Cons: "The flight was good, however I was not able to check in online due to British airways website issues. The entertainment touch screen is not working properly,needs some maintenance."

Thus requested to be placed on flight JFK- BTV. Then that flight was missed by 5-10 mins , plane was still attached to gait as we reach at gait & it was 2240 pm & flight time was 2250. So spend the night At airport floor with two kids & seven people total in party . No compensation was given at all . BA is the only carrier that charge money to pick up seat assignment in advance more 24 hrs ."

I then tried to purchase water and the machine rejected 3 times. My card worked perfectly on all flights and during my entire trip in Portugal. After assuring me if was probably their machine not my card, I was still not offered water."

The airplane interior was ancient and would be better served with Allegiant aircraft and not something that should be on a so called premium route by a once premium company. I would honestly recommend anyone fly Thomas Cook or TUI or even Norwegian before flying British Airways 777s as they are ancient wrecks with no value proposition. I would recommend going by boat before flying British Airways 772. The only time I would recommend flying any of the 772s from British Airways was if walking was your only other choice and even then a nice pair of trainers would probably be more comfortable."

I had a long flight to London from Delhi already so I was too tired to immediately realize what he had done. It only occurred to me when I boarded the flight. I had booked a premium seat in advance and had paid $175 extra for it. He basically moved me to a regular economy seat at the back without asking me or refunding me. That's fraud."

All this time, no official communication from BA. No attempt to reroute elderly passengers or those with small children. Very unimpressed"

Either the plane was on the way or it was turning back, or it had landed or was perpetually 20 mins from landing. At one point, they did slip and admit that they actually had no way of actually tracking the plane, so everything they told us had been wild guesses about what had actually been happening! When some passengers asked to speak with a manager, we were told that the manager was not accepting calls at that time. After hours and hour and hours of delays and lies, they finally found a plane, but we still had to wait an hour for a crew as the original crew was now over their time limit. Once we were airborne, the flight was smooth and the newly cobbled together crew was nice. Zero mention or promise of reparations for the massive delay. AGAIN, DO NOT FLY AVIANCA IF YOU HAVE ANYWHERE YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO GO!"

Best of all, seat overhead bins were empty so could store carry-on; This was unusual. Flight was great, but I love flying. Cockpit crew provided status updates, and captain's apology made the late departure more understandable. Deplaning process went smoothly also."
Cons: "After everyonel was timely boarded waiting to push away from the gate, announcement was that the captain was not even in the airport. Flight delayed almost an hour. Seat would not recline, not even an inch so basically sat upright entire flight to London. One has to 'flag' staff if seen as they walked past thru the main cabin. No announcement which area to collect ones luggage, nor staff there to explain, or guide. Forget staff assistance, apparently not a priority with AA."

The biggest issue I have is that invariably when I fly American, if I go through Charlotte, is on the whole inconvenient. It takes way to Long to get to a gate when you land. Cons: "My connecting flight was delayed by 4 hours due tknsmong in India. I called United ahead of time to tell them I was not able to make my flight and if there was anyway I could get a new ticket. The representative was confident that 40 minutes between my flights at Delhi was enough time to make it despite me reminding her about the time it took to get off the plane, pick up my luggage, get through immigrations and travel to my terminal. She was very wrong. She insisted I call them when I land and that I go to the ticket booth. Little did she know that once I miss my flight my ticket is no longer valid and I was no longer able to enter the airport in India. Once I reached the entrance I was directed to a Untied booth all the way at the end of the terminal and was told to buy a new ticket. There was no United representative at this booth. I waited 3 hours and even called the number posted at the booth. No one picked up and no one came. I had wasted several hours. I ultimately decided to buy a ticket online spending another thousand dollars to get back home when I was told that I would be given a new ticket at the booth by United. But I had to wait another 24 hours outside the airport because I was not allowed in so early prior to my flight. Very unprofessional and unhelpful when I needed it the most."

The United Airline staff in San Francisco told me to pick up my luggage when I get to Seattle despite of the fact that my final destination was Vancouver. I questioned the staff about this ata this seemed odd, but he insisted that I pick up my luggage in Seattle. Upon arrival to Seattle I went to the baggage claim area to find out that my luggage was already put through to the connecting airline to Vancouver. This resulted in me having to go through a long line of passengers to do all of the security checks again to enter the international airport gates. This almost resulted in me missing my connecting flight to Vancouver. The only saving grace was that the flight was delayed by another hour. 3. Changes made on my connecting flights were only given to me during my check in at Auckland. My previous booking was Auckland -San Francisco - Portland - Vancouver. The boarding pass I was given in Auckland omitted Portland and was changed to Seattle. I was never informed about this by United Airlines. 4. United Airlines website NOT allowing me to log in using my e-mail."

