Cons: "In this fairly new plane, the rows of seats are so close together, the leg room is minimal. When the tray is lowered, you feel completely squashed in the seat. The food trays are not picked up quickly after eating."

Rating low to the crew mainly because of the ground staff as they were not very communicative to begin with about the explanation for our delay. Only when the passengers got a bit more vocal about wanting explanations, they started giving us a bit more information. All estimated times given for boarding the flight were incorrect by a big margin! Seemed more like they were giving shorter wait time for boarding just to please the passengers, where as they were well aware of how long the wait would be."

Cons: "Our flight to Bali was cancelled due to the volcano eruption. We did not receive any compensation, but Singapore/Silk Airlines told us they were able to get us a flight home to LAX instead, but that it wouldn't be until the next day. We spent money on a hotel and food and waited until the next morning, got to the airport early for check in only to find that Singapore/Silk had in fact, given up our seats that they had promised us. They said that we now would have to wait another day just to get a flight from Singapore to LAX. We asked to speak with a manager, and eventually were able to get two seats due to cancellations. This was intended to be a very special and romantic trip that was essentially ruined. Since no one could have anticipated that the volcano would cause cancellation, we should be refunded for our flights. We are so crushed that we did not get to go to Bali, and now we may NEVER get to go because we are out of money. At the VERY least, the leg of our flights from Singapore to Bali, and Bali to Singapore, should be refunded. We are extremely disappointed."

Cons: "During initial boarding at IAD our carry on baggage was ok. But boarding at Dubai there was carry-on baggage weight check and we had to pay additional $200. And then our baggage was then checked in. Seemed to be totally unethical."

WHen landed in DXB, There was a long walk form the plane to the gate where you can find a stroller in the airport( which is only a single stroller) and having 3 kids which does not help. Why not give strollers at gate just like all other airlines! I was prepared and had the double stroller with me! Never again on Emirates with kids!"

Cons: "Be sure to take your own water bottle with you on this long 14 hour flight. Both directions it seemed that the company approach to beverages was to serve as little as possible, perhaps to keep people out of the bathrooms. But the cabin air was so dry I could barely swallow at times one way drinking only what was provided, but the other way I noticed that my jet lag was greatly reduced when I carried and consumed an extra liter or two above what was provided. At one gate the security crew asked me to dump my water, but I had a small empty bottle with me that I could fill up at the spigot near the bathroom on the plane as needed."

Understanding of English is not that good. 2.Had problems checking the luggage all through despite connection was through star alliance. 3.Had to wait in airport in transit to get boarding passes. Did not understand why it was despite having booked seats early. 4.Seats provided were not good. 5.Also head phones didn't work. I told staff three times and still no response. Finally gave up i had booked because ratings were good. But service was not even close to expectations. Dissapointed."

Cons: "We didn't like that our confirmed aisle seat had been switched since we checked in and were confirmed. It was uncomfortable for a while trying to solve this with the ground staff, but they put the message through and I mentioned it again and it was resolved in the end."

Pros: "I had the opportunity of flying The Apartment from Abu Dhabi to JFK. It was one of the most incredible first class cabin experiences ever. The experience starts when boarding the aircraft and you are personally escorted to your seat and introduced to the several features around you. The space is ample and the cabin has some privacy doors making it feel very exclusive. There is a large couch across the seat which later is converted into a bed. I was offered pijamas and a small closet to hang my clothes right before take off. Once on the air our personal chef introduced himself and explained the different dishes from the menu. I was able to try the steak and the lamb biryani; both were superb. The IES provided a decent selection of western and some middle eastern films as well as a few live news channels. After I woke up our flight attendant explained the on board shower which is also a distinctive feature allowing to feel refreshed before landing. I had another meal before landing which included an appetizer, and entree and a dessert made with roses. The crew was nothing but fantastic and I would love to fly with them again."

Pros: "The staff for our flight were all extremely friendly and accommodating.When I checked in the airline attendant switched me to a window seat which was very considerate. Flight attendants came through the cabin several times with drinks and snacks and ensured we had the most comfortable flight possible. I thought the entertainment choices were excellent and really provided a wide array of genres and a unique multicultural assortment. Meals were very good, served in generous portions, and having a vegetarian diet I was happy to be so easily accommodated."

Cabin luggage upon retrieval at destination was scratched/dirty and one glass item inside was broken. Recommend Etihad provides complimentary luggage wrapping to prevent such issues. Additionally, crew was unable to manage noisy kids, and a request for ear plugs was ignored. Recommend Etihad provide affected travelers with ear plugs to manage the noise, and that the crew undergo training to better manage problematic parents w/kids."

Felt like second class..."

Oy, first and LAST time I fly Etihad."

Etihad didn't load all my luggage due to transfer - so had to stand in line to file a report after a 34 h flight! Very unhappy about that, even though luggage arrived later on same day.. Boarding process was chaotic. Can you get Indians to form a line by zones, as all other airlines do??? It was a very short flight hence I truly appreciate the snack and drinks provided and especially the fabulous ice cream treat on the return flight. I would certainly consider taking MAS again in future (this was my first MAS flight), despite the one glitch (please see what I didnt like) if the price is right."
Cons: "I had only one large backpack to be checked in (due to the minimum liquid that can be brought) and it was left at the airport somehow by whoever who was handling it. Waited for more than an hour at KLIA for it and finally made a loss baggage report. The staff at the loss baggage counter was only helpful after finding out that I am not a Malaysian. Needless to say, my bag flew on SQ and was rushed to my hotel 5 and half hours after landing. I also did not receive a copy of the baggage delivery report."
