Pros: "I flew from Bali to Doha and then Doha to Dulles after an 8 hour layover. Both flights operated a Boeing 777. The planes were spotlessly clean both flights. The menu choices were amazing and the wine selections were very good. What made the difference was the attentiveness of the cabin crew. I would particularly like to commend the purser and the flight attendants on flight 707 DOH-IAD for their assistance and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty"
Cons: "Flight 707 was supposed to have the new Qsuites in Business Class, so it was disappointing that without prior notice the airline switched to an aircraft with normal (but quite good) business class seating. Nevertheless, the purser and the flight attendants made the flight memorable in a very positive way."

Cons: "Had to claim bags at Doha and go through multiple security screenings to board connecting flight. At one point all the security was not functioning and we were packed up in lines. Barely had time to stop at the restroom before final security check where it was all so disorganized. After that check we were told that if we left we had to go through security again. Would have been nice to know that upfront. It was a madhouse going through that final security check and my husband's wallet was lost for a bit. No one really tried to help and we were told to move aside. Finally someone saw that it had fallen beside one of the counters. It was all horrible. Because of all this our 5 hour layover was a hassle with no time for food, etc. The whole airport experience was confusing and badly handled."

Cons: "My 18 year old daughter (turned 18 on December 20, 2016) was singled out, searched extensively bodily and her bag, for no reason what-so-ever. It was a traumatizing experience for her... needless to say, nothing was found and no explanation was given. The seats recline too far back so that the person behind cannot enjoy what they are watching. The crew has to keep asking the passengers in front to pull their chairs up slightly."

Cons: "To be clear, I do not have an issue with overweight people. That being said, I was put in an extremely uncomforatable position on this flight. My seatmate was a woman who easily weighed 400 pounds without the slightest exageration and was 5'7 at best. She carried all of her weight in her midsection and behind, which was truly uncomforatable for us both. As she attempted to squeeze into the aisle seat it became apparent that with the armrest down it was not going to happen. She raised the armrest and finally maneuvered into her seat and part of mine also. Not only was her bottom in my seat but her stomach was resting on my entire right leg. It felt like a toddler was sitting on my lap. This was beyond uncomfortable and embarrassing for us both as it was clear that she knew how intrusive this was and kept apologizing. My leg went to sleep after about 15 minutes so I asked to be let out. I approached the flight attendent and requested that my seat be changed to which she responded that the flight was full. I know it wasn't because I could see an empty seat about four rows in front of me. Finally I sat back down but every 15 minutes or so she would get uncomforatable and get up to stretch. The first time it was a welcomed break, until she came back and flopped in her seat with so much force that it felt like someone had ran and jumped in my lap. This occurred 4 or 5 times during the flight. I am not sure what the policy is for obese passengers, but it should be relooked. As a passenger I should not be put in a position to address another passengers weight. I also should not have to pay for a seat and only get to use 2/3 of it. Lastly, no one should ever be allowed to put their body parts on top of another persons lap and that be considered ok."

Then the people were rude and told me to come back, so I did about 45 min later and asked again, they were rude again and said come back later. The third time I got s seat assigned but again, they were very rude. Won't fly delta again."

The rude gate employee decides to check my carry on piece to my destination. I explain that I have a14 hour connection and I need the small arty on piece for that flight. I was asked to talk to the other gate employee while they gave my seat away. It's horrible how rude and dismissive they were. I asked for compensation but they started to lie. Apparently I 'gave' up my seat. Once the shift manager started to help me, I thought things would've ok. It got worse. The Delta training took over. Both employees repeated the exact same words about me volunteering my seat so there's no compensation. It cost me a hotel night and 24 hours. I will avoid Delta at all costs... and I know it will be difficult since flying through ATL is pretty much alway Delta. But, it's too much. Lying, rude and dismissive employees at various levels of management. Horrible"
boarding in mumbai was a mess.. It felt like 80% of the flight boarded in the pre boarding section which was meant only for people with special needs and with children. The staff who were checking their documents just did not care if they were supposed to be in this line or not. Lets hope they improve on this

(Un-)fortunaltely there was no movie I really wanted to watch, or classical music for my taste (recitals, chamber music). Anyway, this is not a major problem, just a tiny glitch. Considering I took six flights in this month, I will let it slide that they ran out of New movies. Worst part was food. Obviously, there is no quality consideration when they decide menu. Check Emirates or other similar fare bracket airlines to understand the gravity of Lufthansa food problem. If one reason I had to choose to drop Lufthansa from my future consideration then that would be worst food and drinks. I would strongly recommend that they should assign people who need additional time to board at the back of the plane. It will help them to go back of the plane faster and avoid gridlock in the middle. Another advantage is it will help other passengers leave plane faster at the end of the ride. Boarding process will be come significantly faster by filling the plane from back to front by loading passanger with children and who needs time at the first loading area at the back of the plane. Cons: "One of the boarding crew member in Bucharest, a younger bearded male wearing glasses, was extremely rude to my husband. Boarding started a bit late, and I had to run to the ladies room. The ladies room was crowded and housekeeping was frustrated about the mess left behind by some ladies. Meanwhile my husband was approached by the above described crew member. When my husband told the crew member that I was at the bathroom, the crew member start yelling at my husband stating : I don't care, call her, u are late". When I finally arrived, there were 2 more couples behind us. People were also at the plane's door awaiting to board and find their seats. We were not late. The crew member was totally unprofessional by the way he approached my husband, the tone of his voice and his comments. My husband doesn't speak Romanian and he told me about the incident while walking my towards the plane. I couldn't go back and get the crew member's name."

