Pros: "I like the dealing of staff members"
Cons: "Didn’t like behavior of Dubai airport’s staff. They were too rude and Newark wheelchairs helper were asking for too much tips. Are they allowed to ask for tips and speak rudely with senior citizens. Please give attention towards these problems"

Moreover one of our family member had wheel chair assistance they never provided wheel chair at Dubai airport reason being they said they have shortage of wheel chairs. Such a bad experience we had !! I will never recommend anyone to travel with Emirates."

Pros: "The overall experience was good from boarding to disembark. emirates is a quality airline with affordable pricing. Planes were neat and clean cabin crew did their job at their best."
Cons: "In some instances their was a shortage of food option. Although the menu said you could have a choice but some of the choices were exhausted by the time crew served it to the half of the travellers and the rest have to eat whatever was leftover. I think Emirates should stock a bit more of the food especially on a plane like Airbus 380. Its a huge aircraft and passengers sting at the vey end had to wait almost 45 min to 1 hr to get their food and that too was whatever leftover. They should make efforts to server all the passengers within a short amount to time rather than keep them waiting for so long. Most of the time more than half of the passengers had already eaten while those sitting in the back were still waiting for their food. Its not cabin crew's inefficiency but rather a policy problem that needs to be addressed."

Pros: "The in-flight entertainment was good, with many, many options to choose from. The headphones provided were certainly more comfortable than anything I have experienced on other airlines."
Cons: "The boarding process is chaotic. Especially so in Dubai. Moreover, they do not allow a laptop bag in addition to the normal carry-on baggage. Every other airline I have flown allows this. What is even more frustrating is that a women's purse is allowed, so I saw women carrying giant bags with their laptops, etc. in those bags, whereas I had to stuff mine into my carry-on briefcase. This is not normal (as in, other airlines allow it), is not mentioned in the ticket, not mentioned while given the boarding pass, BUT is strictly enforced at the very last minute right before entering the plane."

We all expect to have to wait our turn but it's incredibly frustrating when 1) the system isn't fair (eg splitting a queue into two then allowing those behind you to go to the front of a new line) and 2) treating us like second class by drawing a curtain in front of our faces so Business class people don't have to see us when they disembark."

Cons: "I didn't like the crew, the main fact was that they forgot about me, they offers everyone else drinks (skipped me) they handed out everyone food (skipped me). I asked a passing crew member for just some water and I got incredible attitude and the guy totally didn't come back with anything, after everyone got their food and the crew disappeared I rang for them and it took them to the point of grabbing everyone's left overs to come by and see what I was asking for, and when I informed them they skipped me and I didn't get anything not even a drink, they said they didn't skip me and they passed out all the food to each person. At that point it was obvious to prove them wrong with everyone around me done eating and I didn't even have a cup or plate. Then they said I didn't want food when they came by............ -_- I'm not an idiot and I wasn't asleep the entire flight which they asked and after a bit of pointless argument they finally gave me some food. It was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with customer service in my life and emerits is the front page of it."

Cons: "The flight from Dubai to New Delhi was delayed due to some aircraft problem. As a result, we missed our train connection in Delhi. The ground crew as well as flight attendants assured us that since it was Emirates' "fault", we would be compensated by Emirates. At Delhi airport we were met by a lady who said that she was the person in charge and no such compensation would be forthcoming. This resulted in a unforeseen hardship for our family of four. Other than this unfortunate experience, we had a pleasant experience."

(It was there DEL to Istanbul, but not Istanbul to MIA). So, the chief made a grilled veggie plate for me that was excellent. Crew was very polite and handled the situation in a friendly & professional manner."

The woman next to me was rather large, took up a lot of real estate (took up her seat and overflowed onto mine) and was unfriendly. It was impossible for me to get up, or to stretch. I was unable to return to work today due to sciatica problems related to flight seating. (I checked with the flight drew. The plane was full. There were no aisle seats available even if I could afford to upgrade to another class.)"

Cons: "In Delhi the flight was canceled due to a technical issue. Staff did not try to book us on another flight and they could not communicate when we would leave. They just told us we had to go to the hotel. After waiting approximately 8 hours in the airport, it took an hour to go back through immigration, another hour to get our luggage, another hour to get on buses, then 45 minutes to the hotel. Once there, the hotel was not prepared for us. The buffet was out of food and couldn't make more because they had to prepare for dinner. It took another hour just to check into the room and I couldn't get the Internet for the first two hours. The day was full of standing in lines being herded like cattle from one place to another with no information. I called Turkish airlines to try to find out when the flight was rescheduled but no one could tell me anything. At 11 at night the hotel told me to come down and get on the bus. I told them it would take 10 minutes to repackage my things, and they said that was too long. I rushed and got on the bus and then sat on the bus for an hour before it left for the airport. Then I was late for the flight, I had to cut in front of people inthe security line and run through the airport. Once at the gate, they hadn't even started to board, and once we were aboard, we sat on the plane for over an hour before taking off. My original layover was 3 hours but now it's 7 hours. Turkish Airlines never apologized or were able to communicate anything accurately. I paid extra money for this ticket however it set me back in time and I'm so exhausted It will take me much longer to recover. I will never fly Turkish airlines again."

