person could have told me right away and I would have thrown away chocolates and brought down the weight to permissible limit. In general passenger do carry valuable stuff in carry on bag. I had to follow whatever I was told."

The asian noodle what they provided upon request, was not sufficiant neither fit to the rank of the airline."

Cons: "1. I joined at Bangalore. The staff worked strictly according to the rules. While this is good it lends itself to passenger discomfort at times. Example: I had only 1 suitcase of 45 pounds, and I had a hand baggage of 13.7 kgs, because I was carrying all my precious crystalware back to Houston. The attendant kept insisting I lighten the hand baggage to les than 7 kgs. Finally he even suggested I send the hand baggage as checked luggage. He must be insane! I had a few thousand dollars worth of crystal in that hand bag and there was no way I'd send as checked luggage. Finally, I lightened the load to 10 kgs and called his manager and I was allowed to carry the hand luggage. 2. On landing at Dubai, everything unraveled. The airport was full of thousands of stranded passengers because 18 hours ago a plane had crash-landed at the tarmac causing flight cancellations. Obviously Emirates was poorly prepared for handling this this emergency. Many of the passengers, including myself, ended up standing at the customer service counters (there were about 10 customer service stations all over the airport), and every customer station had about 500 irate passengers and 3 or 4 agents handling them. Not only that, the customers were standing in stuffy atmosphere, no fod no water for hours, many mothers were desperate with children. Emirates had no idea how to handle this situation. I caught hold of a senior police official and told him that the least he could do was to give the customers some bottled water to keep them hydrated. Within minutes, in typical Arab hospitality - many cases of bottled water showed up, followed by cupcakes and then Mango Frootis. This helped to calm the passengers down. Then there was the chaos of everyone crowding the service desk. No lines, no semblance of order. After discussion with the policeman, we installed barriers for that passengers would stand single file. One thing that was very wrong and out of our control was there were only 3, sometimes 4, persons behind the desk, attending to more than 500 stranded passengers at each station. I reckon we would need at least 20 or 30 staff at each station. I noted that at each customer depot there were at least 10 computer stations at our service station, but only 3 were manned. Also, there was no one to advise the passengers on their status, what arrangements were being made, what the status update of the situation was...... nothing. We just stood in a bunch at the customer service desk and hoped for some attention. Appalling. Emirates needs to beef up their crisis management strategies. As a Crisis Manager myself, I was appalled to see how poor their capability to respond to a crisis situation was. I have many ideas based on my experience in crisis management. If you want suggestions call me. Besides this crisis, Emirates has always been a very good airline to me. Their everyday service is impeccable and a treat to experience. They then said we were no shows and cancelled all our remaining flights with no refund. This ended up costing us around $3000. We don't have this kind of money and I don't know how we will pay rent next month."

When I tried to move my ticket to the next day, with a business class ticket that cost $4000, Turkish airlines wouldn’t do it. They made me pay $3000 to get home . Unbelievable"

Cons: "I was pulled aside for extra security. That was fine but there were a few other passengers that should have been pulled over for extra security besides me. It took an extra 20 minutes for me to board the plane because of this and when I arrived to my seat an Arab woman was sitting in my place and refused to move to the middle seat. She said she could not and would not sit next to a man who was sitting on the other side. If this is a problem from the start, there should be a way to choose a seat according to gender. The stewardess found me another place in front of this woman who kicked my seat the whole way. She even argued with the stewardess about putting her suitcase above her in the rack and security was almost called. There should be something included in the flight information program about being polite to other passengers."

Not even the bread I have asked for from one of the crew members. Both boarding and leaving the plain were a hustle using a bus. The entertainment on the plain was beyond the worst one I have ever experienced. 8 radio channel that some of them are the same and some of them have one channel on one side and a different channel on the other. I had to use my earphones (only one of the pair) from my side and another set of earphones from the empty seat next to me, just to barely hear the same music. Also the plugs were not good, so eventually I gave that up too. POOR FLIGHT!"

