Less short story, 4 airlines, 3 security screenings and 2 customs stop points.7 delays, 2 cancels and 1 miss. It was a ping pong nightmare and 2 times it was suggested i take a bus...after i spent the money on a plane ticket with no offer of compensation, food vouchers or hotel accommodation. Delta has to convince me to come back to them."

I've had to purchase a new set of luggage AND will have to pay for them on my next 2 legs on Delta. I apologise for seeming so harsh as I know you've had so much trouble because of the tornadoes, but this leg of my trip cost me an additional $800.00 plus AUD and I was here in the US to care for my father who recently had a 2nd heart attack and my final days in USA were meant to be a holiday, and all I can say is the stress because these expenses have removed any enjoyment (I know I'm looking at this half empty, not half full). Cons: "Due to the construction in the airport, there is a small area for this group of people to be ready to board, therefore, it was very difficult to move or get around, Suggest that employees give more instructions about boarding procedures and suggest that people line up accordingly in the right order. They should explain the order of entry, and ask for people who are the last group to stay back so that those who board first are allowed through."

Cons: "First time my knees have touched the seat in front of me (I'm 5-10). Not sure how much more airlines can squeeze us in. Good seat recline is great if everyone is reclining, if not you will have someone in your lap. Had to ask person in front of me to not recline during meal. What really bothered me though was paying for a reserved seat and finding out we had been moved to the dreaded back row due to an equipment change. Strongly suggest passenger notification for this move. Was able to re-reserve seats on check in but there were some significant angst when I found out about this mischief."

For example, I did not know, when boarding, if we had to show our passports, but I asked him and we did not. I did not grasp the five levels of boarding he mentioned. I knew our group was not handicapped and we were economy, but I did not really know if we were group 4 or 5 to board."
Cons: "There was one female steward who made me take my carry on bag from the upper deck and store it below my seat so another lady's much, much larger bag would fit. Her bag was so large, I can't believe it met the standards. On the other hand, this procedure may be the way things work out,for the good of everyone, but it came as a surprise to me. To accomplish the task, she even asked another female to move her carry on from the rack above her to another several rows down. This lady's hair was too big for such a small plane. She talked way too fast in the first monologue. The plane seemed cheap and the sub airline had an air outlet that would not turn off and leaked with water mist. There was an air conditioner that also had a water vapor leak overhead, which my son said was a 'strip' which he could not control. We were seating in the back row. We noticed the plane was operated by Mesa airlines and the plane was assembled in Brazil, giving me a feeling of excessive cost cutting. Also, the pilot had an accent that sort of added to the 'Brazil' thing that he was not a native English speaker. However, he had a good landing at Atlanta near midnight. I did not feel I was on a real 'United' Airlines flight."

Cons: "I actually lost money because of the misinformation -- was told there was a modification on my flight details and that I had to call the Lufthansa office. I called in and was never told that anything was wrong. I kept trying to check in online and got blocked at every trial... Cut a long story short, I showed up for my Lufthansa flight to only be told I didn't have the required visa for one of my layovers... I missed my flight, got no refund for it and got zero help in finding a solution to my problem. You could do better than that, Lufthansa."

For as much as the flight cost, it was very disappointing to not have a properly functioning entertainment system to help pass the time on such a long flight"

Cons: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Fortunately the pilot made up for the delay (probably costing the airline thousands in fuel). It seems these days that every KLM flight I take is delayed. This stretch goes back to 2015! Yet KLM prides itself as being punctual. Not the KLM that I have been flying!"

She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."

Pros: "SFO - CDG (Air France) was a great journey in all respects. But the one major reason for that was, the middle seat was empty. I was so fresh after the journey, would definitely recommend this flight to anyone."

I was in the middle seat next to an inattentive octanegarian who was nice but kept calling the flight crew to fix her mess up of the video system. No air controls on this plane - so it was overly warm. 10 hours of overly warm makes for a stinky passenger. Oof."

