Pros: We had a wonderful stay at this clean modern hotel... It's location could not have been any better. Will definitely stay here again.
Excellent9.3
Pros: Nice hotel, nice rooms, good location.
Cons: Staff not knowledgeable about local area. Parking fee exorbitant( the most I ever paid for parking, anywhere, anytime).
Excellent10.0
Pros: Hotel was clean, staff was attentive and courteous. The rooms were beautifully appointed, and when our booked room wasn't available, we were upgraded into a corner room executive suite overlooking historic City Center.
Cons: Pool wasn't heated.
Excellent8.0
Pros: very cool, unique hotel
Cons: bed was WAY too soft
Excellent10.0
Pros: The location was great, room and hotel was beautifully decorated, and the price was so reasonable. I would definitely come back!
Cons: $50 to park your car is kind of expensive but you get a full 24 hours.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Fantastic Historic Building thats been successfully converted to a hotel. Good quality Fitness Center with free weights, machines, and cardio options. All the equipment worked.
Excellent8.0
Pros: Bar/lounge area very nice, staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Cons: Key card system for elevator and room access were not functioning correctly and posed issues for must guests.
Mediocre3.1
Pros: Location is good, although there are 2 different Marriott hotels next door. We went to the wrong one first and already had valet parked our car before we realized it was the hotel next door.
Cons: Received an email confirming room would be ready by 3, upon arrival at 4 we were notified room was not ready and would be 45min. We were told they would call us when ready but after hour an a half of no call we went back to find there was a credit card issue which could have easily been resolved if they would have called. Wasted time wandering around downtown
Excellent10.0
Pros: Amazing breakfast, great location, amazing staff
Excellent10.0
Pros: The staff was friendly and very helpful
Cons: Panhandlers outside the front while we waited for our car. They sat by the door and were smoking. Made it a little uncomfortable. mostly to breathe because of the smell of the cigarettes.
Good7.7
Pros: Location
Cons: My room was not ready till 5pm.
Excellent8.0
Pros: The city view is unbelievable.
Cons: The separation doors between rooms need to be more insulated. I could hear and smell neighbors activities. Couldn’t sleep entire night till 4 am. Bring earplugs if you’re staying in this hotel, it’s right in the center of it all, constants activities around at night at city hall.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Everything, location was great for everyone to enjoy. There's a Marriott with full service next door, a Hard Rock and bunch or restaurants. Is also located on a historical area.
Cons: N/a
Excellent10.0
Pros: Front desk staff was very accommodating.
Cons: The phone operators for reservations were very rude. I spoke to several ones during the week before my stay. Only the last one I spoke to was helpful. I ended up double booking because I was told by a staff member earlier in the week that they couldn't find me on record of having booked a room so I ended up booking another. When it came close to check in, I was told that I indeed had booked the initial room. The last lady I spoke was very understanding and cancelled that initial room since I booked the second one through a third party.
Excellent9.4
Pros: When I arrived to the marriott to find out kayak never reserved my room, the kind marriott staffer jumped into action (and also revealed this was the 4th time that week that he had to deal with kayak's inefficiency)

Pros: Great location; in the heart of Center City Philadelphia.
Cons: Expensive parking.
Good7.7
Pros: Robes, shower was nice , room was quiet.
Cons: 4 large men given a king bed and a roll away .... We didn't fit in beds comfortably, one ended up sleeping on the floor. Valet parking took a long time and left all 4 windows down in my car.
Excellent9.1
Pros: First-rate, top-of-the-line, fully equipped gym. The dry sauna in the men's locker room was the best I ever experienced. The quiet relaxtion room with the lounge chair was a nice bonus.
Cons: The toilet in our room wasn't flushing properly. Luckily, the staff gave us another room almost immediately. The steam room in the men's locker room was out of service for repairs. Hopefully, that will get repaired soon.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The room was very comfortable and yet stylish. The location is absolutely perfect. The highlight of our stay was the incredibly attentive and friendly staff. We highly recommend staying at Loews Philadelphia Hotel!
Excellent9.4
Pros: Room 2723....that view!
Cons: Lose the revolving door entrance, please.
Excellent8.0
Pros: Front desk was very accommodating upgraded us to deluxe king room upon check in
Cons: Concierge not very helpful. Asked twice for recommendations on transportation and wanted to push private car which was theost expensive option vs any other public transportation which we opted for.
Excellent8.5
Pros: Location & room were great
Cons: Air conditioning was bad, after repair it was barely adecuate
Excellent10.0
Pros: The location was perfect. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was amazing and very accommodating to our requests. Would stay there again anytime.
Excellent9.0
Pros: I loved the great service from the beginning of my short stay to the end when the end when they fond a great deal on my long cab ride with a reputable driver. The room size was great and I really loved aall the extras that came in my room
Cons: I didnt like the BED BUGS I got whil e there
Good7.4
Pros: The staff was gracious and helpful
Cons: Dust covered the room and the toilet had cardboard trash in it upon arrival. Staff took care of the problem after being notified. The cost for parking at $45.00 a night was ridiculous.
Good6.0
Pros: Location, friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Room was dated, furniture banged up, sheets had stains, mattress was a bit springy
Excellent8.0
Pros: Not for family's & a little outdated. The location is amazing!
Excellent10.0
Pros: The staff and hotel were wonderful.
Cons: They ran out of cucumber water, but we did drink a lot of it.
Good7.1
Pros: Dog-friendly facilities Certain staff members (including one valet who was obviously personally invested in getting our car out and seemed to feel genuinely bad that one of his colleagues had screwed up our ticket) Location
Cons: General lack of service-orientation among staff (many were impolite or at least brusque - not the kind of attitude you get at luxury hotels) Everything (except room service) closes early Valet takes forever to drop car and get it out - very poorly managed Not a lot of services available
Good7.6
Pros: Friendly staff, good area
Cons: Cost of parking. $38 a night, plus 20% tax, plus $12 if you have a "oversized" vehicle

