Cons: The hotel is not nearby any train station. Which makes traveling across Tokyo a lot more difficult. We also didn't like the gable for the river side rooms, because we were not placed besides the river.

Cons: The position was 15-20 minutes walking from subway. Restaurant not providing any sweet breakfast (no croissants, nor biscuits...), so we have always had breakfast in a bakery nearby.

Good restaurants in vicinity, grocery store, pharmacy and ATM at the same property. Hotel provides you with complimentary bottled water every day. The real gem is a shuttle linking the airports Narita and Haneda with hotel for very reasonable price (otherwise transfer could be very expensive). Hotel also offers a free shuttle to Tokyo Disneyland, nice addition for traveler with children. Definitely recommend.

Cons: The only thing that bothered me was the late night check-ins. Someone woke me up because they thought my bed was there’s at 2am and also the snoring from other people. Granted I know that’s not the hotels fault, but they charge you if you want ear plugs.

Cons: It was stuffy in the capsule with the door closed, the fan inside didn't seem to be working, I had to sleep with the door open to get some air. The hostel was clean but the capsule itself could use a little freshening up as the smell inside wasn't too pleasant.

The location is not great. The hotel is situated in an industrial area so there are transport trucks driving around all the time. Restaurants are quite the distance and there are no attractions near the hotel.

Pros: Absolutely perfect for our 1-week stay over Christmas for the 2 of us, while visiting my son, who currently lives in Monzen Nakacho. Small, clean, modern, well appointed hotel in a lovely neighbourhood. The reception and room staff were a real pleasure, always very friendly, kind and helpful. The small size of the hotel added to the personal feel. Our booked ‘double room’ (with a very comfortable Queen size bed) was fantastic, offering views over Tomioka Hachimango Shrine next door and was also spacious, having room for a table as well as a desk. We also appreciated the little balcony. Complimentary very good coffee in the foyer from a serious coffee machine with a selection of beans, which are freshly ground. Also in the foyer, which was tastefully decorated for Christmas, are complimentary toiletries, a drinks vending machine, great local maps and Tokyo info. You can really feel at home in the lovely breakfast room with good International and Japanese food choices and beautiful service. Convenience and other shops, cool cafes, restaurants surround the hotel, Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine is next door and Fukagawa Fudo-do Temple only a 3-minute walk away. Don’t miss the fire & drumming ceremony ‘Goma’ at Fukagawa Fudo-do Temple, which is performed at 9am/11am/1pm/3pm/5pm, lasts about 40 minutes (at no charge) and rates amongst my most beautiful experiences ever. Monzen Nakacho Station is a 1-minute walk and everything in Tokyo feels within close reach by metro. Thank you to all at Tokyu Stay Monzen Nakacho for making it such a special stay for us.

Cons: While the price for staying here is reasonable which is a good thing, the morning buffet leaves a little to be desired plus they have a strange room keeping policy. They will change towels on certain days and not others and won't make the bed. The bathroom is one of those Japanese unit type bathrooms that always leave a little to be desired. Be warned, there are no foreign people in this neighborhood (which is why I like it) so not English friendly (I speak the language).

Cons: We booked a triple room. This means a twin bed was sandwiched between the other two beds so we had wall to wall bed. No room for luggage and barely enough room to scoot down the wall at the foot of the bed. It is just too small to be offering triples. The beds are not large enough for two six foot Americans. Even skinny ones!

Cons: 1. First of all, the receptionist attitude is too bad. When checking in at 23:30 on July 9, Mr.Takahashi loudly told me, even though it was not my fault. 2. The automatic check-in system takes a lot of customers' time, causing lots of trouble and fatigue from waiting. The check-in procedure must be done by the receptionist for the customer, then quickly and respect the customer. 3. When checking out automatically, put the room card in the box, the receptionist does not thank the customer. 4. The receptionist hardly laughed or interacted with customers. 5. The corridor of the corridor is dirtier than I thought about the cleanliness of the Japanese hotel. Our company often goes on business in Tokyo but we will never return to this hotel.

Cons: Hotel with careless housekeeping. The housekeeping was throw away my wife's personal valuable thing, the face wash, in the bathroom when cleaning the room as I stayed for 2 days. Report at night, however, the staff could not solve it until tomorrow check out after we reported again. Manager's English is poor hence they need Indian guy staff for intermediary people. Give a voucher for the compensation. But it ruined our vacation. I do not think the hotel is ready for 2020 Olympic games.

Pros: This was my second time at the MYSTAYS Kameido, and I really like the location. The train station is very close, and from there, you can go anywhere in Tokyo within a reasonable time. The reception staff is also nice and helpful. I also liked the breakfast, which I couldn't try the last time, as it offers a good variety of food to choose from.

Pros: This was my second time at the MYSTAYS Kameido, and I really like the location. The train station is very close, and from there, you can go anywhere in Tokyo within a reasonable time. Cons: I don't really have anything to criticize, but there are several points that I think could be improved. My room was in the second building, and in there, you are supposed to take your trash outside by yourself. This in itself is not much of a problem, but as you are also supposed to separate your trash, it would be better if there were several garbage bags in the room. Also the breakfast starts at 7:00, so if you have to go to work or have an earlier flight, it might be a little late.

Request to change was not difficult, but the 2nd room was not as spacious as the first and the air condition was given out warm air even at 16 degrees Celsius. I cannot open the window for some cool air. Fortunately there was a box fan, which was on as long as I am in the room. Otherwise I will have to change my room again. 2nd, while I tried to be ECO friendly, however, on the 2nd day, my bed was not even made.

They only give you one so you have to ask for the additional. Totally disappointed

Pros: interesting to experience this capsule hotel, which normally is for locals who missed the last train/ only need to stay for a night for whatever reason. it's really clean, the bath was great, lots of nice toiletries available, as well as hair dryers.
Cons: wouldn't recommend to stay more than 1 night as your large bag has to be stored next to the reception. Unless you have not much stuff with you... (we had big backpack for 2 weeks travel) and don't expect the receptionists could answer you all the questions in english as their language skill is not really great, although it's already quite good for being in japan.

Cons: It is a little inconvenient for guys when you wake up at night and have to use the bathroom you have to go to the 4th floor but that's no big deal.
