Alaska Airlines offered free checked bag and personal bag with ticket price which I found to be very reasonable. Of the other airlines I found Alaska Airlines to be most comfortable, have friendly and efficient staff and reasonable pricing. Newark airport is rather easy to navigate given its size. We found Seattle airport to be a bit difficult to navigate, especially when returning a rental. Customers in this instance should allow extra time for the car return, bus to the terminal and navigating through the airport which included several monorails to get to our boarding terminal and through security to the gate. Signage for security was confusing we needed to ask for direction and restaurants were limited and short staffed once through security. As long as you allow for extra time, we found it to be relatively painless.

The WiFi worked for entertainment but a nearly 4 hour flight should have personal tvs

Generally very good. Waiting (due to de-icing and traffic) in plane to take off was a put-off. But it's not the airline's fault. I find Airbus more comfortable than Boeing.

Lot's of good food and free entanglement made the trip pleasurable and fun.

The food was terrible, worse that what you get with UA, an already one of the lowest standards to beat. How cheap one could be, providing that kind of junk food in first class. Unbelievable! The seats were not very comfortable either. And there were no screens either, not that I cared much but for you to know.

Easy check-in. Good customer service. Had to check carry-on due to lack of overhead space. Wish the airplane was configured with more overhead area so this doesn't usually happen.

Great flights, little turbulence, pilots kept stewardesses seated & safe, all staff friendly & professional

There is no entertainment on the plane. The snack is minimal. The crew was nice and professional.

Smooth flight, on time despite Captain’s forecast of troublesome weather conditions.

The aircraft was extremely warm the entire flight. After we landed we were stuck on the plane for another 45 minutes without a gate to deboard from. The smell of exhaust from the engines in the cabin along with the heat inside the cabin made the flight uncomfortable.