Pros: Sofitel staff was extremely attentive and they helped make my stay especially pleasant. The Concierge made perfect recommendations to restaurants (for both taste and ambiance) nearby that we could walk to, and their bell and valet staff were very helpful and always greeted us with a smile.
Excellent8.0
Pros: Everyone was friendly, my room was rather large and I enjoyed the ambience.
Cons: My room was mainly clean but I felt like certain surfaces needed another wipe.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The staff and service were impeccable.
Excellent8.0
Cons: Te walls are paper thin. You can hear what everyone is doing around you.
Excellent10.0
Cons: Everything was great!
Excellent10.0
Pros: I love all the little extras that the Sofitel in Philadelphia provides… Waters that you don't pay for and offers of more water on request. A really comfortable chair to sit at at the desk, multiple outlets for electronic things, a good blow dryer, a fabulous bed for comfort, great decorating and design that is amazing.
Cons: I love the amazing service and delicious food like the squash soup that Sofitel offers in their dining area. I appreciated that when I asked about my boarding pass being printed out Anthony from the front desk immediately went there and did it within 30 seconds for me. The staff, from the maid service to the front desk to the waitresses to the hostess to the Bellman, are all incredibly friendly warm helpful but appropriate.
Okay4.8
Cons: There were many stains on mattresses, Knicks on walls and doors, bedside glasses were not cleaned/replaced each day, gym was filthy with sweat stains on machines and equipment and floor. This hotel is desperately in need of an upgrade/remodel
Excellent8.0
Pros: Love the hotel and the location. The bar was nice and the French fries late night were amazing.
Cons: Met an old friend in Philly for one evening. We had a great day in the city, a wonderful dinner and retired to the room at eight PM to get reacquainted. At 10:15 we had a hotel staff member knock on our door to tell us we had noise complaints and to keep it down!!! There was also a note under our door say pleas keep it down the walls are very thin!!! Really??? 10:15??? And they want Philly to be known for the city of LOVE but only if you whisper! Disappointed the staff actually came up to tell me that. I will not be staying there again if I am doing anything but sleeping!
Excellent10.0
Pros: The whole staff is professional and friendly. When they say hello, good morning or ask how your stay is going, it's all sincere. It doesn't sound like a chore or they're just doing their job, they really care!
Excellent10.0
Pros: Excellent location. Great bed. Gym was good
Mediocre3.1
Pros: Having stayed before in a different city, I was really excited to stay at the Sofitel in Philadelphia. Sadly, the luxury hotel failed to provide any kind of world class hospitality that I am used to from this brand.
Cons: Waiting 30 minutes for my car to be taken out of Valet. Having a Valet tip come right out of my account without my approval. Extremely uncomfortable bedding. No running water due to a shut off, but wasn't told about this until after checking in and essentially not having another option to book another hotel. Phone did not work. Cable remote did not work. Concierge service was unknowledgeable of what the hotel offers.
Excellent9.6
Pros: Luxurious and beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The lobby and restaurant are very well decorated and comfortable. The room bathroom is great, especially the shower. There was a Keurig and Bose stereo.
Cons: The hotel parking was outrageous. The room was warm. It never seemed like the airconditioner turned on. The bed was large and very comfortable but there was no top sheet, only a comforter which got very warm in the night.
Excellent9.6
Pros: Very friendly staff, outstanding room in the category.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The staff was the best part. They went above and beyond to make my stay the best it could be.
Cons: I wish the breakfast was included during the week. Needing to order breakfast in the morning is very time consuming.
Mediocre2.0
Cons: Had a prepaid reservation for Sofitel and arrived a day late due to a family emergency. I did not have time to call the previous day and when I arrived the manager said they had cancelled my reservation, charged me for one day and that he 'would help me find another hotel.' Pathetic, at least could have called me before they cancelled my reservation. Never stay at the Philadelphia Sofitel again.
Excellent10.0
Pros: We stay at the Sovitel every time we travel to Philadelphia. They are pet friendly, have a great staff and a very convenient location for shopping or eating. They offer in/out service for parking. Great place to stay and would recommend the Sofitel if you are traveling to Philadelphia.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Location is perfect for shopping and eating. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. Loved the slippers, thick towels and soft sheets. Lanvin bath products - wow!
Cons: Nothing. I would easily stay here again if I can find a good rate.
Good6.0
Pros: I booked my stay with the Sofitel through Kayak and the hotel reservations staff completely LOST my pre-paid reservation. After I thought I had resolved this issue, the hotel staff charged me AGAIN for the reservation because the check out staff was different than the staff I worked with to check in. The staff does not communicate with each other. I will never book a room with this hotel again.
Good7.4
Pros: The Sofitel in Philadelphia is in a great location. It has beautifully appointed rooms, and the staff are gracious and warm.
Cons: Typically, I feel very comfortable in any room I stay in. However this time, the air conditioner didn't work properly, and the shower didn't drain properly. It did dampen my enjoyment of the hotel.

