Cons: "Onboarding was ridiculous. They merged two gates together with no instructions to the large crowd of people boarding the plane. We were scheduled to start boarding at a certain time and we didn’t actually board until 45 minutes later. When we asked the attendants when we would begin boarding and did they have any instructions they were extremely rude, laughing with one another and taking selfies. When we we asked for the third time they brushed us off with a time frame. It was extremely disappointing."
Cons: "carry-on did not fit on center overhead compartment unless I put it side ways (Same carry-on suitcase fit nicely on Emirates airplanes, so the carry-on overhead compartments have been made smaller on Qatar on purpose or by engineering error, and I will not fly Qatar airlines again. Less food options. I went to the Gally and they only had kitkat bars for food. Emirates offer fruit, sandwiches, and many choices at ALL TIMES of the flight for economy class passengers. Entertainment computer (Android based system) ran slow and out of memory at times. Seats were not comfortable for 12hrs flight. My butt was starting to hurt. I did not have this issues on Emirates flights."

Cons: "On a 13-hour flight, the video center is your main source of not losing your mind. Truly disappointing when you pay for the extra leg room in an exit row and you can’t watch any videos. Unfortunately, the ICE video center was broken on the way to Dubai also. In addition, the flight crew lets people stand around in front of you which reduces the extra leg room you pay a hefty price for. What’s the point of charging over $700 for this added “luxury” on each of your flights from JFK to Male, Maldives when you can’t use it. Emirates is nice, but didn’t reach the expectations they set."

Pros: "The two checked bag allowance is very helpful - especially for someone who travles for projects, for long times and is on a tight budget. The staff were very attentive. Frequent offers fof drinks to stay hydrated was very good. The seats were large enough to be comfortable. The number of entertainment options was exceptional."
Cons: "The air plane was freezing cold - I could not even be comfortable sitting in my seat with a blanket on. The woman next to me had 2 blankets on. I could not check my luggage when I arrived at the airport. I had to sit with my luggage for 3 hours just waiting to check it. So I could not enjoy the 7 hours I had before my flight - to walk around the city, or even shop in the airport. I could not select a seat when I checked in on line - even though it was 20 hours before my flight. Even though I was traveling alone I could only get a middle seat. There were no non-meat food choices for the meal. We could not hear the announcements at boarding - no one knew what was being said."

Cons: "Not at all accommodating of dietary restrictions. It was a very long flight to not have any options for food, and crew acted very put out when we asked if there were any other options. Checked our carry on luggage for being "too heavy" in spite of the fact that it was the exact same luggage we carried on for the flight out which meets all necessary size restrictions. Boarding was very disorganized, no announcements were being made, flight attendants were simply holding up signs at chest level which were completely blocked by the crowd."

Cons: "They failed to informed me that passangers have to report to the gate one full hour before direct flights to the US from Abu-Dhabi in order to clear US customs and border security which happens there prior to your flight (which is the only place in the world that this happens.) I arrived at the Airport 2.5 hours before my flight and reported to my gate 45 minutes before my flight and was not allowed through. They then were extremely rude to me when I was in the process of finding a new connection and made me buy a brand new ticket for the following morning as the penalties for rescheduling would cost more than buying a new ticket which was 1200 USD!! They insisted that this warning was on their web site and would have been on my ticket had I got it from their website. Since I purchased my ticket from Kayak.com, that was my own problem. They then showed me a warning label on the baggage claim slip that they gave me at check in but this was only in Arabic with NO ENGLISH translation provided. More importantly the representative who checked me in to my flight never told me about needing to be at the gate 1 hr before the flight. Throughout this whole process they were unapologetic, unsympathetic and rude. I met two other people that same day who had the same problem one of these passangers arrived at the gate 1.5 hrs before her flight and still could not get to her flight in time because of the inefficient customs and immigration process that the Emarati's have in place in an attempt to mimic our process in the US. This is a very bad policy which only Etihad does. If you fly through Dubai with Emirates they do not require this nonsense. The Etihad staff were rude, unhelpful, unapologetic and inefficient. Never fly from Abu-Dhabi to the US with Etihad. On the flight, as the plane came to a stop at the end of the runway but still needed to taxi in to the gate, people started getting up. Instead of calmly explaining to people what was going on, one of the stewardesses waved it off and said well when we start moving again or if something happened they will just DIE then! This was not the only occasion I was disgusted by the staff. I woke up on the flight and couldn't find my glasses and the response of one of the stewardesses was "can you ask someone else to help you, I am on my way to take a nap and if I stop to help you I want get my full rest." This airline is one of the worst in the world if not the worst. I will never fly with them again and I am considering sending these stories to a NEWS network to raise awareness on this issue. Their staff don't care. They seem to be overworked and burned out. They only get one day off when flying to New York and back when by law they are required two. This shows that they are abusive to their staff which then leads their staff to have have horrible customer service."