At that point I just gave up and paid the totally unjust fee. Cons: "I actually lost money because of the misinformation -- was told there was a modification on my flight details and that I had to call the Lufthansa office. I called in and was never told that anything was wrong. I kept trying to check in online and got blocked at every trial... Cut a long story short, I showed up for my Lufthansa flight to only be told I didn't have the required visa for one of my layovers... I missed my flight, got no refund for it and got zero help in finding a solution to my problem. You could do better than that, Lufthansa."
Cons: "Boarding was delayed. Though staff present at the gate, no announcements were made, not communicated to the passengers. All of sudden a big line to board the flight. Entertainment - when compared with other airlines, very few movies available."

Cons: "Sitting behind me plus the seat across from that in center was an adult with two children going to summer camp in US. There were 40 kids and several counselors on this flight. These two kids were much younger (4 or 5yrs) than any others going to camp. One of the kids could not sit still. The adult behind me sometimes held her in her lap which resulted in pushing on my seatback. While in her own seat the child did not have her seat belt on. Eventually the girl began using her arm rests on either side of the aisle to swing herself. I finally mentioned this and the lack of seat belt fastening to F.A. who said "They're from Latvia. These Eastern Europeans don't think about things the way you and I do." The child was blocking the aisle at times and the F.A. did nothing."

Cons: "After we landed the crew diacovet d that we had parked too far from the gate and needed to move the plane. Several passengers were anxious to deplane to connect to another flight and refused to sit down which caused further delays. The crew could have been more stern about passenger conduct as to make the process more efficient."
Cons: "I don't live in Riga and had pick up scheduled in Rigas airport to take me home to Telsiai, Lithuania. Because flight was delayed and I had to fly to Talin and then to RigaI I arrived at 10pm plus took me another 30min to figure out what happened with my luggage. I am still in Riga waiting for the morning to schedule another ride home. Very long , inconvenient trip ;-("

The flight crew during boarding in economy didn't have the push needed to get everyone seated in an efficient manner. The tv screen does not move out far enough to view when the person in front has their seat all the way back. Selection is limited compared to the non stop flight previous from Miami to Helsinki. There isn't an option to view the flight details in flight which is interesting to some passengers. At least have the option."

Outraging policy to offer more bookings than available seats that turned out into my wife and me being put in standby when we had purchased our tickets last July. Waiting for 30-40 minutes to claim our baggage to know it had been left in our origin destination in the end so it would probably be delivered 2 days later since the next flight would arrive the following day but late in the evening and more time wasted on the lane to claim for it that caused to miss our connecting train that would take us home and we had to wait for another hour to take the next so we finally got home 2 hours later than expected. We will never use again another company from the one world alliance."

Overall the the whole experience was very mediocre from check in to service on the plane. The food was not at the business class level. Looks like BA is at the bottom of the barrel compared to other carriers offering the same business class service. Will never fly business on BA.

Seats were dated (seat cushions), plane was dated, inflight entertainment systems dated (compared to most other airlines). Crew goofed up on food. I had a seat change which I informed the Sr Purser who came to take food order, his colleague who came to serve drinks. Still the server gave my food to the other passenger who had requested to change seats. Which resulted in no food for me. They clamoured some meal fro economy class and served so shabbily (only a pic can show how shabby it was - unfortunately I can't attach one here). In spite of all this the purser showed no remorse or offered no apology. I think I made a mistake in choosing BA, should have never come back to them."

I didn’t enjoy freezing and staying there in Heathrow freezing... plus I didn’t fly this flight home due to fears of them not being able to handle a coating of snow versus what loads of snow we recieve in the states. I had to take Air India home to the US AND HATED IT... thank you BA and especially Heathrow Number one for lack of response and total irresponsibility..."

Cons: "On the return flight back from London to Las Vegas, I sat at an economy class aisle exit seat on a 747. The flip up TV set wasn't working. One flight attendant initially offered to move me to a cheaper less desirable seat, which I declined. I asked for at least an exit row seat of any sort. A second (more senior) flight attendant then promised he will either fix the TV (by resetting it) or find an acceptable alternative so I "won't need to go the entire flight with a TV." But he never returned and the TV never worked. I didn't fuss because I slept and read instead, but I thought this was a poor follow up and follow through on his part."