Pros: I had a great experience staying at Monaco, from price to service everything was perfect.
Cons: I think they should have better pictures of the corner suite on there website, because there suite was better then the pictures shown.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Great service, clean room, friendly staff, creative decoration of the room, the view was great
Cons: We should have booked an extra night
Good6.2
Cons: I left an expensive piece of technology in the room and when I returned a couple hours later, the staff said they didn't find it.
Excellent9.0
Pros: Very clean, comfortable, good bar/restaurant attached.
Cons: Only half of a shower door with no curtain so the shower head sprayed water all over the floor. Alice in Wonderland theme was a little much.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The location was great, close to everything. Also the room and bathroom was large for a city hotel. Lastly great customer service.
Cons: Nothing
Good7.1
Pros: Sam, the doorman was exceptional. Ready, willing and able to give excellent customer service including: • Always pleasant and smiling • Providing accurate information on where to go--restaurants, ice-cream places, etc. • Took a personal interest in you--asked for and called you by your name The staff as a whole was generally quite pleasant. • View from the room to the park was great!
Cons: • Room was dusty. • Bathroom shower had no door, and so the floor and bathroom door always got wet. • First room was large but was for a disabled person. WHen we changed the room, we were given a comparatively very small room. When we asked if we could get a larger room, we were told that there were none except the rooms for disabled persons.
Excellent8.8
Pros: Stayed for NYE.. very nice hotel. Excellent staff. A bit pricey. Would consider a return trip.
Excellent10.0
Pros: We got the corner king spa room and couldn't be happier. The room was spacious, and the views made the room look even bigger. The bathroom was on point, and the big soaking tub was great. We usually stay closer to Rittenhouse square but we didn't mind this location too much, there is tons to do in this part of downtown! The staff was very friendly and made check-in and check-out a breeze.
Excellent8.5
Pros: Great location for my work. Great restaurants in walking distance.
Cons: Nearly ruin my shirt with a rusty iron.
Excellent9.7
Pros: It was a really nice hotel - beautiful room and facilities- great location. The bartenders in the bar were really helpful and gave better suggestions for what to do in the city than the reception and concierge.
Cons: No bathtub in room - despite beautiful picture. This is the 3rd or 4th Kimpton Hotel I've stayed in but the least intimate. Hotel was a little busy and staff could be a bit warmer and more helpful.
Excellent9.7
Pros: Location across from Independence Hall and near great restaurants In room honor bar Elegant lobby and sitting area.
Cons: A bit pricey.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Very stylish hotel with comfortable rooms. Staff was friendly and attentive. But the best part is the location, you're across the street from the birthplace of our nation!
Good6.2
Pros: Nice hotel, amazing location
Cons: These days every hotel should have free wifi, $12.99 a day is not acceptable when you can go to a budget hotel and get it for free
Excellent9.7
Pros: The hotel is next to the historic district. I visited 5 museums in one day—all within walking distance. i came back to the hotel to rest in between visits.
Cons: TV didn't work well.
Excellent9.7
Pros: Love atmosphere and staff. Location and style is also a plus. It's friendly for us with our 2 kids under 2.
Cons: The bed was not as comfortable. We usually have a king size bed but opted to 2 queen size and I would prob not do that again.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Outstanding. Like all Kimpton hotels, the accommodations are uniquely hip and utterly luxurious. What stood out, above all though, was the customer service; the finest I’ve experienced to date. The staff is gracious and accommodating. They go the extra mile (and beyond) to make their guests comfortable. Also, the Japanese soaking tub, which sounds like one of those gimmicky add-ons, is life changing experience in itself. I cannot overstate the indulgent pleasure.
Cons: The views are hit or miss, but such is an unavoidable trade off in almost all urban hotel and bright, colorful, playfully ornate decor go a long way to offset this.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Slick decor with a wonderful bathroom and a fabulous view overlooking the historic district.
Excellent8.8
Pros: Staff was awesome. Our second room was amazing.
Cons: Our first room was noisy the shower didn't get hot and the valet was an hour wait to get your car
Excellent10.0
Pros: Room, hotel location comfortable
Cons: Staff friendly and helpful. Great location for walking
Excellent10.0
Pros: Each and every corner of the hotel is just amazing. Love it!!
Okay5.1
Pros: Nice location for nightlife and history tours.
Cons: I receive a monthly check from the VA for a service connected disability -- my ONE night stay cost more than that entire check! And for what? I received no continental breakfast; parking is $50 a NIGHT; and my room with a king-sized bed was tiny. No idea if internet was included, as I was not given a password. I wanted to sit in my room and prepare for a speech I had to give, but, my absurdly expensive room did not come with a chair besides an ergonomically nightmarish desk chair. I had a ton of clothes because I was there for a three day wedding, so my hands were full. I received no bell-service, carried all my stuff to my room, and the keys didn't work; so I had to lug everything back to the front desk. Had to iron shirts for the wedding, the ironing board looked like it was bought from a yard sale. For the cost of this room, I expect quality amenities. Also, the bouncer for the rooftop bar, who looked a like a teenager, watched one of the wedding guests get assaulted, laughed, and did nothing. Honestly, we should've called the police. Posh and ostentatious, with little reward. Go somewhere else.
Excellent9.7
Pros: We love the staff as they are professional and fun. They offer free happy hour and coffee in am! This is a big deal and makes people feel welcomed. The rooms are stylish and cozy! We had a 2 month and 14 month old children who loved it too!
Cons: Smaller elevators but it was doable...we just have 2 kids and a huge stroller ;)
Excellent8.0
Pros: As with all Kimpton Hotels, the decor is amazing & very much in-line with my aesthetic. We also really enjoyed the location of the hotel; we stayed over 2 very nice days & walked 30 minutes down Passyunk and over to the far edge of Rittenhouse multiple times. We tend to spend most of our time out-and-about, but the time spent in the hotel was very nice. We requested a room away from the elevator, which they did not oblige. We were essentially directly next to the elevator bank, however it ended up being quite. That said, we were there on a Monday night, I'm sure the weekends are a bit rowdier.
Cons: Bed was not very comfortable (for me, the BF loved it), the outlets stopped working in the bathroom in the middle of my blow out & could not be fixed, the internet did not work the day we checked in. Also...there is not much follow-through from the staff; we had requested a later check-out that they never acknowledged until we were physically there and brought it up ourselves again during check-in. We asked for a room away from the elevator bank, but were put in one directly next to it. Tried to order room service & the person on the phone said they would have to call back to 'confirm the order' but never called back..the food appeared 20 minutes later, cold. Negatives aren't the end of the world, but there are definitely some things we weren't thrilled with. But the staff, including the valet, were lovely & very friendly.
Excellent10.0
Pros: I called ahead to let them know I am bringing my dog and was incredibly surprised to have been offered dogs bowls and a dog bed placed in the room prior to me checking in. From then on, the hotel made sure to provide excellent service for anything we needed. The room was gorgeous and have really comfortable beds! I'm not one to sleep in, but I didn't have an issue catching a few more hours of shut eye. I highly recommend staying here.
Located in Center City, this luxury hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Walnut Street, Rittenhouse Square, and City Hall. Reading Terminal Market and Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts are also within 15 minutes. City Hall Station is 6 minutes by foot and Walnut Locust Station is 8 minutes.