Cons: "My partner and I had booked our tickets separately and so were under different levels of check in (online). We were first to baggage drop at Ahmedabad and believed the staff at the check in counter would assist in getting our seats together as I have been shifted from my checked in seat on a previous flight. However he was unfriendly and unaccomodating which made it a very unpleasant journey."

Cons: "I travelled from KUL to JFK with transit at Abu Dhsbi. Nightmarish transit in Abu Dhabi. Three intrusive security screenings (why three?). At some point they take away your boarding pass and make you sit in a hall for about half an hour (with similar 'criminals') with no access to bathrooms without telling you why. Then they call your name to return the boarding pass ( which was a problem for me because I am hearing challenged). Not sure this special treatment is reserved for just brown skinned travellers"

Cons: "This flight had the potential to be good as the entertainment and food options were good, but I felt cramped and the volume of the surrounding passengers was awful. There were three crying babies, which I know neither the airline nor the families themselves can control, as well as one child with special needs who was making a lot of noise the whole flight. I wasn't able to sleep at all for that reason. Additionally, I was disappointed that the flight was late and that the deplaning process was so long – we taxied for a long time and there was only one staircase, so we were very late."
Pros: "Something unusual happened on this leg. A passenger became quite ill, and the captain decided to fly back to Abu Dhabi 2.5 hours after our takeoff from there. That certainly says something about Etihad's customer service. I doubt United would have done the same. A crew member told me that the double back meant an extra fuel cost of $50,000. The moral is: make sure you've got your medications in order—or whatever your health requires—before you board an airplane."

The air India staff at the airport assured me that my next flight (booked separately) will wait for me and that they have communicated about the delay to them. Nothing of that was done. I would have appreciated if they were honest and asked me to rush as soon as I land. It was a nightmare catching my connection. A person near my seat puked while landing in this flight. There was no sick bag in any of the seat pockets. Air hostess provided a sick bag after the flight landed which was of no use."

Cons: "We were forced to part with our hand luggage and had to check in.There are two security check points at Delhi airport. I had bitter experience with the first one where the CISF personnel misplaced my luggage which was put on the screening conveyor. When I complained of not finding my luggage, they tried to convince me that it must have been taken by my wife who had been screened before me and had left for boarding while I was still waiting to pass through the security. When I went to the entry side of the conveyor looking for my luggage, it miraculously found lying on the exit side of the conveyor.( after 10 minutes)"

The tray tables were chipped off / taped to put them together and they were still slanting which did not help in keeping anything on the table without it sliding towards you. Crew service was mediocre and not friendly except for a couple of members. We have found better and tastier INDIAN food provided by foreign airlines. They also did not have basics like Club Soda/Ginger Ale/regular Sprite or 7 Up."

Cons: "I had the worst experience at Kuwait airport. I traveled on 26 th of sept 2017 from Islamabad to Jfk.The way I was treated before boarding is something I never want to encounter in my life. I have to think twice now before traveling by Kuwait airways. Not only the ground is untrained they also seems very uneducated.. Preferences given to Kuwaities I thing that's why they are running the whole airline . Staff not sure how to run the body scanner discussing in front of me what to look for. Body patting three times still not sure what they looking for or how to do it. Talking and yelling staff blames you of carrying an American passport and getting benefit out of it by complaining the way you have been treated. You were treated much nicely and professionally at Shannon Airport. Worst Airport and worst ground staff to deal with."

Cons: "Quite surprisingly, this leg of journey was not expected as it turned out. I always thought that US bound flights, no matter where they are flying from, are top notch. Unfortunately, in-flight service was very mediocre with rough, impolite and unfriendly eastern European stewardesses on flight ( they still need to come out of the behaviours of their Communist cultures which made them what they are). Again, food and beverage services were not the best. Airlines must make it regular practice to serve water frequently on long haul flights like these. Wouldn't probably fly with Kuwait Airways again unless really have to. The Kuwait Airport is not that organized for transits."
