I was asked to wait for almost an hour and a half to get my documents cleared for my travel to dubai. After all that wait I was asked to sign an Indemnity form stating that I'll be responsible for any penalties whatsoever from Dubai Immigration if denied entry in dubai. The staff don't even know the rules and have behaved so dumb while dealing with passenger and have zero knowledge about document checks. Either the airline needs to get them more trained before getting them on the floor or needs to take strict action against them. Because wasting my time at the Mumbai airport was not so entertaining for me and the airline did not even seem apologetic about it. Vistara has hired some really unprofessional and uneducated staff at their Mumbai station."

All Indian airlines are super cheap and low quality--with Vistara at least I did not get pushed around during boarding and getting-off. Traveling by air in India in economy class is like traveling in a greyhound bus. If you are from the US and 30+ year old avoid the Economy class."

Anyway we missed flight from Delhi to Amritsar. We bought new one way ticket from the airport that evening. We were 5 adults and one baby visiting Golden temple from USA."

Cons: "Three things : 1) The crew seemed to be relatively inexperienced and just out of college. I observed a couple of informal communication exchanges from their part. But the crew were helpful and tried their best to provide the best customer experience. 2) The boarding process normally starts with business and premium class and then followed by economy. For my flight however the economy class was boarded first while the business class passengers were kept stranded waiting in a separate line. This also reflected the inexperience of the crew which handled the boarding. 3) Vistara was my connecting flight from Pune to Delhi followed by British airways flight from Delhi to London. Though the flights were booked under one ticket, the representative did not checkin my luggage throughout the journey due to which I had to collect my baggage at Delhi and check it in again. The representative explained that vistara still didn't have alliances with most airlines allowing luggage to be checked in till final destination. This is another front on which they can improve."

This really felt like a scam! We asked to cancel the flight and were told we could, but there was no guarantee of any refund. We said to cancel it anyway. Later I was told there would be no refund. I assumed it had been canceled and yet I got emails telling me it was time to check in, etc. And then I’m asked to review my flight! So, between Indigo and Kiwi.com I felt I got terrible service. I will not use either of them again. In the end we got a flight for the original amount including 15kg of checked baggage from a different website and on a different airline that left at the exact same. There was a reasonable charge per 5 kg over the15 allowed."

Typical Indigo Crew The flight was delayed and the on time with Indigo is anyways a misnome, the announcement was made only an hour or so before departure. Poor service."

In fact, we were using flight rather than train to save time and it ended up costing us 5 hours between waiting and flight. - There was no food available on the flight apart from food that one should buy at an extra cost."

Regarding the review which mentions paying for additional baggage with Kiwi.com - I also tried to book additional baggage with them. I paid for the service but was then sent an email and told I could not book additional baggage through their website and should use the Spicejet website. I contacted Spicejet customer service who were very helpful and efficient and booked the additional baggage with them without any problems. The issue is with Kiwi.com and not Spicejet. Based on this experience I would definitely fly with Spicejet again."

We had to hire a cab from Jaisalmer to Dekhi. A 17 hours drive. No compensation from spicejet. Never bank on Spicejet."

The entertainment system wasn’t working for me for a paid seat and unfortunately they also couldn’t turn it off completely until half of my journey and finally they covered the monitors with blankets to stop the light so that we were able to sleep just for 3 hours out of 15 hour journey. Again this is for a paid seat and they proudly say it’s the same issue for atleast 40% of the seats"

The trays were all broken and the media systems worked about half of the time. The air vent was full of black mold and I was cut by a broken seat. The staff at the check in desk, gate and on board were all rude. Beverage service was only offered once the entire flight. I would strongly urge anyone needing to get to Delhi to not fly air India or this specific flight."

Can't comment about onboard service as I was comfortably sleeping during both trips and chose to skip it. On my previous trip from Kochi to Dubai last month, the flight reached Dubai 40 mins ahead of the schedule. I would highly recommend this service over Emirates flight to Kochi."

Bathrooms are not kept clean by staff."

The toilets were at the end of the aircraft so every service was interrupted by people wanting to use the washroom. If the service will tale 1 hour out of 2 and half hour flight you cant expect people not to go to the washroom. An elderly gentleman was asked to sit on the crew seat near emergency exit. It was difficult for him to eat. A group of 7 people and were separated in seats and they were not handled properly as they created a chaos in the flight. They were a big disturbance to all."

Cons: "Air India ground staff were scant, and there were only 2 check-in counters provided for 4 Air India flights! As a result, check-in alone took over an hour - totally unacceptable service. Then it took over 2 hours to clear immigration and security. Certainly the airline can't control much of this delay - but representatives of other airlines were expediting passengers in line for their own flights, whereas Air India passengers were left to fend for themselves. So passengers on much later flights than us were being guided to the immigration counter ahead of us - resulting in the hour and half delay in taking off."
