Cons: The flight was delayed 1.5 hrs. Causing me to barely make it to my transfer. Air India is notoriously bad on punctuality

Cons: Delaying the flight by 35 minutes meant I would likely miss my connection. I booked another flight just in case for an hour and a half later. Then delays departing mean that I almost missed my second flight. Thanks to lead cabin crew's assistance and the ground crew at HKIA I made the connection to Shanghai by a minute or two. Boarding was a bit disorganized.

Cons: The online check in wasn’t working and so the only seats available were the worst. I was told by staff that the website is often not working so you have to keep trying over and over. This is very time consuming and inconvenient. I was directed to the general boarding queue despite having a business class ticket. Food service was only after takeoff then there were no snacks available for about eight hours. Some of the televisions were not working. There was a drip from the air conditioner in the adjacent seat. Cabin crew did not respond to calls sometimes. The seat was uneven when reclining.

Cons: There was no flight information working. Food was way too less in terms of both quantity and frequency (number of meals).

Cons: There is a lot of difference between flights experience from San Francisco to Delhi and Delhi, India to San Francisco. India to San Francisco was little better. Service was very poor. Food was not on time and quality and quantity was poor. Get your own stuff to save yourself from starving.

Pros: We didn't like anything. We booked the ticket in advance, and they didn't inform us about the time change (plane departed 2 hours earlier than the mentioned time in the ticket). On top of that, the staffs were rude and blamed us for missing flight. After a lengthy discussion, they booked for the next flight. For the next flight (1 am), we waited for the wheelchair after getting the ticket to get to the TSA clearance area before boarding the aircraft. After 2 hours wait, one of the airport staff asked to walk to the security area (several senior passengers had difficulty walking) because it was too close to the boarding time, and no one came with the wheelchair. Very disappointing experience with Air India!

Cons: Everything from the basic! The staff surely needs a prompt training in customer service and teach them how to communicate courteously with customers. Need more training to handle issues similar to what we faced, learn how to escalate to their supervisors rather than standing and smiling, and saying that "we cannot do anything at this time." Teach them how to offer free upgrades in this situation, even for the next flight or future flights.

Cons: The food was terrible and I got food poisoning. When I collected my luggage at the baggage terminal, someone in charge of food or luggage had spilled curry sauce ALL OVER my suitcase - I had to throw it away. Many of the in-flight screens didn’t work, and the stewardesses were lazy and inattentive.

Cons: We were told luggage to be collected at vasco de gama. It was unloaded at Bangalore. We then had 13 hours stuck in the airport with our luggage. Had our luggage not been unloaded, as expected, we would have a bit more freedom to move about. My luggage tickets had come off so I had to re-check in in. They then gave me the wrong labels saying i had to check in at internationals. This caused terrible chaos and they did not seem to understand when I tried to explain that going from Bangalore to vasco de gama was domestic. Other than that a pleasant journey.
