Very difficult to check in and almost missed flight. No room in seats and had a middle seat. I tried to create an account and check in before to change seat and unable to. I do not understand why I wasn’t on a Qatar flight from on Bengalore to Doha when they left at the same time. Disappointed in the Kayak booking process.
My journey with Qatar Airways from Ahmedabad to Jacksonville on 3rd February 2026 was truly exceptional. The entire experience reflected comfort, care, and world-class service. Complimentary high-quality Wi-Fi throughout the journey was a welcome luxury, especially on a long-haul flight. The vegetarian meals were thoughtfully prepared, delicious, and served with attention to detail, along with a fine selection of snacks and beverages. What truly elevated the experience was the cabin crew — graceful, courteous, and genuinely attentive, delivering outstanding hospitality at every step. This journey perfectly showcased the premium standard Qatar Airways is known for, and it left a lasting impression. I would gladly fly with them again.
First off, it wasn't clear that my first flight was to be operated by IndiGO. While the flight itself was fine, this meant that my whole initial check in where I would've properly verified my seating on my Qatar flight/requested an upgrade was impeded by the fact that I had to check in with IndiGO. They said I would separately have to go to Qatar counter to deal with second flight leg issues, which was impossible given how long the check in took/no time available to do so.
Impressive as always. It is the airline of my choice, The dessert on the 2nd flight DOH-IAH was somewhat dry (the cake with cream etc) Check-in and boarding experience was fantastic, with the exception of CCU airport where chk-in staff refused to help with aisle seats stating the flight was full and accommodations were beyond him. Once I boarded there were plenty of available aisles. I was disappointed that this could not be done by self during online chk-in nor at the airport. Nothing more to add. excellent! movie selection just ok, but everything else was wonderful.
The boarding process was awful-the computers were down and there was no way to check in. Took extremely long, very chaotic and no guarantee our bags were even getting on the plane. I was also delayed and took away from any time i had to catch a connecting flight.
Charged extra amount for the baggage wait. Even it’s less than 23kgs. Those machines are showing wrong weight and they were charging money wantedly from everyone.
The seat cushions are absolutely lacking, not sure if they know the passengers are traveling for 14 hours straight, but the padding made our back and butt ache like crazy. The entertainment console had its own problems, either the headphone jack wasn't working or the power outlet via usb or ac outlet was not working. Not to mention the seat handles were not adjustable in some planes in the middle or on the aisle. Qatar may be operating a very old fleet of planes to make as much profit as possible, but passengers may not be following them for long, should this treatment of its customers continue. Qatar, wake up and do it right by your customers, or they may not be your customers anymore.
It was little disheartening and disappointing. Although flight staff did a good job. But customer service didn’t do anything to resolve my issue.
I wish the leg room was better for Economy especially for the outbound flights to India . The outbound flight to US and Qatar was good
It was a good experience - too many times checking at the airport - every time had to remove shoes , belt , laptop etc. that was a bit of exaggerated. The seat had a sharp metal plate -- which torn into my jeans.

Unfortunately, the level of service provided fell significantly short of the standards I expected from your airline. I would like to highlight the following serious issues encountered during the journey: • Cabin Condition and Hygiene: The aircraft cabin was notably poorly maintained. The seating area was dirty, and there was a persistent, unpleasant odor throughout the flight, which made the environment very uncomfortable for passengers. • Inadequate Service: The overall level of service provided by the staff was unsatisfactory and did not reflect a professional passenger experience. • Baggage Loss: Upon arrival, I was informed that my luggage was lost. This is particularly distressing as it has caused significant personal inconvenience and disruption to my schedule. As a frequent traveler, I value reliability and a clean cabin environment. I request that you investigate these matters immediately, provide an update on the status of my missing baggage, and outline how you intend to compensate for these failures in service. Planes are good. However the entertainement system is slow. The headphones are of low quality and I could hardly hear a movie The movies lack subtitiles
The crew were amazing. They should improve the inflight entertainment
The plane was ok, I was in business class and was surprised there were no pods and each seat was right next to another one. That said it was comfortable and the food and coffee were good. Entertainment wise again I was surprised to see only movies and no TV shows. Check-in at Toronto Pearson was an absolute disaster, which was especially disappointing as I was a business class passenger. There was no dedicated staffing for the business counter and four (4) airlines employees assisted one economy class passenger for about 15 minutes when one could have easily assisted me. Overall room for improvement, particularly in the on-ground experience and airplane infrastructure.
Delay not posted, only departure time listed- not boarding time. We left an hour late and arrived 45 min late. Restrooms had backed up sinks and toilets not flushed ) passenger error). Lots of screen for entertainment didn’t work. But we arrived with our luggage
The plane was old and the luggage racks above us were visibly shaking during turbulence. Water was dripping on our heads during landing. Our flight was over 2 hours late departing but we were not updated or told what to expect as the screen at the gate continued to read “on time”
Check in took over an hour because printer was not working. Attendant did not know how to give free layover Addis Ababa hotel vouchers or update frequent flyer number. After repeated attempts, got voucher emailed. However hotel wanted printed voucher hence more delay. Bus time from hotel back to airport was printed 4:50 hours, but hotel reception called at 3 pm saying bus will leave at 4 pm. Then hotel reception called again saying 4:15 pm. We rushed at 4:15 pm and bus was not ready until 4:40 pm. Many audio outlets were not working in planes.
I had a memorable experience. I dont have any comments at this time regarding waht could be better.