I had two separate phone calls with United a week prior to the flight to understand and confirm the bag policy. This was AFTER booking my flight so they knew upfront I bought a basic economy ticket. After my first call, I understood a personal item would be free and I would be able to pay for my carry on bag, but only within 24 hours prior to the flight. I made a second call to be absolutely sure the previous agent gave me the correct information and pricing. So I paid the $25 for my carry on, checked in online, and waited at the gate while boarding at the very end because I was basic economy. They did not let me board with my bag. They requested another $50 to check my carry on with them or I would be rebooked. I struggled to afford the flight, let alone the carry on fee I had paid in advance. I literally did not have the money, and even if I had the cash, they only accept plastic. What blew me away was they weren't asking me to check my carry on because of the size. But because of my basic economy ticket, aka, the N fare. Despite checking with two employees by phone after buying my ticket and paying for a carry on in advance, there is a rule in place that states "if you have purchased Basic Economy, you will only be allowed one personal item, unless you are a Premier member or a primary card member using a qualifying MileagePlus credit card." Therefore, there is no alternative. You are a second class citizen; a no good deplorable, when you buy this ticket and there is nothing you can do to upgrade it. Only the "premier" passengers have the right to bring a carry on aboard even if you think you're paying for the privelage. What I was expected to somehow understand after asking two United employees prior if I could purchase the right to bring a carry on bag aboard, was to CHECK my CARRY ON downstairs or learn the hard way. Wow. What a ruthless way to learn this lesson. I waited 7 more hours to board the next available flight. What a nightmare. I thought I had did the appropriate research necessary and planned in advance to avoid these situations. Checking in online and contacting customer service prior is no longer the convenience it used to be. Even if you've done your research, bring additional funds with you. Even if you check in online and have a digital boarding pass, always check in with a real human prior to entering the TSA security line. A side note, United is trying to save money while "speeding up" the process by forcing you to use a computer to hand over your checked luggage. Speaking with a human now is a monumental struggle."

Pros: "I upgraded to a first class seat. The flight attendant was the warmest ray of sunshine I've experienced in a long time. He was so pleasant and kind & attentive. The flight was fantastic."

Cons: "Packed like sardines. Way too much Crew unmindful of passenger comfort (attitude) Food was just ok, especially the soggy sandwich snacks"

Pros: "Not much"
Cons: "Pay for drink Old farts as crew ..sulky and not helpful"

Cons: "The flight delay and my missed / delayed luggage."

Cons: "It was a 15.5 hour flight, and food was served 14 hours apart! Could've served the second meal a bit earlier."

Pros: "It was on time"
Cons: "If the seats get any closer or smaller they might as well double stack. I am of average height and weight so this is disappointing. The plane was sold out so it's not like UA is hurting"

Pros: "It was dirty there were crumbs on the Table"

Pros: "Everything was on time."
Cons: "Despite wearing a down coat, scarf, and hat, and holding my bag in my lap, I was freezing cold the entire flight. This was after the flight attendant let me move towards the back of the plane so I could be warmer than sitting up towards the doors. A December 6am flight with no heat? Ridiculous!"

Pros: "The crew was sympathetic and kind."
Cons: "The flight was repeatedly delayed for nearly 3 hours."

Pros: "The boarding made it so much easier for me."

Pros: "Head Flight Attendant Lynn gave 1st class service! She was a delight."

Pros: "The positives to this flight were the comfort of the business class section, and the professionalism of the flight crew in keeping passengers advised of changes in flight plan and weather conditions in a storm situation."
Cons: "The food on this flight was very poor, as was the in-flight service of the flight attendant assigned to our section."

Pros: "The in flight entertainment was great. The flight attendants were nice too. But one of them got really flustered"
Cons: "When the flight attendant got so visibly irritated with a kid. And an insane delay in Chicago"

Pros: "The boarding was good and the flight went well."
Cons: "The under seat power was difficult to find. More illumination around the outlets or a diagram showing where it is would be helpful as there is no room to look down and it's awkward to blindly pat around looking for a place to charge your phone."

Pros: "Great Dep and Arrival times. Punctuality. In fact flight arrived an hour earlier."
Cons: "In flight service appeared to be just mechanical.."

Pros: "Grand Junction is a small airport so getting through TSA was a breeze, even though I have two knee replacements and zippers on my pant pockets. The United staff, at checkin counter and on plane could not have been nicer. Thanks for the snacks and sparkling water. In flight entertainment on phone, great! Please offer a Credit card without the $95.00 annual fee. I could become a regular."
