First class payment but wife’s seat broken, would recline but not lay flat. On previous flight, delays and ground crew malfunctions connecting jetway made us miss flight to Houston. I asked twice for a cart to assist us getting across the massive Istanbul Airport, but was denied. We are both over 70.
My mother got sick and dying and i have to change my flight and they charged me $2260 that is redisclose.
Flight canceled and uncanceled. I had already rebooked and so have to pay for both. No one is willing to admit fault
Process for on line checking needs a lot of improvement. Very frustrating.
They use a smaller international plane and quarters are tighter, space smaller, and the flight is still 12 hours, then fight attendants are ruff, food is bad, cherry juice spilled by flight attendant and she comes back to ask why have we not changed yet could it be we didn’t have any clothes to change into and seat is all wet and we had to sit there for 12 hours
Better attitude training for staff at airport, better training for flight attendants, better food, don’t put us with all the crying babies that cried nonstop for 12 plus hours.
Crew announced boarding started and they asked passengers to form a queue. Actual boarding didn’t start and queue was not moving for around 40-50 mins. Very poor management.
My whole body was paining after such long flight. Seats are small. Leg space is too small. Food is good.

Didn't have bar code on our phone based boarding pass. People at the counter didn't notice. We walked to security, couldn't get through, had to go back to check in to get a paper boarding pass.
I got an email from Lufthansa saying that because the flight was full, I could check my cabin bag for free. When I tried to do that, I got charged $75 because it was 'overweight'. Other people who did not check their bags didn't get their bags (that were much larger than mine) weighed. Nor were they denied boarding. This is a scam, right? Expect to see this review EVERYWHERE!
Great seats assigned and comfortable, movies are good, food is delicious, great experience. No delays and they prioritize boarding children with parents which is plus.
Unfortunately, the flight departure was delayed over one hour due to the aircraft used arriving late. Boarding was tedious because of the transit bus taking us to a remote area of the tarmac. Once aboard the crew was very accommodating and did well under more stress than usual. Turbulence caused a delay in meal service. Flight Attendant Anson was very helpful, respectful, and attentive to me and others around me. To be very clear, this was a code share flight on United, UA 181. They were very clear to us all to let those customers with a shortened layover time to their connecting flight to be allowed to exit first.

My flight was canceled. New flight is 40 hours later and I still didn’t get the flight from Frankfurt to Zagreb.

Great service. The flight was in great condition and the staff was very cheerful.
Check in crew in Charlotte NC was superb. There were 6 of them plus what looked like a supervisor, helping to answer questions and keep things moving. Never saw so many check in crew. Then some of them showed up at the gate later for boarding. Great. The flight was mediocre. The seats were small with little leg room. The screens kept coming on when we were trying to sleep and wouldn’t shut off. I know we paid far less than first class but does that mean we should be shoved in there??
