They wanted to make us take an electric car unless we paid more money even though another person there took the electric car so they charged us more money to take a car. That was the only one available. The car was empty no gas. And smelled like marijuana.

I drove an hour to go pick up the car. Not only today not have a car in my class. They didn’t have any cars at all. I ended up spending another two hours looking for a car available at the last minute and all other hertz try to charge me double but I found one with enterprise.

Car hard to find on dirt lot. Car unwashed and covered with thick dust. Long line to get car. I rented a manual and got an EV- hybrid which I had no way to charge.

When we arrived we were told they might not have a car and that is extremely stressful when you are headed out for vacation. The front desk told us about how she would have to clean a vehicle and she had no help and just a lot of information customers don’t need to know. She said it was full of gas and when we went to leave for our trip we realized it only had 1/4 of a tank which led to an additional stop. She did correct this for us when we returned.

The car I reserved wasn’t available at pickup. And after I did everything online to pick up my car, I still had to wait in line. Then the service agent wanted to me re-register online even though their site wasn’t working. It was a mess and took forever. Super inefficient staff.

As a gold member which anyone can be just by signing up, you can rent the car online then when you get to your destination you just find your name on the board, pick your car from the area you chose online and keys are waiting. You simply drive away. No lines. No waiting. Cameras inspect the car on the way out and back in when you drop it off. No waiting.