Pros: Was exactly what we were looking for. Decent view, amazing location, comfiest beds ever. Room service all night... Snacks and drinks in bed. Perfection.
Cons: Having the room right next to another and being able to hear entire conversations... That was odd.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Location. Friendly staff. Clean and well appointed rooms. Good coffee in the mornings; manager reception in the evening. Very nice bar with inventive cocktail menu.
Excellent10.0
Pros: We loved the service and the wine hour. Great ambiance in the lobby. Will definitely stay at Kimpton hotels again.
Cons: None.
Excellent9.7
Pros: I was traveling with my toddler niece and the staff was very helpful, accommodating and nice. We are very grateful.
Excellent9.6
Pros: I liked the fact that the hotel is centrally located to shops, dining, and entertainment in Philly. We specifically stayed here to celebrate my birthday at nearby Amada, a tapas restaurant (Excellent food by the way!). A big plus was that there was no additional fees for having our dog stay. The hotel reminded me of the hotels in Northern Europe I've stayed in with the rooms being designed with very clean lines, wood, and metal. I liked the lobby area with the fireplace and hanging out with other people staying there with their dogs. Room was facing an alley way and it was very quiet. Bath was adequate size with full tub and shower. Definitely coming back and staying here for the Spring when the sun comes back out after all this snow!!!!! Good value overall.
Cons: Eat in breakfast was overly priced just like every other hotel on the planet. Seriously, $9 for two eggs?!?!?!?!?
Good7.1
Pros: My fiance and I visited for the holiday weekend. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room ammentities were updated. Great views of city (of your on the right side of the building). king size bed was nice to have although it wasn't especially soft. Room was cleaned every afternoon for when we returned. They have decent free wine ever day between 6 and 7. The hotel lobby and elevators and hallways were nicely decorated, full of art.
Cons: Room size was just average, didn't have much if any more room compared to other hotels. The shower was nothing special, same size and same shower head I would find at a 2 or 3 star hotel. Nothing was inclusive except for a few toiletries you may have forgotten at home. We had a weird Brown smudge on one of our end table drawers that room service had to clean up. Only 4 elevators for 25 floors of rooms was bad, if your in the top floor like we were we had to stop at 4-5 floors going up or down before we arrived at our room or the lobby. Ice is Only on one flone which is extremely inconvenient. These negatives were a big let down, overshadowing the positives for the price you pay.
Excellent8.0
Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff at front desk. Very good coffee available in lobby in morning. Good location.
Cons: We booked 12 rooms for bridal party for Friday and Saturday nights through Kayak, and also had arranged wedding block of 20 rooms through hotel. We were told by Kevin that bridal party could extend their stay to add Thursday night through the block, however when bridesmaid tried to do so, she said hotel did not cooperate and she booked a different hotel instead. Many of our booked rooms were not ready by hotel's check in time of 3 pm. Room and bathroom very small. Hotel was full during our stay; many long waits and delays with 4 elevators available.
Okay4.0
Pros: Location
Cons: 1) Room was extremely small and uncomfortable. 2) AC Fan cycled on and off every 15 seconds or so keeping me awake during most of my first night there. I reported this to the front desk and asked that it be fixed, but was not. I had to turn off the AC the next two nights in order to sleep. 3) We had booked several rooms for a wedding party. Only 1 was available for check in at the advertised check in time. 4) Only 4 elevators for a 25 story building made getting from floor to floor very difficult. For example: getting coffee and ice (each available at only 1 location in whole hotel) took an unacceptably long time due to long elevator waits. 5) Staff was not very helpful. One of our guests left an item in another room. I had to follow up with lost and found 3 times before I was able to get it back. 6) in short...while I've stayed in many hotels in my life, this is one of the worst experiences I have had. Next time I will stay in a Red Roof or similar....my experiences there have been much better. This was certainly the poorest "value for dollar" that I've ever experienced.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The hotel was pet friendly
Cons: Hotel need a pool
Excellent8.8
Pros: Friendly staff. Good location.
Cons: $50 for valet parking. Still not sure where they parked the car....
Excellent10.0
Pros: I liked a LOT on December 12 Santa klaus with all the dogs around It Was simple delightfull. For me a 10 Star hotel. We spend 3 weeks and we enjoyed
Excellent10.0
Pros: My hubby and infant stayed at this hotel for new years day, and we loved our experience. It was convenient to downtown philly, our city view king was spacious for a downtown hotel, and the hotel extras, like happy hour, morning coffee, and all day hot cocoa were lovely!
Excellent9.7
Pros: I always stay here completely love it great beds, rooms is large and comfortable and the onsite restaurant is top Notch! Will be back for sure
Cons: Room was a tad cold this time but only because it's winter and the room was on the outside facing wall of the hotel. I'd recommend an extra blanket if you're street facing with a few windows.
Excellent8.5
Pros: The staff was very good and the location was excellent.
Cons: Our room was not ready until 45 minutes after the check time. The bed was not comfortable.
Excellent8.2
Pros: Central location. Courtesy, friendliness and eagerness of staff.
Cons: Coffee machine was initially delivered with only decaf coffee and black tea K-cups. Manager on duty stated that hotel had run out of regular coffee. Luckily, some was found and delivered shortly thereafter.
Excellent10.0
Pros: We were in town for a wedding and gifted our reservation for Hotel Palomar to the newlyweds for the evening after their wedding. The staff at Hotel Palomar was fantastic- they quickly and easily added names to the reservation and a bottle of prosecco and lovely note was in the room when they arrived. They loved the room and we loved knowing they were well taken care of!
Cons: No complaints!
Excellent10.0
Pros: Clean, friendly and helpful staff. Great location.
Good6.0
Cons: Very disappointing deluxe room
Excellent10.0
Pros: The whole set up was lovely. The artwork in the hotel is great and the room is very clean and welcoming as well as the staff.
Cons: I got to Philly early but there wasn't an available room until the usual check in time, 3:00.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Absolutely LOVED staying here. My boyfriend and I stayed here after the marathon. Bottled water when we arrived, champagne and the staff upgraded our room! We got there 3 hours earlier for check-in and because our Queen room wasn't ready yet and my boyfriend was visibly exhausted from the marathon, they gave us a King room that was ready. The rooms are the perfect size, comfortable bed, clean bathroom with amenities, and room service was fantastic. Free wine social hour by the fire was incredible. Hotel is centrally located with a lot of great food surronding. We'lol be staying here anytime we're in Philly!
Cons: 18% gratuity and 5$ service charge placed on the food service is a bit excessive. The lady (who was so sweet) brought the tray into our room and had me sign a receipt that had a tip option on it. Just mad it a little uncomfortable. It didn't take away how amazing the food was though!
Excellent8.8
Pros: Great located, clean and comfiy. pretty new rooms. Nice staff
Cons: No free wifi (pretty oldfashioned) No parking, 48 $ for one day valet was pretty expensive.
Excellent9.4
Pros: Friendly and accommodating staff Plenty of nearby restaurants
Cons: No business center (but front desk was helpful)
Excellent8.8
Pros: It was fine for an overnighter.
Cons: Room wasn’t ready 30 minutes after check in time. Bar credit was supposed to be applied but wasn’t until I inquired.
Excellent10.0
Pros: I have stayed at Kimpton hotels on the east and west coasts and I have always had an excellent stay. The rooms are clean and well decorated, the rates reasonable, the staff warm and welcoming and the customer service exemplary.

Pros: Close to local attractions. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants, Franklin Institute, Art Museum, and Love Park. Short drive (15 minutes) to Old City and Penns Landing.
Cons: Beds were very firm- uncomfortable, but maybe suitable for others. Rooms are small. You can hear all noise- doors shutting in hall, elevators, guest conversations. Online photos made it look much more luxurious than it actually is.

Pros: Staff was very responsive in dealing with very loud neighbors. Great service!

Cons: Construction at an adjacent building seemed to go on all night long. Unable to have any silence or sleep. And then there was a taxi "horn-honking" demonstration in opposition to Uber. Worst hotel experience of my life.
Excellent10.0
Pros: clean, nice staff, secured parking, spacious rooms, microwaves in room, no smoking, comfortable bed and sheets
Cons: Daily parking was over $40/night
Good7.4
Pros: Fast check in despite chaos in parking garage.
Cons: Valet parking short staffed, chaotic, disorganized, long waits, long car line when we arrived. Decor and ambience not my taste. Lobby is not inviting or calm. Room was hot but with a terrible cold draft near window.
Excellent9.7
Pros: Great location to tourist sites. Rooms are moderdon, clean, spacious.
Cons: Room are not very sound proof.
Good6.0
Pros: Noisy and crowded they day we were there a plain clean serviceable hotel
Cons: Two things. Our room was between two college kid rooms with multiple tennants. They were polite but busy Other was we went to happy hour and the price was not honored
Excellent8.2
Pros: I love the nicely decorated rooms and modern feel. Great location.
Cons: Rooms not quietly. Could hear all traffic from the street and noise from other rooms and I was on the 9th floor. Would like to see Sonesta to replace those thin windows with something better.
Excellent9.4
Pros: Interesting design and great pool
Cons: The elevator was way to slow. We waited 10 minutes for the elevator at 5 in the morning and almost missed our Uber reservation.
Good7.0
Pros: Liked the staff - very nice. Also liked the reduced price for parking.
Cons: Lots of construction. Our recently renovated room was dingy in the bathroom already. Elevators taped up and walls exposed in the public areas (like hallways).
Excellent8.2
Pros: The bedding is super comfy and the overall look is modern and very pleasing. Great staff.
Cons: The room was a tad too small for me.
Excellent8.8
Pros: Great location, clean and very friendly hotel staff.
Cons: The Art Bar left a lot to be desired. Poor food and service.
Excellent8.0
Pros: The staff was friendly, respectful and professional.
Excellent9.1
Pros: the view and the room was lovely, the hotel is close to the city hall and to the museums. Bar on the first floor is good.
Cons: The pool was not very clean (passable) and people had to ask several times for towels. The pool area can be a great place - just add some plants, get rid of ugly fence, put a bar there....
Excellent8.0
Pros: Clean & facilities are modern
Cons: Room is describe with "city view", only view is an office building across our room. No full service restaurant in the hotel but walking distance to everything.
Excellent9.4
Pros: Great location & value. The staff was EXCELLENT!
Cons: It was very noisy. Kids screaming and running down the hall all day/night. Not the hotels fault, but did put a damper on the trip. Also, the room service food was awful. Poor quality and flavor.

