Pros: All considering, we researched hotels in Tokyo extensively. The Tobu Levant answered all our requirements for our short stay.
Cons: Rooms were smaller than expected, but this is well known fact in Japan. We chose and paid extra for the Skytree view. It was a beautiful view, but the hotel is close to the Skytree, you can see it easily from the street also. Perhaps this room is not really necessary not being in the room for long periods of time and when you are, you will be sleeping with the curtains drawn. Better to take pot luck.

Pros: This was our first stop in Tokyo and we were not disappointed. The staff was amazingly friendly and very welcoming. The view was amazing. It couldn't have been a better first impression of Tokyo.

Pros: The staff was super helpful and prompt in responding to concerns like the weird smell in my first room and the noisy upstairs neighbours.
Cons: More television options in English or that allowed for subtitles. Larger shower. Longer comforters because from my chest up was forced to be uncovered which was uncomfortable as I then had to raise the temperature and my lower body was uncomfortably hot. Better soundproofing for the rooms

Pros: My boyfriend and I stayed there for nine nights and were able to explore easily. Locations such as Akihabara, Harajuku, Meiji Shrine, Shibuya, and a lot more are a short train ride away and with the train station so close it was easy to get around. Lots of shops, restaurants, and arcades within walking distance of the hotel.

Cons: Unfriendly male front desk staff (no smiling face). We came with 2 families and 5 small kids, they were making some noise and chasing around at the lobby while we were checking in, one male staff warned us this was not appropriate. Yes, I respect the reminder but expect a more friendly approach. And I believe if the hotel allows to have children to stay in, they should anticipate how children behave. It was our first day arrival, with such unfriendly approached, it really spoilt our mood.

Pros: A very new and modern hotel, it's huge compared to japanese standars. Take the Skyliner from the airport with the 3 day metro unlimited pass and you will arrive to Ueno station, two big blocks away like 4 min walking
Cons: The breakfast is from 7 - 9 and i usually wake up at 9 !
