First, the flat bed is not transformed by a button and it needs a physical person to flip it over. The mat is thin and I can feel some hard edges while lying down. The noise from the engine transmits to the bed and it is hard to sleep even with the noise cancellation headphone."

As in Doha have different seating area for different zones and the ground crew should be trained to be firm to allow only passengers with boarding."

Also if the passenger is allowed to carry a laptop bag, according to her training and theory she only knows 1 shape and does not recognize a back pack which has only the laptop. I travelled several times in Qatar, but never had this kind of experience."

I was surprised to see that the short-haul flights had better screens than the long-haul flights. I was on a 3 1/2 hour flight each way from Dubai/Delhi with beautiful screens but the long-haul each way from Dubai/Seattle had the crappy screens."

Generally, they have on-board WiFi Internet, however for my return route of 21 hours both flights had no wifi which was disappointing. This is unprofessional because if you are planning on having WiFi to respond to work emails and it is not available once you are already in the air there is nothing you could do but get stuck. Never does this happen with Lufthansa, Turkish, Etihad. Disappointing."

I couldn't sleep the entire 16 hours more than 30 minutes. I asked for water to take some medicine and was told it was 30 minutes til food service and to wait. It was over 2 hours before they started food service."

Cons: "1. The crew from Abu Dhabi to Belgrade was appalling. As we touched down at Belgrade Tesla airport, and were still taxiing, many passengers stood up, opened up the overhead compartments, took out their carry-on bags (some were pretty big hard top) and left it on the aisle. The overhead compartment doors were left open and once or twice the crew at the back murmured them to sit on their seats and strap themselves. But neither did the crew come up to severely reprimand them nor did the passengers seem to care. IT WAS THE MOST SHOCKING EXPERIENCE in my over 25 years of flying. Terrible service on part of Etihad Crew. 2. We'd just an hour's transit in Abu Dhabi airport and there were numerous passengers still trying to disembark from the Kochi-Abu Dhabi flight, pass through security checks, walk quite a distance to the gate and then get on to the bus to board the aircraft. Strangely there was no Etihad personnel helping us to navigate through this absolute chaos. Many people, young and old, were literally running with their bags. Some of us yelled that we'd a short connection and then one of the ground staff tried to make way for us to navigate through the huge queues waiting for security. This process could've been managed infinitely better. Just imagine if there were elderly passengers or little children? 3. Food was terrible. I'm a vegetarian and usually Asian vegetarian is reasonably good. In this case the rice was poorly cooked (grainy), lacked any variety (anybody who's familiar with Asian food can assure you that there're amazingly tasty and healthy vegetarian dishes that can be prepared - if Etihad needs help they're welcome to contact me). I'm surprised by all this. Try Emirates and one can see the quality of the food. 4. We'd to collect our boarding passes at Belgrade airport. We've a carte de legitimation (CDL) residence card for Switzerland but it seemed obvious that the ground staff at Belgrade have no clue what a Swiss CDL looks like. My wife who's a South African national cannot obviously enter Switzerland without a visa but the CDL is a legitimate document and that should have been it. Further we'd been checked in from Kochi to Zurich (and our bags had been checked through to ZRH). It's obvious that Belgrade staff are poorly trained and it caused unnecessary waiting time (nearly 30 minutes) and senior staff had to be summoned to clarify. I'm terribly disappointed with the overall service of Etihad. I'll never fly through Belgrade for sure. It's horrible and the travel desk were not particularly helpful. In fact I'm considering never to fly Etihad again."

Cons: "Check-in process could be better. I was in the baggage drop off line which was much shorter line yet it took a long time to get to the agent. Need more agents at the counter. Boarding could be more structured and efficient. Boarding by zone was not followed. Food was mediocre."

