Cons: "luggage did not make connecting flight from dubai to jfk, inspite of pilot telling us 1 hour or so delay was waiting for luggage. at jfk was told can get same night if want to. this proved futile . spent hours at JFk waiting and talking to Emirates. spoke with multiple agents including Luz, sarah, etc. finally around 12 midnight was told customs would not release till next day. but promised to get it to us by 12noon next day (flying to wyoming next day at 330 pm) . this did not happen. again multiple phone calls and promises , failed. Kiamaria even got text of address in WY where 2 suitcases should have gone. All 4 suitcases were sent to NJ and arrived at 9pm. more phone calls. this time Rachel helped with fedex labels unfortunately more problems as fedex said no barcode and we had to go to fedex office and finally they took care of it so many hours wasted, not to mention the anxiety and frustratioon How are you going to reimburse all this ????"

Cons: "Starting from boarding this flight was a problem. we had a infant(18 month old) sleeping in our arms as the flight was at 3:30 Am and was delayed by an hour. There was not priority boarding for elderly and people with kids. We had to wait in queue holding our carry ons as well as the kid. As we were last in boarding it was hard to find a closest spot for our carry on. Crew would not respond for about 10 mins or so( not during take off or landing) this was during mid flight when there was no turbulence(seat belt sign was off). We asked for a veg meal instead of baby food as our kid eats solids and she does not like instant baby food's. We requested this when we booked her ticket , she was not even given food luckily we had some milk powder and water bottle. Really bad experience with Emirates"

While watching people cut the line, airport officials taking bribe and allowing some people to cut the line and more. i did not have enough time to purchase from the duty free store in chennai and since my flight from chennai was late it landed late in Dubai so I did not have any time to purchase anything in dubai duty free before my connecting flight. I reached airport 4 hours before departure and I get treated like this, horrible service."
Cons: "I was not allowed onto this flight (Dubai to Hong Kong) because my previous flight (London to Dubai) was a little late, but I made it to the gate before it was closed. My fellow passengers from my flight were also not allowed onto the plane, and while we were arguing (including being told that the plane was full) other passengers from an even later flight were allowed on board! Instead I had to wait many hours in the terminal (because apparently there were no hotel rooms available!?) to get a flight to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (!!!?) where I could get a Cathay flight to Hong Kong. This meant I arrived 14 hours later than scheduled. Absolutely abysmal service, with no sympathy and no responsibility from any employees."

The problem was with Hong Kong International Airport. It seems HKIA is experiencing 'traffic jam' very often. It's quite risky for the passenger like me who is expected to have another long journey back home after arriving in HKIA. Should be praying again and again in order to take the AEL and MTR before the service is over around 1 AM."

I understand these things happen but for a passenger who had to start with a delayed flight, followed by another delayed connecting flight then had to be in the air for almost 3 hours just to have to land back wait for to change aircraft It was too much and felt Like a complete waste of time. I do commend the crew for tending to us."

Attendants are some of the nicest I've ever met, though their English (and PA announcements, etc) will be a bit hard to understand unless you're used to communicating with folks for whom English is a second language. They're also all softspoken, which is very soothing, but even harder to understand what they're saying! Seats are also BIG and have a great recline (seat and seat back) on the Airbus. Flying on a daytime departure from NYC to ICN I had a lot of empty seats to stretch out on and it was pretty quiet for a long flight to Asia."
Cons: "Seats are HARD! I'm not sure how you even make a hard airplane seat but they've figured it out on the Airbus for sure. The solution: get a second pillow to use as a seat cushion. Solves the problem. Also, the "upgrade" to the bulkhead seat is only good if you have a baby in a carrier or really long legs. If you like having your bags near you, or want to keep stuff at your feet to work on, or like to raise the arm between seats, or have a tray table and pocket in front of you... you won't have any of those in the bulkhead upgrade seat. And the phone customer support simply doesn't know enough English to explain these things properly. Fortunately someone else was happy to switch with me. Lastly, they really don't understand that special meals do not need to lack in flavor. Non-Lactose Meals are super boring in flavor - and there was no reason at all not to serve the bulgogi or spicy pork dishes for the NLML! They seemed surprised when I asked to switch it, which suggests to me that the attendants don't even know what 'non-lactose' means, though they were very sweet about confirming and delivering me my special (bland) meals. But asking for a packet of gochujang solves that problem!"