Cons: "I paid for a"premium" seat on one of the emergency exit rows for the extra legroom. This was next to a galley. The seat itself was no more than 18" wide (NO EXAGGERATION!!) if not less. I had to sit on an angle (one butt cheek at a time) for 9 yours. I do not have a big butt either. This seat should have been a discounted seat, not a premium seat. I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again."

Pros: "We were on a 9 hour flight which is pretty exhausting on its own. However, Air France provided you with a pillow and blanket, as well as headphones, so that you can make the best of the long trip."
Cons: "The chairs, for whatever reason, after just not that comfortable. Too squishy and they make noise when you adjust your position. I fidget a lot on flights so I felt like I was making a lot of noise. Also the plane didn't have cold air, do you get toasty pretty quick."

Cons: "I think I caught a stomach bug on one of the 3 legs of this route. More likely on last 2, i.e. Mumbai to RDU, as I fell sick almost 10-12 hrs after my last flight meal."

She also asked everyone around me if they liked their flight but did not ask me. She basically threw my coffee condiments at me and dismissed my concerns about the food. I was unsure if the fruit was expired and she quickly dismissed my question without any real explanation."

Not only did they serve me well, but perhaps even more importantly, they created a great atmosphere in the cabin with the cheerful, playful rapport they had with each other. Cons: "I took a BA flight after a while. I had stopped flying BA in flight service and comfort was poor. I travel business class. Seats were dated (seat cushions), plane was dated, inflight entertainment systems dated (compared to most other airlines). Crew goofed up on food. I had a seat change which I informed the Sr Purser who came to take food order, his colleague who came to serve drinks. Still the server gave my food to the other passenger who had requested to change seats. Which resulted in no food for me. They clamoured some meal fro economy class and served so shabbily (only a pic can show how shabby it was - unfortunately I can't attach one here). In spite of all this the purser showed no remorse or offered no apology. I think I made a mistake in choosing BA, should have never come back to them."

Cons: "I was not happy with the ground staff in Mumbai, for not sending my baggage directly to Toronto, which was my last stop. I had to go through the whole process of checking in again in Montreal, where I could have missed my connecting flight to Toronto. I think your BA staff in Mumbai should be trained better, thanks."

Pros: "Crew were good, the food was mediocre when they served lunch - but then there was nothing more to eat until nearly the end of a 9 hour flight, by which time it was past 10.30pm back in London. At that point, all that was offered was half a sandwich and a biscuit."
Cons: "In-flight entertainment didn't work at first, and then when it started, kept on threatening to shut itself down every time I moved. The selection was ok but nothing compared to other airlines. The screen was tiny and low resolution. The seats were old - the same ones as when BA introduced their premium economy back in 2000. The aircraft was desperately in need of a refresh."

Cons: "Just the fact that BA decided to hold us in UK for 6 hours to get their full pay and the fact that Heathrow ground crew had not enough de icing equipment and resources were at an all time poor response. Three hour lines for checking on status of bags, status of flights, unable to book a hotel through BA and got nothing from them. I didn’t enjoy freezing and staying there in Heathrow freezing... plus I didn’t fly this flight home due to fears of them not being able to handle a coating of snow versus what loads of snow we recieve in the states. I had to take Air India home to the US AND HATED IT... thank you BA and especially Heathrow Number one for lack of response and total irresponsibility..."

Of course, crew would not accommodate any changes. ** Why should I ever choose BA again? ** (Seriously, I'd like to hear your answer.) Food nutrition -- generally tasty, but carb-heavy, fatty and salty. A de facto salad meal option would have been appreciated."

Cons: "I get a very limited amount of time to visit my girlfriend who is currently living back at home in England and spent nearly two hours sitting on the plane following the landing and then another two hours or so waiting for my bag to show up and finally filled out info to have it sent to me so that I wasn't wasting any further amount of time on a plane or in the airport. With limited service it was just an overall terrible experience, for my girlfriend even more so than me, as she began to get worried during the delay in the flight arrival up until I got into the airport and got service so that I was able to explain the delay and that I would be out soon. Which wasn't the case since I continued waiting for my bag to arrive for the next couple hours. What should've been a time of joy being reunited with my girlfriend turned into a time of stress for all involved and several hours overdue."
