Limiting the free baggage allowance to 15 kg is quite difficult to meet when you are a foreigner visiting India. The cost for extra weight is very expensive.
Crew tried to be helpful and friendly.
Difficult to find if in right line to check in. After asking many finally found a staff member who realized I had only a few minutes to catch my flight. Then given priority.

They finally managed to get me on the plane after finding out I had 10 minutes to boarding time due to inefficient inter terminal transport in Delhi

Tried checking in and airline didn’t have my reservation. I had to buy Another ticket to catch flight. Don’t know if it’s Kayak or airline flight. I will be emailing parties for compensation.

Air Asia is always a good deal, and Kayak is always a win.
The departure lounge in Goa is a mess. Too many flights and too little space. Only two food choices, leading to crazy long lines. That is not the fault of Air Asia or Kayak, but be warned. Goa airport is rough.

the flight was ok and we were served with food,which was average,.ONLY vegetarian,.
the luggage was booked all the way to Chicago which was very useful and was appreciated.,since we had a connecting flight via Istanbul to Chicago we were allowed 2 suite cases each.
it was 2-2 and a half hours late.it was very tiring and inconvenient especially for senior citizens and small children.they kept changing the gate and no one was there to assist the passengers.
My flight status from Cochin to Mumbai was being flexed around but was assured that I will get my connection at Mumbai ,Having to wait in COK for long time I requested a to give me a lounge facility and was refused so had spend nad took lounge around 7.30pm BUT AS i WAS SETTLING DOWN AROUND 8.OOpm CAME AND TOLD THAT i WILL NOT GET MY CONNECTION AS STATUS WAS PUT AS INDEFINITE DELAY AND WAS TOLD TO TAKE ANOTHER FLIGHT TO CONNECT ai jfk FKLIGHT WHIC IS ABOUT 100 MILES AWAY FROM MY DESTINATION AND i DEMANDED TRANSPORTATION AND THEY AGREED BUT BY THE TIME THEY CAME BACK WITH NEW BORDING CARD i WAS DRAGGED TO SECURITY FOR ANOTHER CHECK AS MY BOARDING CArd is changed. Then they virtually dragged to Delhi flight as it was already to take off Lo behold my seat was between two heavy set peple I had to squeeze and stay squeezed for about 4 hours till i reached Delhi , By the time I reached Delhi I was a nervous wreck, Flight from Delhi to JFK was a tad better and the in flight service crew were very good.
Except the flight service crew and food on delhi -JFK sector all were bad .
In the nake of entertainment they had movies and 90% of it was not full movies .their remote were not working and had fight to coax the touch screen to work Over all I would give them 1 that because of food and servbice crew .
Travel time and checked baggage till final destination
Almost everything is bad. Cabin smelled like urine. Food options and quantity very less. Cheap plastic trays, cups, spoons and forks. Cabin not maintained. Torn upholstery and broken tray tables. No separate kids menu. IFE systems outdated. IFE dont work on most of the seats. IfE collection and navigation is poor. Never expected such quality on an international route.
My suggestion to other travellers. Pack your own food especially for kids. Fully charge and download your own entertainment for your flight on ipad or laptop. Carry a sanitizer or perfume to get over the bad smelling cabin.
The ground crew as well as the cabin crew was extremely helpful. My arm was in sling and I was traveling with my 3 yr old so they helped me everywhere from carrying the baggage to providing comfortable seats.