The confirmation number was: KAYAK Booking Reference KE40651 British Airways Record Locator 3IMN38 Booking Date Jan 24, 2021 So British airways cancelled the flight may days before the flight date and they notified Kayak but Kayak sent me no notification. At the time of check in we found that the flight was cancelled. It was such a hassle. I called kayak to rebook frantically since it was very important to travel right away. Your customer service was pathetic. I was told to cancel my british airways reservation and then I have to wait 24 hours for another department to call me to talk to me about rebooking choices. There was no concern from your customer service that since u are at fault so make correction for it right away by rebooking it. You guys didnt inform us for cancellation of the flight that happened days before the flight. I didnt like what Kayak rep was telling me and called British airways again to see if they would do something. They then were able to rebook me the following day with 2 stops instead of one stop which I had booked. So my parents took the flight with one day delay with extra stops. Cons: "The staff at the check in at the front desk were not helpful. Some personnel do not even have the training how to handle the passengers who have already checked in and have the boarding pass with them and even not polite."

Cons: "The delay was a bit of a bummer and it would have been nice to be compensated with more than a voucher that couldn't be used in LHR because it was in USD. I also would have liked to been told they were still planning on serving dinner despite the midnight departure; I fell asleep because they turned off the cabin lights and I assumed the meals had shifted, but instead I missed out of my dinner. Lastly, I am quite petite and still struggled with legroom."

Cons: "The flight was delayed by roughly 5 hours, causing us to miss our connection and have to wait for the next flight. We missed a half day in Rome and instead spent over 8 hours waiting in airports. The seats were also terribly worn and uncomfortable."

Cons: "This airline is one of the worst in Europe, for the simple reason of putting short-term profits ahead of decent treatment of the customer. My flight across the Atlantic was 4 hours late, and BA refused to put me on the next available to Prague, even though the lateness forced me to miss the BA flight I have been booked on. Their reason referred to a technicality in the booking procedure, but actually BA has put in place "policies" aimed at their financial advantage, over and above reasonable treatment of the customer. BA's refusal to rebook me cost me a lot of inconvenience (3 hours on the phone, for one thing) plus about $150 (I am taking another route to Prague); BA was then able to sell both my original seat and an extra seat on the next flight from Heathrow to Prague. I will never fly BA again in my life if I can help it."

The overhead lights were covered in dust. So make sure you have some some type of cleaning wipes with you!! I do understand that I was flying economy, but that doesn't mean nothing should be cleaned."

On London airport, I was sent back for the gate because I showed up early and they ask me to take care of the screen and wait for the gate #, when they showed the # , I went to the gate and was told my flight had left an hour ago and sent me back walking . I was wearing an orthopedic shoe, due to a toe fracture and i had to walk again all this long distance back to the terminal.!! British airway gave another flight and had to pay $279 dlls for a ticket to Madrid.2 hrs later. My flight was by Iberia and the service. was excelent. I wonder if the insurance , I bought initially will cover something of the $ 279 dlls ticket ? Fligth back to EUA was by AA and service was excellent"

Cons: "The seats on these flights are poor. As well as being narrow, there are bars on either side that dig in to your sides. My ongoing one hour domestic flight had more comfortable seats. Fod choice poor. Chicken Curry or Cheese/Tomato Lasagna. If I want a vegetarian meal I'll order one beforehand. Give me two meat options. This isn't the first time I've noticed this. Is it cost cutting? Seems like it to me. Not impressed."

They described how they waited until group 3 was called and then went right through. While we were waiting, we watched them do it again. If you need to cram people into tiny spaces to be profitable, then you cannot allow them to make it worse by putting back their seats. I spent 90 minutes with a seat back jammed into my chest. We were ignored when handing out snacks, probably because we were invisible behind the seats pushed in our faces. It was one of the most miserable flights I’ve experienced."

Airport is terribly designed, lacking clear signage and navigation. TSA was a disaster and no one seemed remotely concerned about my father’s comfort or needs."

Also, I booked a premium seat, but there was no more leg room than any other seat. No meal/snack for purchase was even offered."

Cons: "Initially we thought we were flying with British Airways. We then had to do some digging to realize it was all out of American Airlines. Then we couldn't get proper boarding passes and luggage tags until one of the crew members spent a significant amount of time untangling each leg of our trip so they were in the proper order. We got delayed by 4 hours in Chicago and missed our connection in Manchester. We had another 5 hour wait there. By the time we got to Dublin, our bags didn't also arrive. After almost 24 hours of travel, we arrived but without all of our stuff."

Cons: "This was a long non-stop flight from Miami to Denver. Over 4 hours. So I took the plunge and bought first class. I always fly first class on any flight over 2 hours. However, I was disappointed. The food was so-so and insufficient. The drinks were also not enough. The video displays were small and poorly located for the movie. The seats seemed uncomfortable. All and all I have come to expect a better experience from American Airlines in First Class. The ticket was expensive."