Good6.2
Pros: Location was awesome. Staff was friendly.
Cons: Terrible TV...too small and very blurry. Food menu was weak...not enough variety and over priced for the quality. Should not have had to pay an extra 30.00 for one nights parking...outrageously over priced and a very sneaky added expense.
Excellent8.5
Pros: We only stayed for a night so did not get to take advantage of the beautiful lobby with many seating areas from high tops to cozy couches. Somehow it felt very open yet very homey and welcoming at the same time. Beautiful quiet neighborhood. Very friendly staff.
Cons: The heater in our room sounded like a mini-explosion every time it kicked on. The walls were paper thin. We were wakened by two female voices and two babies at 7:30 am. I would have sworn they were in our room.
Okay4.0
Pros: Bell hops and valets were very kind and professional.
Cons: Pet policy is not clearly stated on their website. We arrived at the hotel with the intention of sightseeing and ended up being stuck in our room watching our dog because the policy doesn't state online that you have to stay with him at all times even if he's in a crate. This made us on able to benefit from our complementary breakfast since he was also not allowed in the dining area and the entire purpose of the trip was for a Valentine's Day getaway with my husband. It left us leaving the room individually and scrambling for last-minute plans. We did not get to enjoy our vacation the way we expected to and were even more upset that when we called to ask about the policy that we weren't informed in advance. We did not get told until after check in
Excellent10.0
Pros: Very close to the historical sites, restaurants and Penn's Landing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Having access to the Club Lounge was very convenient to get breakfast or a drink to go.
Cons: Only valet parking available. Getting used to the noise of the heat/Air conditioning unit turning on and off. It was very quiet while it was running, just the starting and stopping noise that might wake you up if you aren't use to sounds.
Okay5.4
Pros: The room was old and dirty. It looked like it hadn't been deep cleaned for a long time. The door latch looked like someone had previously tried to use a knife or something to break in and the damage was just painted or stained over.
Okay5.7
Pros: The hotel had a great feel when you walked in. It looked very clean and modern.
Cons: When we arrived Saturday afternoon, there was no doorman to help with the bags. I ended up running into someone when I went to get a cart who was hanging out at the front desk talking. Also I was putting a stroller and there wasn't anyone to assist with holding the door open. Lastly, there were 2 weddings going on. From our room, we could hear the DJ until past 11:30 at night which isn't ok when you have small children and if you are a light sleeper.
Excellent9.1
Pros: The location was great and the staff was friendly and polite. Beds were comfortable and the decorations are nice.
Cons: The room was a little dusty and Part of the wall had some marking on it.
Excellent9.4
Pros: Room fab!
Cons: Parking fee was ridiculous!
Excellent8.0
Pros: Just a solid business hotel
Cons: Decor was generic in rooms, common areas, and outside. Thoroughly dull.

Pros: Fitness center was nice and the room was clean.
Cons: No rooms available at 3:00 check in. The desk clerk said he would call when a room is ready but he never called. The maid was the nicest hotel employee. The staff said they have self parking but that is not true, it is just side door valet parking.
Good6.5
Pros: The location is great, and overall the hotel Is attractive and well maintained. Most of the staff are excellent, from the front desk to the cleaning staff. They were helpful and courteous. Relative to similar hotels in the area, it's a great value.
Cons: This stay (our 4th, but first since it's no longer a radisson) we encountered a MAJOR problem at 4am, and with two young children to be displayed in the middle of the night without our belongings was awful. The night staff and cleaning staff were great but the manager on duty was unbelievably awful, as if we inconvenienced her when her shift started at 8 -- 4 hours after we started dealing with the issue. Instead of commiserating with awful circumstances and asking how we could be helped to be comforble, she mostly left us to or own devices to figure out clothing, food, and basics for two little children who'd been up all night, and had to be pressured to provide basic information about a plan for us to be able to leave. Unreal.
Excellent8.8
Pros: Lobby is beautiful, staff was pleasant. Bathroom shower had large clumps of some else's hair on the wall, little grossed out.
Cons: Better communication between the doorman and bell staff. Fd and valets were very pleasant. Seems the hotel missed the basics of check in and had ample time for the Fd to pass on guest last name from team member to team member. Missed making a good stay to a great stay, it just felt like everyone was just going through the motions. I cannot remember anyone's name as they did not use their name or ours. Doorman older white haired was very rushed and had several people calling on him. He seems like a seasoned veteran, but why is he assigned/called from the FD to come from the front drive, pull stored luggage out inside, then we had to request a bellman who showed up a few minutes later to add the luggage to a bell cart and then take me upstairs doesn't make much sense operationally. No eye contact or name recognition he some how dropped off my bags without even stopping (doorman). At the time (slow time) several front desk employees could have done this task, passed on any tip, put the luggage on the cart and let us know the bellman would be right up so we could relax. Bellman was very nice when we arrived, he had nothing to keep the door open so I held the door, could have been a good time to go over the room options or thermostat as it was very cold in the room and outside.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Fully recommend this hotel
Good6.8
Pros: This hotel was a decent value and the bed was comfortable. The location is excellent.
Cons: Safety: We checked in with several couples. One couple opened the door to their room after checking in and heard the TV on and saw someone's work boots on the floor by the bathroom. The hotel clerk had given them the keys to someone else's occupied room! The next morning, someone opened the door to my husband's and my room while I was sleeping. I called out my husband's name and the person closed the door. My husband ran out of the bathroom and checked the hall, but no one was there. Thank goodness we had closed the extra security slider so they could only open the door about an inch. Otherwise, who knows what would have happened. After that, we were anxious the whole morning until checkout. Thank goodness our stay was only one night.
Good6.5
Cons: The last night there was a group of drunk people outside my room. They were fist fighting and screaming from 3am-5:30am. Eventually, security had to come a haul them to the police station. It was very violent and scary. One young man was begging everyone (security included) to beat him to death. Quite frankly, I will not use Kayak to book rooms unless they reimburse me for a night.
Good7.6
Pros: The hotel lobby was very nice
Cons: I did not like how my room seemed like no one even checked it. The light switches coming into the room were not connected to anything, the smoke detector was dangling from its wires. The outlet next to the bed wasn't even connected to the wall so when I went to pull out my charger I pulled out the outlet as well. The heater in the bathroom also looked old, and stained. And the bed sheets had rips in them. The the amount of money that I spent on that one person room, I would have expected that it would have been a little better looked after.
Good7.3
Pros: The lobby and decor
Cons: The wait time at the desk, the cigar smell in the lobby.
Good6.0
Pros: Location
Cons: A little dated and the front desk is a little all over place
Excellent8.3
Pros: Great location. Contemporary design.
Cons: Room did not get cleaned one day.
Excellent8.2
Pros: Hard to beat the location for shopping and restaurants. Staff was great! Good value overall, will likely be back.
Cons: Rooms could use some cosmetic touch ups.
Good6.5
Cons: They didn't have my reservation and they charged me $281 in addition to the $206 I paid to getaroom. I explained that and showed my reservation to the desk clerks when I arrived and when I left and the t have still not removed the extra charge.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The room was spacious and comfortable, also very clean
Cons: Didnt like the square shallow sink in the bathroom. Looks great but not functional or user friendly at all
Good6.6
Pros: Very nice lobby and good size rooms.
Cons: We had 15 rooms for my daughters wedding. Our room at check in had a dirty coffee cup and used toothbrush at the sink. We had the room re cleaned but imagine how I felt as mother of the bride when 3 others were talking about their dirty room at the rehearsal dinner! The worst room was a aunt who's bed was made with dirty sheets, tv on, trash on floor and dirty bath. Gross
Excellent8.6
Pros: I was wow'd by the entrance and the lobby! The mix of textures, colors, and moods was brilliant. I was pleased by the hotel room. It was spacious and clean. The decorations were modern and reflected the spirt of Philadelphia. The staff were courteous and pleasant; it seemed as though they really enjoyed being there.
Cons: Like most urban hotels, the walls were thin. I was able to hear the music being played in the rooms next to mine. Thankfully, this was early in the evening.
Okay4.0
Cons: Racist white staff.
Excellent8.0
Pros: I like that staff was quick to upgrade my room and give vouchers for free breakfast and beverages, after issues of a/c and tub drain. Made me feel like a valued customer even though I had a cheaper room.
Cons: Would have like a bigger fridge, w/ small freezer for ice cream. And maybe 2 water bottles per day instead of just one.
Excellent8.0
Pros: good beds, spacious and clean room, excellent location
Cons: We arrived at 7 pm and rooms was not cleaned and ready. Had to wait to get a room for 20 min.