Cons: "Gate 61 for boarding is too far away and requires a lot of walking....very strange design of the airport"

Cons: "So i was with ticketing requesting for seating, and she said run run your flight is leaving , i did not get proper seat and i ran to find out it was NYC flight and not DC. I asked more than one Eithihqd personeel and they did not know the difference bewtween Nyac flight and DC flight . Then came back to request for seating and they again made believe my security will be declines if i waste timein requesting seating. Got a flight between 2 males for a 15 hour flight and a run across the airport with a heart problem . I will never fly Eithihqd and also will not recommend to anyone"

Cons: "The flight almost landed in Bahrain but the captain decides not to and the excuse was bad weather. So he just turned around and went back to Abu Dhabi. There was no plane for people to board Abu Dhabi and were left stranded. Thankfully the airport staff re-booked everyone immediately and dealt with the situation efficiently in a professional way. I was delayed by at least 8 hours. There was no email from Etihad about the canceled flight or an apology. It was a bit disappointing given that they are my favorite airline."

Pros: "US immigration was a breeze at Abu Dhabi. Online check in was not working. Abu Dhabi airport had a lot of options for passengers in transit. Flights were on time."
Cons: "Food was terrible on the flight. Baggage was not handled properly."

Cons: "Seats and leg space were tight. Also the air conditioning was so cold that most people had the blankets throughout the journey. They ran out of non veg meals. The same happened on the flifht from dallas to a bu dhabi"

Cons: "I missed the flight in the airport and when I went to the office in the airport to put me on the next flight they denied help. They asked me to pay the difference. I had to agree but I had not a credit card so they refused to take cash. Spend very frustrating two hours trying to convince the rude employee to put me on the flight... Do not use that airport or that company."

Cons: "They caused a lot of us to miss our connecting flights bc of hours-long delays. I had to stay overnight in Abu Dhabi. They put me up, which was nice, but I was sad to miss the first day of my work trip bc of it."

Cons: "The airline lost my luggage and the claim process is vague. I was told I will be contacted with my claims number at the airport. Thus far I haven't heard anything from the airline. The number given goes straight to voice mail."

Pros: "There was a technical problem on the airplane before we take off. The plane was in delay around 90 min. Captain of the plane was very reasonable in problem explanation, and we can feel that safety was on first place. All praise for captain and for the crew for very professional behavior."

Cons: "Crew was not that much friendly, 1 or 2 people were excellent. I didn't understand what makes them so serious, not polite and many. It might be reason if they are smile or polite passengers might ask more questions or more extra drinks or food. I don't think that will be case, it will be very long journey many people has remember the flight journey and need to travel back again in same flight."

Cons: "When compared to etihad food is better, but when coming to entertainment etihad is way better. When coming to online checkin these guys had some server issues and I don't know how it's possible but some one was able to login to my checkin and ordered a wheelchair for me that was little embarrassing"

Cons: "The check in agent missed to give me a tag for my hand luggage When ground crew at the gate didn't see the tag they placed it in a cage and a scale it was underweight & within dimensions, the wheel however was sticking out of the cage and for that it was $300 charge!! Let alone the humiliation.. It was pay in 5 mins or you will be booted off... I swear I found another family almost crying as they coming from a connecting flight didn't go through the check in desk and paid $1200 I have been using same handbag on airlines including etihad for 5 years without any problems ... Go figure"

Cons: "They were out of vegetarian sandwiches and don't substitute it with anything else. They should be extra careful with vegetarian options. Meal quality can improve a bit in general."

Pros: "Etihad is an excellent airline. I had never flown them before. You are given everything that you need: pillow, blanket, excellent service and excellent food. The crew is very attentive. The flight was not full so you were allowed to take any seat that was empty so that you could stretch out. The entertainment options were excellent. For those interested, the alcohol was free."

Cons: "The food was awful, the entertainment and wifi were cut off 30 minutes before landing, seats were not comfortable and LA crew were not cooperating at all."

Cons: "Small plane and crowded and services was not good. I had to take two buses to get to the international terminal. I had to wait for a wheelchair for an hour."
