Pros: "The whole Business experience on SQ"
Cons: "During the same trip I discovered 2 different arrangements of the Business Class cabin on Singapore Airlines A350, SQ469 CMB-SIN, and SQ036 SIN-LAX. On the SQ036, I occupied seat 15 A (mono, aisle-window): I did not understand the reasoning behind this layout: Seat facing straight the front of the aircraft, but not enough space to stretch the legs, and limited height for the footrest, feet getting hurled against a ceiling very quickly, and also footrest only on one side = one foot. The deep cavity, that is probably meant to house the lie-flat disposition, is at a 45° angle with the general direction of the seat. I am 77 and not in any way a contortionist. I decided that the best course of action was to remain seated for the duration of the 14:30 hours, flight without extending my legs. Maybe the crew could have explained how the passenger is supposed to fit into that weird design, but I did not ask, afraid that the demonstration might reawaken chronic shoulder and hip pain. I would be glad to read (not test) how this configuration is supposed to convey the sense of comfort expected from a Business Class ticket. It did nothing of the kind for me."

Pros: "Overall, the staff was amazing, so as the food and cleanliness"
Cons: "The space between the seats in economic seat"
Pros: "Yes and yes"
Cons: "Not sure because I have never had a better experience."
Cons: "WiFi didn’t work on 3 of the 4 flights although all purportedly had it. Also didn’t work the majority of the time in the Business Class Lounge in Singapore. Food was mediocre both on flights and in the lounge. Movie selection could hardly have been worse."
Pros: "The crew, their professionalism and wide variety of entertainment."
Cons: "Air-conditioning was not working properly in the cabin and it felt warm. Seats are a tad uncomfortable and not wide enough on the 777."
Pros: "Cabin crew was excellent and the premium economy seat was very comfortable and accommodating. The choice of food from the variety menu was also delicious."
Pros: "The seats were comfortable and the staff was very attendant!"
Cons: "No complaints"
Pros: "(Previous PE comparisons: Turkish AL, Air NZ, SAS) Ease of check-in, on-time dep/arr, crew attention and responsiveness, seating within the range to be expected of this class."
Cons: "Plane condition: Cosmetic plastic panel below monitor and seat back pocket on Seat 31E fell off when foot rest was lowered; had previously been secured by adhesive tape. Panel removed by crew. In-flight entertainment system: Persistent intermittent loss of sound while listening to movie or TV program. Food: Tried to use "Book the Cook" feature touted by Singapore's website. Was unable to get on site for that purpose. The last try a message appeared (late September) that site was being "rebuilt." On the flight, there was no menu of choices; we were offered 3 vaguely worded choices which boiled down to beef, chicken or vegetables. Those appeared in not particularly appetizing forms and combinations--P.S., we like east and southeast Asian cooking and had just spent 3 weeks in Japan. Failure to provide information about possible delays due to WRG deplaning location at LAX: Although we are frequent fliers to and from LAX, we'd never heard of the WRG. It would have been helpful if the crew had informed us upon arrival that there could possibly be a wait on the plane as buses were used to transport us approximately 1/2 mile to TBIT. Generally: We chose Singapore because of its reputation for excellence. Belying the name of the class, both Turkish AL and Air NZ treated Premium Economy passengers as "junior" business class. Singapore treated us as coach with a roomier cabin and seating pitch."
Pros: "Friendly Staff. Very nice Meet and Greet Comfortable travel. Meals were tasty."
Cons: "First experience with Singapore where the crew made a negative impression. As soon as the plane pulled away from the terminal, crew members seemed rushed and frantic, literally running back and forth from Economy Premium to the galley gathering items. Approximately every 7-10 minutes, crew members would be running back and forth next to my seat with heavy foot steps, which would wake me up. I also noticed that certain crew members were shouting at passengers to get their attention instead of lowering themselves to be heard. One flight attendant almost spilled orange juice on me because she turned around too fast trying to serve drinks. I'm not sure if they were short-staffed, or if it was the influence of a certain crew boss, but something was definitely wrong."
Pros: "Crew on airport at baggage is not helpful at Mumbai airport very poor"
Cons: "Good Guidance Proper behavior from airport crew"
Cons: "While boarding the flight from Dubai to Houston, no one announced about family boarding. About a quarter of the flight had boarded before we decided to get in the line ourselves, and they took us in without any questions. It would have been better if an announcement for family boarding was made. The Dubai to Houston crew could have been more friendly and welcoming."
Pros: "Good food and comfortable seats"
Cons: "Boarding was confused and disorganized, but that seems to be a common problem with ground staff at all Indian airports"
Pros: "I liked the food and the supplies given for the long trip, blanket, eye cover, toothbrush, etc."
