It was a good experience - too many times checking at the airport - every time had to remove shoes , belt , laptop etc. that was a bit of exaggerated. The seat had a sharp metal plate -- which torn into my jeans.

Unfortunately, the level of service provided fell significantly short of the standards I expected from your airline. I would like to highlight the following serious issues encountered during the journey: • Cabin Condition and Hygiene: The aircraft cabin was notably poorly maintained. The seating area was dirty, and there was a persistent, unpleasant odor throughout the flight, which made the environment very uncomfortable for passengers. • Inadequate Service: The overall level of service provided by the staff was unsatisfactory and did not reflect a professional passenger experience. • Baggage Loss: Upon arrival, I was informed that my luggage was lost. This is particularly distressing as it has caused significant personal inconvenience and disruption to my schedule. As a frequent traveler, I value reliability and a clean cabin environment. I request that you investigate these matters immediately, provide an update on the status of my missing baggage, and outline how you intend to compensate for these failures in service. Checking in wasn't organized, too many so-called diplomats were jumping line while everyone was waiting in line. They should have their own line not to impede on other passengers that was also waiting to be served. We all paid money and there should be no discrimination because everyone's money should have the same value diplomat or not! If they want to give diplomats some special treatment then let them create their own check in desk and not treat other passengers some that are (elderly, some with children, pregnant women) making them stand longer in line than necessary just because people are jumping line 😡
It was an old aircraft, stiff seats almost wooden chairs with thin cushions. Food was ok.
For Vegetarian Food was very poor. Though we had opted for Asian Vegetarian Food they didn’t serve but only what was available was served. We were offered Smoked Salmon!
It was very bad experience with Ethiopian airlines . The flight was delayed in both ways . On the way coming back one of the crews dropped hot coffee on my whole body and other crew dropped used dirty glasses on top of me . The same crew that dropped hot coffee on me hit me with the food trolley on my knee while I was sleeping . I couldn’t sit properly due to the pain on my knee caused by those irresponsible crews . Very unprofessional airlines
Very bad experience flight was over 5 hours delayed 😑 not a chance to be put on another flight we had to stay at the hotel we lost 2 days on our vacation. Never again I will fligh with Ethiopian airlines.
Very bad, flying business but have no benefit of it. the crew was rude and I was not offered any food at all. I called them 3 times but none of them came. I was sick at that time and none of them helped me. an hour before landing they came to offer me food. it was too late because my stomach was already very painful and I was vomiting. I nearly can’t walk to immigration. I was forced to cancel my connecting flight and had to stay overnight in stockholm to recover my health.
Hot, uncomfortable and very rough take off and landing. Very regrettable.
Entertainment system poor - couldn't hear, no flight info etc.
Goin to Kenya from JFK was great. I was able to tell I needed help as I can not fly long distances in the economy idea of a middle seat. I became aware on a flight to paris where after the flight for about a month I had a pain in my right leg I feared might be a potential aneurysm + a weak bladder. Coming back at baggage check-in a let the attendant know and she changed me to an aisle, On check-in at the gate they asked if I paid extra for that seat and i said no and I told them what happened the lady downstairs just changed my flight seat and sent me to the gate to wait, the guy then said no the seat is a (I forgot the exact word he used) for sale seat and I said well she did not tell me that downstairs and then he said someone else had this seat and I said she was looking at the same computer screen earlier and I told her my conditionand she changed my seat. He sai come back later ans he'll see what he can do. I came back and he said the plane is filling up fast there was nothing he could do. On the flight there was an open aisle seat that I was able to take (a little earlier than the attendance liked I would admit - but the door was closed and we were about to take off) on. It turns out the seat was not "sold" because the tv screen and control were not working - no sound and no movies - they attendants said they tried to reboot but nothing fixed and it turned out someone knew the condition and just didn't tell me. It's embarrassing to have to tell everyone you see that you have an issue especially at airport gates where it seems everyone's impatient tempers are on full tilt. Beyond this the flight crew were professional and great -food was as good as airplane food can be (I have not yet tried business class to compare) and it was hot too. I will fly Kenyan Air again and recommend to whoever will listen. If you have a policy or mechanism on the Kenyan side I would appreciate knowing ahead of time what my options are. On the JFK side knowing I was a senior and had an issue got better attention. Thank You.
there really needs to be more room with each seat for such a long flight.
The plane was delayed almost three hours because boarding was unorganized then we were delayed even longer because the plane had an issue. The plane didn't look well maintained, there was also alot of tape on the exterior. I won't fly kenya air ways again after this trip.
The crew was good but the entertainment was poor . All old movies and TV shows and very few of them. Needs current entertainment. Seats too firm. Food just ok. Nice though to have option with upgrade of no one sitting in middle seat
For a long haul flight, the seats were too narrow. Paid for extra legroom but wish I could have paid for width! I was pressed against another person for the whole donation of the flight.
The boarding was fast, the food was great; however, the seats & leg space were tight.
The kindness and good humor of all the people who this flight possible was a joy.
Seats were great. Business class service has been cut entirely, not even a water handed out
Excellent crew. Three problems need to be taken care of: 1. Lack of wi-fi during the flight. This prevents busy traveller's from working while onboard. 2. Why there were two very-slow security check points was more punishment that necessary. Went through thorough security at transit area, the an even slower one at Gare 19!!!! Why passports needed to be checked st least 5 times by 5 different people makes no sense. Additionally, passengers were crammed like sardines in a boarding area with no charging ports that work!! This was a boarding nightmare. 3. During my flight (seat 27C) the headset socket did not work. Watched one movie, but very difficult because of that. Had to keep my fingers on the socket for it to work!
The cabin crew were very good, respectful, and nice. However, the flight was delayed more than an hour. They could have managed the problem easily but they couldn't and that affected our travel. Thanks
