I was asked to wait for almost an hour and a half to get my documents cleared for my travel to dubai. After all that wait I was asked to sign an Indemnity form stating that I'll be responsible for any penalties whatsoever from Dubai Immigration if denied entry in dubai. The staff don't even know the rules and have behaved so dumb while dealing with passenger and have zero knowledge about document checks. Either the airline needs to get them more trained before getting them on the floor or needs to take strict action against them. Because wasting my time at the Mumbai airport was not so entertaining for me and the airline did not even seem apologetic about it. Vistara has hired some really unprofessional and uneducated staff at their Mumbai station."

Cons: "Three things : 1) The crew seemed to be relatively inexperienced and just out of college. I observed a couple of informal communication exchanges from their part. But the crew were helpful and tried their best to provide the best customer experience. 2) The boarding process normally starts with business and premium class and then followed by economy. For my flight however the economy class was boarded first while the business class passengers were kept stranded waiting in a separate line. This also reflected the inexperience of the crew which handled the boarding. 3) Vistara was my connecting flight from Pune to Delhi followed by British airways flight from Delhi to London. Though the flights were booked under one ticket, the representative did not checkin my luggage throughout the journey due to which I had to collect my baggage at Delhi and check it in again. The representative explained that vistara still didn't have alliances with most airlines allowing luggage to be checked in till final destination. This is another front on which they can improve."

You feel that your feet are pressed together when you sleep. Also no seat level storage space. Seats are narrow and are almost impossible to sleep in resting on your side. Would suggest united try out the Emirates airline business class seats on the A380. The British Airways business class seats and New Zealand business class lay flat seats are also much nicer."

The touch screens on the back of the seats are annoying (especially on a 7-hour flight) to the passenger in front, as they can feel the constant tapping through the seat."

When we get to the Air India desk there was one sweet old Indian lady working there, completely unaware of what is going on: that our flight got cancelled, that we sat in plane for three hours, that we wanted to re-book. It took hours and many arguments with various staff of Heathrow to get us re-booked to other flights. Our flight was scheduled at 12:30pm; I finally got re-booked at 5:00pm, and left Heathrow at 10pm! Longest day ever! I have flown across the world in less time than what it took me to fly from London to NY."

Arriving in Newark at 8:30 p.m. instead of the 3 p.m. expected made it a very long, uncomfortable day. Again, not Air India's fault. Going to London from Newark on Air India five days earlier was one of the best flights I've had. The crew on both flights were great, and the food and drink were surprisingly good."