Cons: "More comfortable seats"
Pros: "The seat was not comfortable and the food as well"
Pros: "everything! the A380 plane and the onboard entertainment and services was fantastic"
Pros: "Same as first trip but this time the manager gave us some crackers and chocolate because we asked her to give us something to eat"
Cons: "Same as first trip but this time we were more mad and the food was like rubber we told the manager and she brought us some of the crews food and we still didn’t have any food because it smelled rotten"
Pros: "The crew and my fruit platter."
Cons: "So many screaming babies. So many passsengers wanting a few upgrade. And a sick passenger that had to deplane resulting in delayed take off. The crew were saints- composed, polite, and embodied team spirit. So many screaming babies."
Pros: "The service, the food and the comfort, as well as the entertainment are the best."
Cons: "Nothing."
Pros: "Very good services by Emirates, flight was on time, leg room between seats was sufficient, meals were good and staff behavior was good"
Pros: "Nice crew"
Cons: "Comfort. Seats were very uncomfortable with absolutely NO leg room. I fly a lot and this was one of the WORST leg room experiences I had."
Cons: "The food is not very good at all. One mediocre meal served soon after take-off, then for the rest of the flight tasteless, cardboard pasties and wraps."
Pros: "Crew was very nice. Food was very good and plentiful. Entertainment was good. Overall the very long flight was better than expected."
Cons: "It took forever to board in Sydney with all passengers standing and waiting for 45 minutes and never being told what was going on. I resented having my passport and ticket demanded at least 4 times. A bit overkill and a power trip by security. Absolutely despise airport security...there is no uniformity."
Pros: "Food was great. Friendly stas staff."
Cons: "LAX AIRPORT signage leaves something to be desired. Nothing to do with airline."
Pros: "Pilot was great— we don’t thank them enough for a smooth and safe arrival. Plane was great. Ammenities were given (such as ear plugs etc)"
Cons: "Crew members are a bit bland and lack customer service, but I noticed that as a whole in Australia (slow service/not really interactive or communicative & very quick to make comments and leave) not sure if they just hate Americans based on the media or what. One crew member cut in line at the restroom when there was 3 of us waiting to go. Another told me my husband couldn’t receive his meal because he was napping and then he quickly walked away— Yet i received mine on the flight coming to Australia when my husband asked for me? Sanitation between flights should be more strict-my headphones were opened which lead me to believe my pillow wasn’t changed either, since one had a case and one didn’t."
Pros: "Crew was amazing and we got fed so often. The movie choices were good."
Cons: "I wish I could have ordered a drink (pay or otherwise) from the tv in front of me"
Pros: "The crew was professional, responsive and friendly."
Cons: "The following experience goes down in history as the worst ever because: we had a 3.5 year old child, and mom and dad seated directly in front of our row. The couple ignored the instructions to move seats forward during meals making it impossible to eat. They placed their luggage in the overhead compartment belonging to both rows, which wasn't a problem if they hadn't proceeded to open and close the compartment every 20 minutes. The 300 pd dad repeatedly stepped on my broken toe while reaching for his luggage, while rattling around and disturbing sleeping passengers. And, sadly the child repeatedly threw temper tantrums without any care or effort of intervention from the parents. In short, they terrorized the surrounding travellers. In contrast, my outbound flight, also had a family seated in the row directly in front. This family was the antithesis, considerate and respectful of their fellow passengers. Susan Laws"
Pros: "Everything about my flights on Virgin Atlantic was amazing. The plane was new and comfortable, the seats seemed to recline more than in other airplane I have been. The entertainment was good with a wide selection of movies and TV shows. The crew was incredibly nice and helpful and I had a really pleasant time talking with them. On the airport team side I can also say they were extremely helpful as I missed my flight and they promptly rebooked me on the next one 3h later, free of charge. I think the stress of missing a flight was completely deflected by the help of the Virgin Atlantic crew at the desk so thank you for that!"
Cons: "The only thing I would improve is the main dish in the meal. I loved all the small sides like the Boursin and crackers but I found the main meal a little bland l."
Cons: "The flight change the gate number immediately so I missed my flight"
Cons: "Why do I have to get a new boarding pass in London"
Pros: "The Flight crew was excellent - Inflight services were really good. However, the ground service and customer service was horrible!"
Cons: "In-ground service is terrible. Turkish Airlines on-ground staff and customer service staff don't know how to handle any problems. They are unconcerned and unhelpful. They just keep shrugging their shoulders."
Pros: "The full recline seats were really good and comfy. I could sleep on my side which is what I prefer. Good food and excellent service"
Pros: "Excellent food and service.Very comfortable flight.Crew was great."
