Crew said, she will get back to me and I did not hear from her for another 10 mins, then there was repeat serve of drinks and I was asked if i needed any thing and asked the same drink, but then I was asked to wait. After I had finished off my meal and ready to go to sleep, someone was bringing my drink out and I then respectfully say no to it as it was bit late after the meal and asked for water instead and did not like the look on the face of the crew member. I saw it happening with other passengers as well and was under the impression, the whole crew performance was pretty poor and SIA was not up to its high-standards as I always like to fly with them. I will look for different option next time"

Ground staff was waiting for me with a small car after I disembarked to drive me to the gate. And I somehow made my connection. Excellent service. Obviously my checked bag didn't make it, but I was told in advance and was kept updated before boarding and immediate after I disembarked at my final destination. When I went to the baggage service counter, they were already ready for me, had filled out my paperwork, and just needed an address to confirm the delivery of my suitcase. I'm super impressed to this attention to detail."

Finally, the toilets ran out of paper towels and tissues with 3 hours to go in the flight, and they were never refilled. The flight attendants put a roll of toilet paper next the sink to use for your hands."

When we arrived late in FRA, the gate attendant was extremely rude while trying to rebook and actually left us in the middle of rebooking because her shift ended. No one came to take her place!! She actually swore at us!! We were only able to rebook by calling the Lufthansa call centre and had to spend a very uncomfortable overnight at the airport without any certainty of when we would fly out. Lufthansa finally got us out on the same flight as booked but 24 hours later. And then, of course, they lost our luggage. Terrible overall experience."

Instead, we got changed to Indianapolis to San Diego with a 15 minute layover in Chicago. Our plane landed in Chicago 20 minutes early, but then we sat out on the runway for 45 minutes waiting for a gate despite being able to see 3 or 4 open gates from our window. We didn't get to deplane until after our connecting flight was already boarding and both my fiance and I had to use the restroom really bad. Needless to say we had to literally run to catch our connecting flight."

Pros: "Nothing about 9 HOURS in an Airport is great! I walked from where I landed coming from Calgary, to terminal 2 Gate F 17 because that was where the flight to Lexington was to leave from. Then I got notice it was leaving from terminal 1 Gate B 24 so (I'm sure I walked a mile there) to get there. Waited for a number of hours checked my phone and found the departure was back again at terminal 1 Gate F 17!?!?! So I walked another mile back to where I started. At no point was I offered a drink or meal voucher for the 9 hour delay/inconvenience in my flight to Lexington ky. Suffice to say that I will NEVER go on any flight if I have to go back through this airport. I also have horrible knees, which all the walking did not help."

Cons: "Most of the airline staff were unbelievably rude. They wouldn't let me 91 year old grandfather get up to stretch at ask during the flight. They also told me to stay out of the way and sit down during a medical emergency when I got up because they needed a doctor."

Comfort: Seats are tight and you will have very minimal space and an awkward position if the person in front of you recline the seat but you don't. Flight is old and seats are uncomfortable. Very little leg room"

Cons: "- Cheap quality food. And less in quantity. Less options. And they ran out of meal options even though I indicated them at the time of booking. - Not so clean - Sickness bags were used ones and had something in them. Clearly, they were not replaced. Toilets didn't have basic supplies like moisturizers. Not to mention they were super cramped. - Entertainment system was out of 60s. Small LCD and were of the smallest resolution and viewing angles - made watching anything akin to watching those cam rips floating all over internet. - Cramped leg room. And the premium seat didn't have any better room. Overall, one of the poorest flights I have ever flown on. Even Air India has much better planes and service."

Cons: "Crew wasn't rude but wasn't overly friendly. They seemed responsive. A bit stingy on the drinks (I only had water and each time got only 1/2 to 3/4 of a cup). We pre-ordered vegetarian meals and they did supply them, but they got the orders wrong (we ordered different types of meals and only got one type). The biggest issue is the layover. China Eastern does not supply a hotel for long layovers. We applied from their website beforehand, but they canceled the hotel program. They did supply vouchers for food which was nice, but in Terminal 1 there is no resting lounge to lie down or clean up in, except for the VIP lounges which we didn't have access to."

Cons: "I made friends with another passenger who when texting his number introduced himself as ‘XYZ, flight from hell’. That pretty much sums it up but here’s a laundry list of issues I faced on the trip 1. They landed us in a different airport in China and did not inform us on how to get to the other airport (PVG). After several failed attempts of catching a taxi that accepts Visa or US dollars, we finally got a bus that ferried us 2. They also did not automatically transfer the luggage, so I had to carry my two checked in bags to the other one and then stand in a 45 min queue to get them checked in again 3. Unhelpful ground staff 4. Delayed second flight. After a shitty eight hour long layover, we got another 2 5. Horrible food 6. No ear plugs are available in the plane 7. Not a single apology from the crew about the delay Also, anyone who doesn’t speak mandarin needs to understand that the crew in China is not well equipped to understand and help you, so be prepared to have the translation struggle"

Crazy, if i book on the day of flying, it would be super expensive. Then they booked on next day flight and that too confirmed which is contradictory to advisory of 3 days. Rebooked but missed critical things like veg food, wheelchair, aise seat. Rude staff at airport. Refused to give anything in written over email."

Cons: "Our flight was delayed by more than 3 hours. I knew about it because I got email messages from Kayak informing me of this delay about 4 hours before scheduled takeoff. But the airline officials did not tell anyone about the delay and the Gate kept showing the scheduled time. Even when we asked the officials, they would not say how delayed the flight was going to be, although Kayak knew about it. It was very insensitive on their part to keep passengers waiting indefinitely at the Gate when they knew all the while how delayed the flight was. I wish they would learn to be more honest with their passengers."

Cons: "Both legs of flights were delayed with the second one being close to 6 hours late. As a result of which we missed our connecting flight from Delhi to Kolkata. What made it worse was the lack of communication and practically no help on the part of China eastern. I had to buy a new ticket resulting in a loss of about $200. At Delhi airport the CE manager should have met with passengers who had similarly lost their connecting flights and made the necessary arrangements for them and st the expense of the airlines (instead of leaving it to the junior staff )We will not be flying China Eastern ( except for our return and hoping for a better experience).. Also poor entertainment even on the 9 hour Honolulu to Shanghai flight. No movie selection at all."
