Had purchased premium ticket with priority boarding (so, boarding was smooth), luggage came out faster, but food was a disaster. I categorically selected/pre-booked NON-VEG meal, but on flight I was handed over "Veg Meal". Duh!

The boarding flight is painful experience, starting from entering the airport (poor training to staff to verify the identity and ticket details), standing at the counter to check in the baggage (extremely slow). Once boarded, it’s a pleasant experience. The crew is polite and patient.
Flight got delayed and was declared before half an hour. It’s not fair with those who are loyal with Indigo.
The paneer served was so hard.
No one seemed to bother about the pandemic and moreover no one checked if the passengers are fully vaccinated or not. Not a single pandemic rule is being followed.

I will not use either of them again. In the end we got a flight for the original amount including 15kg of checked baggage from a different website and on a different airline that left at the exact same. There was a reasonable charge per 5 kg over the15 allowed."

In fact, they (Nok) have NEVER weighed my carry on bag. Such a shame as the rest of the flight experience was above average. This hardline approach will be an issue if they continue until they beat their customers into taking or leaving it in my opinion. Only at this crappy subpar excuse for an airport, they live by no rules and want to charge $300USD - more than double what was charged at Changi - for two 20kg bags. 20kg, which my boarding pass and my booking both say we are entitled to, is suddenly 5kg in excess, so they want to screw your American wallet hard, long, and good because even if you had a good time, chances are you will never pass through the half baked gas station that is Langkawi again. Oh yeah and don’t bother paying for the WiFi - they get you good there too - 10mb which is basically a couple jpegs but you won’t get squat anyway. Literally nothing, and then suddenly your puny 10mb has disappeared, along with your money and what’s left of AirAsias credibility."

In reality, there were many empty seats on all our flight segments."

Lightweight travelers don't want to check bags because of the additional hassle and potential for lost luggage (not to mention the fees). They wear backpacks small enough to fit into the overhead compartment, but getting under the ridiculous 6kg limit means eliminating anything extraneous. 9 or 10kg is more reasonable."

Pros: "I got to the airport with my wife and when I checked our two average sized suitcases I was told it would cost an additional 6000 baht - even though I had already paid for one suitcase per ticket. The check in person was helpful but I couldn't find my proof of payment so my wife and I spent some frantic minutes pulling weight out of our bags and into our carry on finally getting the price down to 3800 baht. I've since found my proof of payment and hope that Air Asia will reimburse me but the whole exercise sucked hugely."
Loved the food and comfort . Unprofessional staff but having good intent . Poor knowledge but still reminds you of Maharaja Culture !!!
Air craft needs maintenance
The plane is really worn out. The IFE does not function - it’s time to say bye to the 777-200LRs. The aircraft was VT-ALH and urgently needs a refurbish !
I had booked for a child meal but it didn't appear on flt. attendent list. Wrapping of sandwich and sweet was poor. Did not give confidence of hygiene.
Kayak doesn't even know that the flight was canceled. Kayak does not have any customer service, well they theoretically have one, but nobody responds. Beware of using Kayak for booking your ticket.
I liked that they got me to my destination in one piece. The air staff were nice. Other than that it was a horrible experience. One segment was cancelled without notice. Next segment delayed by 13 hrs. No one picks up phone calls. Rude and incompetent ground agents. They don't care about stranded passengers. Old dirty aircraft. Non working seats and displays. Never flying Air India
Crew service was good. But old flight, broken seats made 17 hours journey uncomfortable.

Pros: "1. Good food. 2. Air hosts and hostesses were excellent. 3. The baggage handling was good. No damage or loss. 4. No delay, quite punctual all throughout. 5. Boarding was a little messy, mainly due to impatient Indian passengers who won't let other fellow passengers board without a fight for no reason."
Cons: "1. While checking, the front desk person was absolutely miserable. We had a couple of baggage with 25 kilos and others less than 23 kilos. However, she would not let out baggage go until we evenly distribute all of them and make them all less than 24 kilos. We had to open all our bags and suitcases in the airport and redistribute. Quite a nightmare. So for future passengers, if you get someone like her good luck. 2. The Boeing-777 cargo is pretty old. So though it has everything still there is a touch of shabbiness all over the plane. They are not comparable to the top of the line Dreamliners that AI runs quite a bit. 3. Though the entertainment system was good, however, some of the remotes or audio outputs were not working well. Like my audio output was not functional at all. I changed the headphone and it still did not work. They suggested to use my own audio bud, however, I did not have one. 3. Limited beverage choice."

Cons: "These long flights are very tough. Every time I travel the TV does not work. At least 5 of them gave up and tried to go back to sleep. Attendants tried to no avail. How much can you eat? Food is typically made for economy class. You get what you pay. But I do have a choice taking other Air liner with new fleet of Air craft. I think I am going to do that."

Pros: "1 hour check in at Kolkata to Delhi, at first wanted us to recheck bags at Delhi. Finally, bags checked through, but needed to get boarding passes in Delhi. In Delhi, 80 minutes at the desk before boarding passes. They suggested we didn't have return tickets, and kept asking for more information. And this was at business class desk! Finally took 4 of them at the desk to take care of it, and then we were so late couldn't get seats we wanted. Unbelievably bad! Beware!"

They charged 100$ for 2lb over weight of 1 bag, and additionally they insisted us to check in the diaper bag for a fee of 100$ more. This is not the way you make money. This is a family unfriendly Airline. They told me that since you are already getting the priviledge of checkkng in a stroller, you got to pay 100$ for the excess 2 pounds. But all airlines allow strollers to be checked in for free.. how does that determine the luggage restrictionfor us?"

Pros: "This might be quite standard to non-budget airlines but still worth mentioning. 30kg check-in luggage per passenger is generous."
Cons: "1. Nobody checked for handphone usage AFTER broadcasting that handphones should be switched off or on flight mode. The passenger sitting next to me (and some others sitting elsewhere) kept talking on the phone. 2. During the flight, one of the overhead storage was opened (obviously by someone without closing it) for at least 15 minutes without being noticed by the crew. Not even when the air-stewardesses inching forward to serve food towards the storage. Only when they were right underneath it did one notice in surprise and close it. 3. Quite a lot of the entertainment systems were either not working properly or broken."