On my flight from LA to Seoul, the crew was constantly in the aisles offering water and juice without being summoned by passengers. There were a few times when I wished that someone would come by with water or juice, but didn't want to press the call button to get them. Lunch options as we neared LAX were both Asian style, and a middle-ground option would have been appreciated. On the outbound flight to Seoul we had breakfast options that included pancakes."

Though I double checked with the Quarantine offices in Chicago and in Incheon, and they said that I did not need any documentation, the person at the check-in counter would not let me take the cats without the Quarantine office's written permission. Only after an hour of explanations I could take the cats. It seemed that that person was not familiar with rules on pet transportation."
Cons: "Asiana Airline allowed a drunken passenger sit next to me. Everyone can smell and knew that he is drunken. The 1st thing he did after sitting was drinking alcohol from his pocket. Yes, one of the staff came to him and got the drink from him. But, he talked me for about 4hours nonstop and made me uncomfortable at all. Other passengers around me saw him because he talked too loud. I expected that they would offer me another sit and left him alone. During 10 hrs flight, I had 2 Tylenol capsules because of the smell of the alcohol from him. It was REALLY hard time for me to sit next to him during 10 hrs. DO NOT ALLOW A DRUNKEN PERSON TO GET ON A PLAIN FOR OTHERS."

Early online check in did not allow us to select seats either, instead we were assigned the worst seats possible on the last row. I have a 10 year old who get sick during flight. I find that it is ridiculous that all seats were blocked as "full" when we bought the tickets so much in advance."

I had no problem paying the quated amount, since they had the short coming they were blaming me. After a lot discussion/arguments I was able to find a Visa card on me and pay for the excess luggage, but its your short coming and not mine as I had no problem paying the fees yet I was treated badly. What if I did not have a Visa card then would I have been kicked out the plane for something the bangalore international airport have problems. No one should be blamed for issues you have. I had no problem paying to fees... you had the problem that you could not use a major credit card, when there are small markets on the street that can use the American Express card. You should be able to charge people American Express card this is a large international airport with loads of expats living and traveling in and out of Bangalore I hope you look into this instead of just asking for feedback and not doing anything about it. Pros: "I liked everything about the flight, very comfortable seats (Club World), great staff who were very thoughtful and helpful with our situation (disabled person). The check-in personnel at Chennai were very considerate and helpful, much appreciated. The wheelchair arrangements at Chennai were excellent. The food on the flight was very good and accommodated our dietary restrictions. Entertainment choices (movies) were quite good, too, and managed to get some pretty good sleep as well. The lavatories had green/red light system for availability, visible from our seats, which was very helpful. The lavs were quite well maintained and clean. The flight was on time. and it arrived safely, which is the main thing."
Cons: "The transition from the flight to the terminal at LHR was not optimal, though the staff were trying their best. The "jetty" ramp way for normal deplaning was broken, they said, so they brought a set of steep aluminum steps instead. Navigating these steep steps was not possible for some passengers (difficulty walking and with steps), so finally they called a mechanical lift device (like a fork lift) to help those passengers, many in wheelchairs, who couldn't manage the steps. We had to wait for at least 30-40 minutes on the plane for the lift to arrive and stand outside on its platform up in the air, waiting to be ready to descend to ground level. This was pretty uncomfortable and it made our connection time very short. To compound matters, once on the ground, there was a wheelchair available for only one of us, though 2 had been requested, but as on other flights through LHR, there was unfortunately not enough staff to push it through Term. 5 to the connecting flight. So, I had to do that myself, along with managing my own luggage, which was a bit challenging, as I was tired by then. Our flight connection time, already much shortened by the deplaning situation, was evaporating steadily. Fortunately, there was an excellent staff member from Heathrow, who had been assigned to push someone else's wheelchair, who guided our group of wheelchairs, complete with hand luggage and children, though the maze of Term. 5, through very busy security and finally to our gate. We would have gotten lost and even if not, would almost surely have missed the flight without this guide facilitating this trek. We made the connecting flight with barely 5 minutes to spare."