Cons: "A330 is WAY to tight in the seating department! Goodness. For a two hour or less flight it would have been fine, but this was 7 hours of way to tight. Okay, I'm six foot one, but really, we were so close that when the person in front of me reclined ... which he did for almost the whole flight ... I could barely focus on the TV screen a few inches from my face."

Pros: "All the full service airlines are pretty good in the air. But what sets apart Lufthansa is it's ground staff. On the previous occasion I had left behind my waist bag on the seat containing passports, cash and cards. Their lost and found desk retrieved it quickly, absolutely intact. On the last occasion, my mother in law, who is over 85 was taken care of very well at not only Delhi but especially at the Frankfurt airport. I must truly acknowledge young lady Jessica's efforts, in ensuring that everything was handled very caringly by her personally, for an old lady at the Frankfurt airport."

Cons: "Security in Frankfurt was overwhelmed, so we were transferred to a set of security gates which is very far from the A gates. Had to take 2 slow elevators (no escalators!), go through the underground walkway connecting B and A sections and finally walk to one of the outermost gates to board. We were bused; our bus waited next to the plane for quite a long time full of people and without AC. It was a very unpleasant experience."

But when I went to the counter, my seat was changed without my consent (to a worse seat), and I was told that the online process wasn't complete!! Then the website should say accordingly. It's really annoying when this happens. I think the ground crew in New Delhi duped me. At one point, my call button for my meal was ignored for ~30 minutes on the plane. And then I was told there was no more chicken, and handed a veggie wrap. One wonders whether I could have gotten chicken 30 minutes ago!"

In the economy/coach cabin, they squeeze the seat distances to such an extent that, when the person in front of you leans their chair back, you cannot get out of your seat at an upright angle. You have to significantly bend your body. To not loose your balance, you have to grab on to the seat in front of you and that disturbs the other passenger. If they're sleeping, they can be woken up by that. Lufthansa does not care much for its passengers. Nor do many other companies, for that matter, but I think Lufthansa is taking things further than most airlines. It is a disgrace. Their brand is not what it once was."

Cons: "No prior information was given about the requirement of a Schengen visa to travel between Munich and Frankfurt. At the time of check in I was informed that i cannot travel and either need to go back home or purchase a full price ticket on the spot. It was the worst experience of my life !! Worst behavior exhibited by the airport Lufthansa staff at Delhi airport. Least considerate. It felt like extortion of money. I have had missed flights before and the airline has always taken care of me but this was just terrible. Worst was that this happens on a regular basis and yet customers are not informed of a need for a Schengen visa. Finally after begging and begging i had to pay to get on a flight to Frankfurt."

She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

My poor rating was because the luggage handling was really poor. Lots of flights from Paris to Amsterdam (almost hourly), but my bag showed up 12 hours later. My wife's bag took 36 hours. And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"

Even then it took them two days to bring it to us, two precious days off our planned vacation (7 days) At the end of the shortened vacation, we got to the chek in, and told that since the ticket I had purchased form them two months earlier was too cheap ... and since the flight was Over booked, they would take me off the plane if all the passengers would arrive. It's unnecessary to describe what I felt until the plane took off. They apologize constantly, but do nothing practical. a bae company. no me nor my freinds/family will go with KLM"

So it's one thing that you have to cancel the flight because of fog; but rebooking us the next day on a flight through New York that doesn't exist, was way below the standard of care I would expect from any airline. Apparently, the NY to LAX flight that KLM booked us on, was only one leg of the flight to Sydney Australia; and according to some airline agreement, only Australian nationals are permitted to take that flight! Running around at JFK from terminal four, to terminal seven, to terminal eight, back to terminal four, to get a flight out, was a bit much considering how tired we were – not to mention hungry, since KLM neglected to provide the kosher meals we had requested with plenty of time – BOTH going to and returning from Europe."

Where were the cabin crew during the delay? They may have not been onboard given their lack of visibility during the delay. The only time they appeared was to distribute a cutlet of water and a packet of dry biscuits. Inflight, apart from the meal service routines, on this 13+ hour flight the crew were notable for not being visible."

Contact to executing airline KLM very difficult, because the case-nr. on the "lost-luggage-form" was unreadable. but without this number, you can do nothing, because it almost impossible to get someone on the phone at KLM. Mostly you talk to computers. Obviously the phone is oldfashioned and you need twitter and facebook. Poor service, KLM So you can have a pleasant flight, but if you need service, you are lost."

Cons: "After status flyers boarded first, general boarding call was for all remaining passengers together! First time in my experience a full wide-body aircraft boarding was not by row. Predictably, the process was slow and chaotic. Last minute switch from a 777 to an older, non-refurbished 747-400. Entertaiment system contents are still great, but the screen is dim and outdated by today's standards. But I would just fill this as luck of the draw."

Sitting in exit row with no floor storage so this delay made it hard to find overhead storage above my seat. (Grrrr) Entertainment system didn't work which made the flight feel LOOONG. (They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."

We would have chosen to not sit together rather than endure that had we been given the option. Also, the menu they distributed said they serve ice cream but we asked and then didn't have any. Don't get my hopes up!"