Pros: The hotel is centrally located and very well maintained. I believe that the value for dollars was excellent. Service and amenities were also excellent.
Excellent9.6
Pros: The staff was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable of the city. We had a great experience!
Cons: They must have given our room away before we checked in. Our group of 3 friends got one king bed so we had to use a roll-away cot, which wasn't the most comfortable thing.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The hotel and staff were extraordinary. i was always greeted upon leaving and entering the hotel. Oftentimes the bellman or concierge would ask if I needed anything. I must have looked a bit lost!!! The situation detailed below needs to be addressed because other than that, the room was most comfortable with a lovely view of City Hall northward Amanda in housekeeping was excellent in refreshing my room and being extra certain there was no detail that was omitted
Cons: There wasn't anything "I didn't like!" However, The only "hiccup" I experienced was a slight odor of tobacco in. my room at the end of each day. When I notified the front desk they were quick to put a plan in place to remedy the problem. Unfortunately, the odor continued and was probably a function of the odor of the carpet, drapery and bedding.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia is a luxurious, welcoming hotel centrally located just south of the iconic City Hall. The.staff were courteous, responsive and very helpful. My room was oversized and very comfortable with outstanding housekeeping service. This was my third visit and will surely not be my last. My son now lives in center city, so this will be my home when visiting in the future.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The service and attentiveness to detail is always excellent. My room was lovely and more than comfortable. This is a lovely hotel with a perfect location, just south of City Hall.
Cons: We experienced several days of significant rainfall and the lack of a covered awning to the curb was a bit inconvenient.
Good6.0
Pros: Awesome building champagne at checkin have had many enjoyable and memorable stays.
Cons: Understaffed, poor service sub par to other Ritz hotels. We were provided with wrong room on arrival. Room was somewhat dated and curtains had large weird stains on them. Carpet in room was also stained making it feel dirty. Restaurant service was horrible / waited 40 mins for a table then waited another 15 mins to get acknowledged by staff. Used express checkout, left some negative comments and asked for emailed updated portfolio via email - never received. I've had better service and value for money in other not so "refined" hotels.
Excellent8.5
Cons: Mediocre food
Good7.7
Pros: The manager took great care of us after she was told about our disappointments. She was wonderful and made our second night much better than the first. Most of the other staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: The facility is extremely old along with the heating/air conditioning units. Our sheets had a hole in them. Had disappointment with 2 staff members who were a bit rude. Felt the crowd that hung out in the hotel bar and/or were staying at the hotel were a bit trashy. For the price per night, we could stay at the Sofitel or Four Seasons and get better accommodations.

