How can such a reputed airline have no tools to calculate the pay? Other airlines offered one-way for half of the price i paid. On top of it, online helpdek promised front line seat to satisfy me but nothing was offered even if i ask explicitly. Simply declined saying i am not in priority list. Why do they make false promises? Friends, Just don't fly for food ....."

I said iwas not charged extra at miami why you are charging extra here ,they said rules are different at miami but in hyderabad this is the case I am very much frustrated on this service ,atleast once in a year i will travell on qatar from next time i never prefer to travel on this carrier. Apart from one grumpyish woman on the second flight the majority of crew were exceptional and really went out of their way to serve and help."
Cons: "I slashed my finger fairly painfully on a toilet door while pushing it from the outside to open it on the Dubai to Cape Town flight [again, an upgrade on my home flight which is a bucket list dream would more than make up for that!] which i pointed out to a flight attendant and they took note of it and bandaged me up so it was dealt with well but hopefully that gets sorted out [she said she would write a report] cos it did unfortunately affect the rest of my flight a little... And so many crying babies [thankful for volume control on headphones] but literally that was it - love flying Emirates cos on the whole felt super well treated..."

But we got the tickets issued through web jet. With the recent travel ban we wanted to reschedule our tickets. And then the whole problem unravelled. We called kayak to reschedule. Kayak team said its not their responsibility and forwarded me to Web jet. We called emirates directly but they said since we booked tickets via Web jet they will be able to help. So we called Web jet and they charged a hefty 250-300$ extra to what Emirates would have charged for difference in pay. They said its basically the processing fee. We were disappointed as the reason for postponing was not in our hands, and the fact that kayak passed the buck to Web jet in dealing with the issue. If we had bought our tickets directly from Emirates the process would have been very smooth."

I was told I can only take one bag. This caused me to change my plans on what I can carry on my two small bags. This is also the reason why had to take a small handbag to keep everything I needed. I lost this bag at New Delhi airport. Had I been allowed the the standard tote and a laptop bag I may not have needed the extra hand bag and may not have lost my items. Emirates associate is partailly responsible for my lost items."

Cons: "We arrived onetime yet Emirates did not have a gate at SFO so we were parked on the tarmac for over an hour after a 16 hours flight. When we got thru immigration in record time due to the newly installed kiosks, we waited for 2.5hours to get our luggage, there was only one carousel open for an entire A380 airplane with all its luggage and the boxes were piling up on each other, some of them were crushed due to overloading, it took them 2 hours to open a second carousel to offload all of the bags. During this entire time, the Emirates representatives were unhelpful, the local SFO personnel were quite disorganized as well."

I have been suffering from Back pain since several years, underwent surgery. I had to walk a larger distance at LHR to hotel and back to to catch flight. Cons: "For the 2nd time, neither me or my husband got our food choice...it has happened everytime we have flown. And we purchased full fare business class seats! I can understand once and maybe for one of us but it has happened EVERY time. MOST IMPORTANTLY, I sadly left my laptop onboard and I called the number for SFO BA Lost and Found for 48 hours....every 20 minutes. NO ONE answered and no one returned my messages. I finally had to drive back to the airport to talk to a human....a 5 hr round trip. No laptop turned in and it didn't turn back up in London. So clearly, cleaning crew stole it. That in its own right is a problem but NO ONE returning my calls. Completely unacceptable. I got the duty manager's email and emailed him TWICE over TWO days before he returned my email. I highly doubt I will fly BA again, I'm afraid."

Such as asking all passengers to remain seated allowing connecting passengers off the plane first. Something I've seen done on many other airlines numerous times."

That's what BA claimed, anyway. It had been a mystery as to why we could not check in on line so we knew something was wrong. Could not easily pick up phone to correct while in UK. FINALLY, BECAUSE OF LATE CHECKIN, SEATS WERE MIDDLE MIDDLE in a giant airbus jet and quite a bit less desirable than we usually get by checking in early and arriving early. Overall a disappointment, tho we arrived safely and nearly on time."

My vegetarian meal, although confirmed with the gate agent, did not appear on the flight attendant's list. No reading materials were distributed. We were served a glass of water, nothing more special than that, and possibly that wasn't until after takeoff. I felt like the only thing that made it business class was that the chair went horizontal, there was ample personal space, and my food was served on a white tablecloth."

The male employee grappled my passport and boarding pass and insisted that I follow him and check through the Indian Passport immigration line though I am an American citizen with a US passport. Then taken quite some distance to a back room where two male employees stared at me and wrote down my passport number and name in a log book. My passport and boarding pass were repeatedly taken and held without my permission. After checking thru customs, I was among the first to arrive at the designated gate 36 which was initially closed . When boarding time arrived, I was among the first on line to board. I was again pulled out of line and prevented from boarding until way past the last boarding call with no clear explanation. I am a 72 year old RN and was suffering from severe bronchitis and a head injury sustained on acsidewalk In the town of Solan while searching fur an ATM. No accommodations were provided for my age or physical condition. The unexplained, rude and cruel conduct by Air India employees constituted elder abuse. I feel an apology and a refund are the least that Air India needs to provide considering their cruel behavior. I would advise all seniors especially women to avoid flying Air India."

To make it worse, the screen's would not even turn off, so there was constant light as the computer cycled through some failed start-up sequence. It was horrible because I just wanted to sleep at that point, but there was a non-functional screen in my face. Also, the flight attendees were nowhere to be found except at scheduled food times and when asked about the entertainment units they offered basically no sympathy or help. Lastly, the overhead reading lights would randomly turn on and off and didn't respond to the controlled. As an Air India frequent flyer, I am very disappointed and don't plan on EVER booking them again and you can be certain I will spread the word via social media. Their 777 plane is so old and run down, hardly anything works and the seats are uncomfortable."

Cons: "So many things. Pretty much the entire experience was poor/mediocre. Baggage drop took 45 minutes, even though we had already done web checkin. The food was OK, but very limited options were available. The crew was terrible. They basically did the bare minimum and then just disappeared into their quarters. No crew member was available for any kind of assistance for most of the flight. I asked for a second cup of tea and all I got was a snub. The crew acted as if they were doing us a favor by serving us. Unbelievable! The controls on the entertainment system barely functioned. The selection was mediocre and outdated. The plane overall was not maintained very well. The seats looked dirty. There was no wifi for any other modern amenities on the plane (e.g. power outlets). I basically cannot think of anything positive to say about pathetic Air India. As an Indian, I really wish they would do better."

Two of the bathrooms were broken on the flight, leaving only two bathrooms for the entire flight, so had to wait in a half-hour queue each time I had to use the bathroom. Seats were uncomfortable and staff was inattentive and didn't seem to care."