Cons: "Check in staff not so friendly but process was OK"
Pros: "Entertainment package"
Cons: "I paid extra money for the upgrade to sit the exit but only to be told after boarding that due to my size and age that I can’t sit on the exit aisle. Then I said okay, I’ll move if I get a refund and the the flight attendant said that they will. So then I swapped to a middle seat by the attendants directive all the way in the back. After the plane takes off, the flight attendant said that can not refund me the upgrade. I was extremely frustrated and felt discriminated because of my age and size. I demanded to sit back to my original assigned seat but they refused. Not to mention, the flight was delayed!! Unpleasant experience and a rip off."
Pros: "The service, the food. The staff is very friendly and helpful."
Pros: "Crew was good Comfortable seats"
Cons: "flight was bit hot food could have been better entertainment unit touch screen wasnt responsive on flight"
Cons: "The crew was not very warm and/or welcoming - they were short, impersonal, and kind of cold"
Pros: "Flight delayed by 2 hours. Very little leg room. NO vegan food available. Baggage lost. Abysmal customer service."
Cons: "Will never fly Turkish airlines again"
Pros: "When I missed my flight from Belgrade to Istanbul due to plane being late 45 min.and I missed my flight to LA, they gave me a free accommodation and meals."
Cons: "I didn't like the fact that nobody told me that Ataturk Airport in Istanbul is so big that you can not make to connect flight on time for an hour.Especially if you flight has been late to depart like mine from Belgrade due to the rain. I thought I will make it to the connect flight to LA but the gate was already closed. I was instructed to do multiple errands, to get Turkish visa, etc all on my expense to be able to exit the transit as an American citizen and be able to take Turkish airlines bus to the hotel. The hotel was fine and the meals. The problem was that they calculate bus traveling time wrong in the hotel and put people on the bus next day too late, so due to the traffic jam, we barely made it to the airport, and then we had to stress the officials to put us on the fast passport control lane due to boarding time."
Pros: "They are literally the BEST airline I have every flown! All the crew are so nice and it is their policy to give you all of the comforts - pillows, blankets, headphones, drinks (including alcohol), movies, musics, games, meals, snacks and probably more! I don't think they have a way to take money! This was the best flying experience I have ever had! The plane itself was also very nice. There was touchscreen in front of me with all kinds of entertainment plus a USB charger for my phone. They also made sure the closest connecting flight folks had gate attendants waiting for them. The service is phenomenal all the way around!"
Cons: "Despite a 5 hour layover for our connection, one of our checked bags was left in London by British Airlines. Other bags made it. Makes no sense."
Pros: "The air hostesses were first class. Pleasant, efficient and professional."
Cons: "The tv selections. Could have had more variety"
Pros: "The Heathrow terminal, Amazing. Why does everyone in window seats keep all the window shades closed -- throughout the entire flight? It was daylight and beautiful outside. Are they all vampires? Why did my overhead light shine on the seat next to mine? Never mind... the flight was fine. Nothing to shout about, except for what I wrote in the next "What I didn't like" box...."
Cons: "I was assigned a window seat. I asked an agent if I could get an isle seat because I am a little claustrophobic. She said yes, and gave me 24D. Great, but I was annoyed and upset that she did not warn me that it was a front seat, with now place to put my personal bag. The wife of the guy next to me was 10 seats away, so I found an isle seat at the back of the aircraft and moved, so she could be with her husband. It all worked out okay, but the agent should have been more informative and have offered the option of that rear seat. It's not nice to be sneaky."
Cons: "flight was delayed and we never got any information by the pilots or crew to let us know that we were delayed and no information on the new arrival time. Almost lost my connection at LAX"
Pros: "Friendly staff."
Cons: "Plane was late leaving London. Meal choice was again chicken or vegetarian. Not really a choice. Stingy with the wine at dinner."
Pros: "The flight crew was amazing. The entertainment system was great"
Cons: "Landed almost an hour late. Food was HORRIBLE. worst pasta of my life. The crew while kind, we busy chatting in the galley most of the flight. Never came around (besides the initial drink cart and the meal) to offer water or check on passengers. They forced me to close the window while we were flying and I bought a window seat so i could look out. The boarding process was very slow and disembarking took ages. Problems with loading the baggage led to an issue at baggage claim where they were stuck."
Pros: "Lots of video entertainment options and economy plus was very comfortable."
Cons: "A380 takes a long time to load everyone onto plane and get everyone off the plane as well."
Pros: "The trip was o k and the crew performed well"
Cons: "The connecting time in London was too much"
Pros: "My luggage made it to LA"
Cons: "The food quality was poor and the service left a lot to be desired. I asked for some water and she told me she’d be back. I waited almost an hour, then called and no one came. When I called on the second time she came with a cup half full and seemed irritated. I didn’t even bother asking for more water. They didn’t let me check in early enough to request roomier seats, even if we’d have to pay more given that my husband has knee surgery and needed the extra room. When I was finally able to ask, they were fully booked."