Pros: The location of the hotel was great, and the room temperature and tv channel selection was great as well. The amenity options were very nice.
Cons: I paid for a room with a courtyard view and was given one with a view of the Street. The towels were very starchy and itchy to use. The shampoo was very low quality and caused both my husband and I to have dry and itchy scalp. The bedding had some sort of stains that they tried to hide by adding an extra sheet on top. The room was also very small and almost crammed. Overall, it seemed like the cost was only for the Hilton name and not for the quality. I’ve paid less for better service and quality in other large cities.
Excellent8.0
Pros: Great location, nice rooms, wonderful showers, and the staff was friendly.
Cons: The hotel restaurant was decent at best. It seems like it should be an attraction but is merely just a side note with interesting decorations. And they also charge $60 a night for parking at a hotel you are already paying to stay in. That was almost half of what I paid for the room. It's not NY or DC and shouldn't cost $60 to park. Ever. Anywhere.
Excellent8.8
Pros: Really enjoyed my stay. While not traditional room service, the food at Urban Farmer was amazing.
Excellent9.7
Pros: Comfortable beds, spacious room and bathroom. Very slow draining tub. Beautiful view from Assembly rooftop bar. Would stay there again.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The staff was absolutely amazing. Every interaction was welcoming and friendly as if every single person there had a mission to make my stay the best it could be. The food was outstanding also. We were pampered!
Excellent9.7
Pros: Excellent staff, hotel design top notch as you can tell special attention has been placed on presentation. Pool excellent, kids loved it, very clean and well kept. Rooftop lounge excellent with great view. Valet service very good as car arrived in 5 minutes without having to call ahead. I definitely recommend this property hands down!
Cons: Room was a bit dusty, kids were both were sneezing and coughing before bedtime. You could see it on the nightstand, perhaps room was unoccupied for some time. Otherwise I highly recommend the Logan!
Good6.5
Pros: The Good: Very luxurious rooms. Friendly staff. Really good food on site at the Urban Kitchen. Location was prime to get to all the museums and city center.
Cons: The Bad: 2+ hours delayed check in time. Compensation was essentially a drink at the bar. This happened to many people around us. When we finally got to our rooms, there were NO towels!!! For the price we paid and the star value of this hotel, I was very disappointed.
Good6.8
Pros: The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Old king bed with two craters on either side and a mountain in the middle. Sparse king suite room missing some typical and expected details such as a bag for ice bucket, a second robe, or a second cutlery set from room service. The staff was nice and accommodating, but we just stopped calling the front desk after the 2nd call. Also the vanity area of the bathroom was awkwardly massive - perhaps 12'x24'. It contained a single sink, and a separate make-up vanity (without a stool). The toilet and shower (no tub) were located through a separate door to the standard, camped hotel bathroom. Weird prioritize took of space, that made the suite feel awkward.
Excellent9.7
Pros: Location was perfect. Heated indoor saltwater pool was lovely.
Cons: Breakfast by voucher for value amount.
Excellent9.1
Pros: Staff was helpful and welcoming throughout the hotel. Excellent location. Great bar on the top floor. Room had a fridge and coffee maker.
Cons: Bathroom had no electrical outlets, so couldn’t use the supplied hair dryer in the bathroom, and no fan. TV had to load some weird “portal” software which was glitchy and hard to use.
Excellent9.3
Pros: Wife and I had a great time here. The location, staff and food is excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel for adults. With Kayak's website I got a great deal, thank you.
Cons: Age is catching up with this hotel, hall carpets, moulding need to be changed and the bathrooms should be modernized. I rate this hotel at 4.3 stars.
Good7.7
Cons: The hotel seems a bit run down. Lighting in the room was bad.
Good7.4
Pros: Excellent breakfast at the farmers restaurant. Room was very clean.
Cons: Double beds should be changed to queen beds. Poor drainage in bathroom of sink and tub.
Good7.3
Pros: The comfort of the bed.
Cons: It just felt old, out of date, old school, stuffy. I was also surprised that the only amenity for such an expensive hotel was a tiny little cup of coffee, self-served in the foyer. You had to pay for everything, even WiFi access.
Excellent9.6
Pros: Very friendly, knowledgable staff, ready to help at an instant. Very nice rooms, nice location
Good6.0
Nice hotel and very friendly, accommodating staff. It’s in a good location and we were able to walk to multiple restaurants and attractions. I wasn’t too impressed with the cleanliness of the room itself. There was garbage on the floor from the previous guests, including chips, toy pieces and a vape pen.
Good6.0
Pros: Food at Urban Farmer was fabulous. Quite a delight. Rooftop bar was excellent - beautiful view.
Cons: Room smelled like smoke. First staff person apologized and offered no other solutions. Second call the staff person offered an ozone machine to clean the air. He never showed up. I called two hours later after dinner and they said they couldn't bring the ozone machine to the room, stating that the machine couldn't be in use when the guest was in the room. Disappointed in response and knowledge of staff.

Cons: The room was never cleaned and we spent 3 nights until I complained to the manager. One of the elevators was broken all weekend which left a single elevator for all the guests and staff. The lines for the only working elevator were very long sometimes taking 20 to 30 minutes to be able to return to your room. Very disappointed. I asked fir an adjustment to our bill or some accommodation however nothing was done. We will not return.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Very convenient and trendy location. We love that there is free sparkling water and coffee/ cappuccino/expresso
Cons: Since rooms are small, space is tight.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Super accommodating staff and convenient location. The rate for a last minute Saturday booking was also a nice bonus! Will definitely stay again.
Excellent8.0
Pros: The location is perfect for getting around the city with easy walking distance to the city center. The staff was attentive and the hotel was very clean and well maintained. The furniture and fixtures were all very new and modern while the building itself still had charming, old-fashioned architecture. Also, each floor has a filtered water dispenser and bottles that guests have access to 24/7.
Cons: I didn't mind that the room was small, but I felt like it was an inefficient use of space. There were no towel racks and nowhere in the bathroom to set any toiletries, bags, etc. The toilet was a very utilitarian public-style toilet that I thought clashed with the nicer fixtures and furnishings. We were only provided with one wash cloth and one hand towel, neither of which were replaced when the room was cleaned. Only one towel was replaced. We had to reuse the hand towel and bath mat, and request more wash cloths the next day. The rooms don't have their own irons, ironing boards, etc. but there is a large communal closet on each floor for guests to go get their extra things as needed. There is no continental breakfast. Very small elevators. You're definitely paying more for the location than you are for the amenities.
Located in Old City, this eco-friendly hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Independence Mall, Liberty Bell Center, and Independence Hall. Pennsylvania Convention Center and Reading Terminal Market are also within 15 minutes. 5th St. Station is only a 4-minute walk and 2nd St. Station is 6 minutes.

Cons: No fridge in room.

Pros: never stayed in Philadelphia or even seen this side of the city. So beautiful, lots of character surrounding the hotel and close to so many restaurants and bars.
Cons: Check in time being 4pm and check out time being 11am. If you have a late night its not fun being up early on a holiday or weekend away.
Excellent9.3
Pros: The location is excellent and the room was large, bright and comfortable. Highly recommended.
Cons: The only negative is that they could have provided a softer kleenex.

