Either the airline needs to get them more trained before getting them on the floor or needs to take strict action against them. Because wasting my time at the Mumbai airport was not so entertaining for me and the airline did not even seem apologetic about it. Vistara has hired some really unprofessional and uneducated staff at their Mumbai station."

Cons: "Three things : 1) The crew seemed to be relatively inexperienced and just out of college. I observed a couple of informal communication exchanges from their part. But the crew were helpful and tried their best to provide the best customer experience. 2) The boarding process normally starts with business and premium class and then followed by economy. For my flight however the economy class was boarded first while the business class passengers were kept stranded waiting in a separate line. This also reflected the inexperience of the crew which handled the boarding. 3) Vistara was my connecting flight from Pune to Delhi followed by British airways flight from Delhi to London. Though the flights were booked under one ticket, the representative did not checkin my luggage throughout the journey due to which I had to collect my baggage at Delhi and check it in again. The representative explained that vistara still didn't have alliances with most airlines allowing luggage to be checked in till final destination. This is another front on which they can improve."

They said they’d check and get back with us. When they did they said the additional charge for 15kg was more than the ticket itself!! For more than 15 up to 30kg it was nearly 3 times as much! This really felt like a scam! We asked to cancel the flight and were told we could, but there was no guarantee of any refund. We said to cancel it anyway. Later I was told there would be no refund. I assumed it had been canceled and yet I got emails telling me it was time to check in, etc. And then I’m asked to review my flight! So, between Indigo and Kiwi.com I felt I got terrible service. I will not use either of them again. In the end we got a flight for the original amount including 15kg of checked baggage from a different website and on a different airline that left at the exact same. There was a reasonable charge per 5 kg over the15 allowed."

Cons: "We were forced to part with our hand luggage and had to check in.There are two security check points at Delhi airport. I had bitter experience with the first one where the CISF personnel misplaced my luggage which was put on the screening conveyor. When I complained of not finding my luggage, they tried to convince me that it must have been taken by my wife who had been screened before me and had left for boarding while I was still waiting to pass through the security. When I went to the entry side of the conveyor looking for my luggage, it miraculously found lying on the exit side of the conveyor.( after 10 minutes)"

Cons: "At first, Air India checked our bags and made us wait for approx 4 hours in airport saying flight delayed and later after 4 hours said flight is cancelled and told everyone to go back home and come back next day to their office that is located away from the airport to rebook the ticket and they did not offer to refund the ticket. They never gave us our bags until after 8 hours something. They never cared of anyone for the entire 12 hours while we were in the airport. We had to spend our money to eat during the 12 hours time spend waiting and ended up booking a hotel room and buy another ticket from a different airline as Air India said they will not be sending us to the next flight as that is for the new passesngers only. Unbelievable experience. We had several stuff tied up to do once we arrive and we went through a nightmare to figure out several items. We did not have phones to communicate and had to go through hell to find a phone to talk with our kids who spend lot of time buying us the hotel room and air tickets for the next day on a different available airline."

Cons: "When waiting for the bus to take us to the airplane, there were no signs which stated when the bus would come, which flight it was for. We had to constantly ask people and felt like we would miss the flight."
Cons: "We arrived at the domestic airport initially because it was a flight from Ahmedabad to Mumbai (domestic). Took us a while to figure that out with the language barrier and lack of internet at the airport... next we took a rickshaw to the international airport which put us just passed 45 minutes early for the flight itself. Apparently that is the limit that we didn’t know about. So we were there 40 minutes early instead of 45 and they wouldn’t let us check in even though we only had carry ons with us. Next we had to buy another air India ticket 12 hours later to Mumbai which cost us 150 dollars per ticket and made us sit at the airport for the interim. Terrible experience for us... never using air India again!"

Cons: "I think I caught a stomach bug on one of the 3 legs of this route. More likely on last 2, i.e. Mumbai to RDU, as I fell sick almost 10-12 hrs after my last flight meal. But cannot rule out Air India's small 1st leg either of AMD to Mumbai."

Cons: "Everything. Flight was, as usual, late - a typical of Air India. No announcements informing that the plane was running late. People started lining up to board outside the gate, but with no ground staff on sight. 10 minutes past the departure time, 2 personnel show up informing Pax that the flight was running an hour late. Food was stale. I would rather you not serve any food and knock off a few $$ from the fare, rather than serving distasteful and stale food. Overall, bloody pathetic condition of the aircraft."

Cons: "Strangely Air India was not aware we were travelling with our 5 years kids so we had first raw exit seats ! Of course we had to move from there and got finally separarated. At the checking, they told us "you have not informed us you travelled with kids !". A huge food box is given with almost nothing inside. I am ok with no food given but please make sure you do not waste and pollute for no reason"

Cons: "The services in the aircraft was not good as in other airlines. The staff was not courteous. the bording facility was not good. the food was also not upto the mark. There were very few movies on the TV. There was no anouncement for departures at the airport eventhough it was delayed by 90 minutes at Ahmedabad airport. You should keep a column of WORST."
Pros: "Flight was on time. Boarding was not managed well by Ahmedabad Airport. Two toilets had faults. Faulty tap and toilet seat. Lacking choice in in-flight entertainment despite high quality system. Air India should offer free water at the seat every 2 hours instead it's a help yourself service which is less good. No wi-fi services."
Cons: "I didn't like the baggage check in part. I had 2 check in baggage with almost 48 kg weight. However, it was showing 47 on another scale (very next weighing scale) and the person was so persistent about weight that he made me remove 1 kg from each bag. My question is how could you expect my weighing scale so perfect when yours are not perfect? it seems they don't care if air india lose a customer for just couple of kg weights. Also, no announcement for boarding, people started making their own queue. Flight was delay by almost an hour however, no courtsey to inform passanger or no monitor/tv to show at boarding gate that flight is delayed."

Pros: "Air India lost our luggage when we travelled from Delhi to Ahmedabad! This is not at all acceptable. We received luggage after 2 days. This made me think of not traveling with air India again just coz of this poor service! Hopefully you do something about this coz this is really inconvenient for the customers and I guess you already lost few! Thank you!"