Pros: Waterfront view was very nice. Staff was friendly (we only interacted with the fromt desk). Clean room & hallways. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom.
Cons: Nothing spectacular, a prettt basic room. King bed, desk, desk chair, loung chair with ottoman, dresser, tv above dresser, coffee maker, empty mini fridge. It was a nice view but nothing luxurious. The wifi is paid, not included. $32 self park, $42 valet.
Excellent9.1
Pros: The best part of this hotel is the location. You were walking distance to so many tourist attractions and right on the river. We went down and explored the submarine and everything we could. With the conventions and the weddings without a little out of place but it wasn't the hotels fault--we loved it! Great pool too!
Excellent8.0
Pros: I liked everything. It was a good hotel, clean, and safe.
Cons: I didn't like the restaurant or the food. I told the waiter how awful the food was and he immediately took it off my check. I did not expect that at all. I was willing to pay for everything. I wish I had just gone to a restaurant outside of the hotel, but was on a time crunch.
Okay4.8
Pros: The front desk staff
Cons: There was a couple yelling all night in the room next to us. We spent $300 to stay in a nice hotel and didnt sleep all night. I realize this was not the hotel's fault but we asked to be moved and it could happen. It was so terrible.
Good7.7
Pros: Location
Cons: Advertised a SPA online - no SPA no Jacuzzi - also pool was closed for some reason, which was the whole reason we stayed there.
Good6.0
Pros: Hilton is pretty much a hotel where you know what you can expect from them and it generally is a notch above their competition.
Cons: Security in the lobby at midnight when I arrived due to loud and obnoxious people at bar. Hard to hear upon check in which was late. They put me in a room that is exactly the OPPOSITE of my profile request. No room by elevator... put me right next to it. Neighbors partied all night and hotel phone didn't work to call to resolve issue. When I finally got it to work, they never resolved the noise. When I asked for the room to be refunded and cancel the remainder of my stay, they refused! Since when did we begin getting held hostage by hotel companies? Very unusual for Hilton brand, but this staff at THIS hotel have work to improve.
Okay4.5
Cons: I would say for the money it was not worth it. It was not that clean in my bathroom hotel. It was very noise, you could hear the traffic all night.
Excellent10.0
Pros: I love the energy from the staff to even the parking attendants. The pool was phenomenal and the breakfast was amazing. definitely a hotel to visit again when in the Phila I hope to visit the penns landing Hilton family again soon
Cons: Parking was expensive I ended up using street parking across the street and paying for the meter.
Okay4.5
Pros: The view was incredible valet parking was sweet
Cons: The fact that I had a family emergency and wasn't offered any sort of amount back. I paid 435 for less than 6 hours in a room
Excellent8.5
Pros: Profesional and friendly staff.
Cons: Parking way too expensive. 44 per night for valet and 32 to park yourself but gotta take 3 elevators and various walkways to get to your car.
Good6.8
Pros: The staff at the front desk were exceptional and extremely helpful. The doorman and valet were amazing providing information about the city and transportation.
Cons: The restaurant and bar were horrible! Service was slow and overwhelmed but they tried hard to provide service. Our burgers were not cooked properly. My burger was burned and my fiancé asked for medium rare and got well done. We sent it back and the burgers still were pathetic and not good. We ate them anyway we were starving after traveling all day. Later that evening after returning from dinner out and a bit of shopping we went to the bar for a night cap and waited 20 minutes before anyone even spoke to us and then another 20 minutes to get a simple captain and Coke and a lemonade -- needless to say we walked out!
Good6.8
Pros: Efficient and good price
Cons: Uncomfortable room, and difficult to get a bottle of water. Overall just a workable stay
Excellent10.0
Pros: I really didn't know what we had gotten ourselves into until we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised. This is the perfect location and is close to everything. There is an adorable little park right outside that has cute little events all summer long. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Oh and did I mention the view??? Amazing!
Good6.2
Pros: Location
Cons: The room and the bathroom had an awful smell. Please add better room and bathroom spray
Excellent10.0
Pros: We liked the location by the river, you get to see the view of the city and water. The staff was very professional, the rooms are modern and clean. We would definitely stay again, it was a great value for the price.
Cons: The waterfront location means you're a bit removed from everything else. No street parking, and self parking is thirty per night.
Excellent8.0
Cons: Paying $30+ for parking that should have been included
Excellent9.4
Pros: Great location, fun park right outside. Great staff & fantastic room!
Excellent9.4
Pros: The rooms are spacious and clean. Strong shower. We were coming to Philly for a concert, then going to South Street. The hotel is located at Penns Landing right on the riverfront which is really nice. It’s also close enough to walk to the bars and restaurants on South St. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I can’t speak for the pool or gym facilities because we did not use them. I would definitely stay here again.
Located in Chinatown, this hotel is within a 5-minute walk of Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, Pennsylvania Convention Center and Reading Terminal Market. City Hall and Walnut Street are also within 10 minutes. Race Vine Station is only a 4-minute walk and 13th St. Station is 5 minutes.

Website is incorrect—no parking associated with hotel. Staff rudely wouldn’t direct me to parking when I refused $45 per night valet parking. No hot water early in AM, tube wouldn’t drain, faucet falling off. Other than that, friendly staff and good experience.

Cons: There was no restaurant inside or attached with exception of a bar that served appetizers from 5-10
Excellent8.8
Pros: Comfortable beds and spacious suites
Cons: Pull out bed was very uncomfortable.
Excellent8.0
Pros: Breakfast was ok. There was a small selection for the size of the hotel and amount of people in the breakfast area. Fruit was over ripe and sour. Bar area has a covered outdoor area.
Cons: My particular room was very noisy. My window overlooked the roof with HVAC units. Walls dinged up. I actually got the room for free so I shouldn’t complain too much, but if I had paid for this room I’d be unhappy.
Excellent9.0
Pros: mini bar; breakfast; go bags
Good6.6
Pros: Full breakfast was pretty good and included in the price of the room. Good price for close to Center City, Chinatown, Market East.
Cons: I booked the room through Kayak.com and paid for it through them. Hampton Inn put an extra $50 on my credit card without telling me as a hold against additional charges. That's fair, but I should have been informed of this. Bathroom fan was noisy, bathroom sink was slow draining, pillows are too soft for our taste.
Excellent10.0
Pros: The hotel is well-located (right across street from convention center) and comfortable. The staff was friendly & helpful (especially our housekeeper on the 8th floor - forgot her name!)
Cons: Parking is a half block down in a small outdoor lot and is expensive! The staff there (private company-not hotel) was incompetent.
Good6.0
Pros: Friendly staff. Good location I. The center of city. Near restaurants ferry bars historical area etc.
Cons: Additional fee for parking. No refrigerator. Staff not knowledgeable of th surrounding area.
Mediocre2.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Located next door to a halfway house for addicts, homeless people laying and sitting on the sidewalk all around the building, no secure parking area within ??? miles, staff totally unresponsive to questions about safety for guests and their vehicles. We left and went to another Hampton located in Vineland approximately 30 miles away due to the safety issues. Somone from your organization has to contact me as we did call your 800 number and got somebody in India that said they could not help us. I want you to refund us our money and if I have to take a full page ad in all major newspapers advising people what kind of service you provide I will. Good7.1
Cons: There are many homeless persons in the neighborhood. A shuttle service from the hotel to areas friendly for public transportation would be desirable.
Excellent10.0
Pros: We loved the overhead walkway connection to the Crown Plaza and their facilities. Incredible grounds, restaurant, bar, gym, pool. Nice staff and room, plus Jogging trails, flowers, free parking and breakfast. Terrific value!
Excellent10.0
Pros: Great hospitality, clean and modern hotel in a great area. 25$ a day parking but you can enter and exit as you please, decent price because in the area it's 25-40$ a day with no in and out privileges. Worth every penny IMO. Great hotel.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent8.8
Pros: location was great, everything was fresh and clean, the staff was AMAZING!! the bar was great, breakfast was hot and tasty.
Cons: I paid for a king sized bed room. i got a double full. they said sorry, gave me a free drink. but still. i wanted a romantic evening, and this didn't ruin it, but it wasn't what i had in mind when i booked it.
Excellent9.6
Pros: Staff was very to me and my girlfriend we had a great time it was her birthday weekend and the staff at the hotel gave her a birthday cup cake and ice cream really nice of them Julian
Cons: N/a
Excellent10.0
Pros: The serving and kitchen staff at the continental breakfast were so friendly and helpful. They also proved a great breakfast and it's complimentary. Every staff member I encountered were helpful and polite.
Excellent10.0
Pros: Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Great location for conferences. Free bottled water and cold towels were highly appreciated during the summer heat wave.
Mediocre2.0
Pros: Good Breakfast. Nice Staff. Very good staff at the lobby and breakfast area. Robert is a dynamo, constantly helping people.
Cons: The site said there was a pool and hot tub. This is an egregious lie. There is no pool or hot tub. I selected this hotel for the pool and hot tub. Suffice to say, I am extremely disappointed.
Good7.7
Cons: That we had to pay for parking on top of our hotel room.
