My wife and I liked almost everything about ANA except for the economy seat space and the cold breakfast (croissant which seemed to just come out of the fridge)

When booking the flight i picked it because it said flying with ana even on our e-ticket as well but I showed up to the airport and I flew with united. I have flew with both airlines before and I prefer ana for the food quality and comfortable. So I was disappointed in that outcome and felt the food gave me minor ibs. The whole thing was missing leading with not getting what I thought I was paying for. Felt a bait and switched. Do not have confidence in using this app in the future trips
This was a large plane with an upper deck. It seems like business was upstairs. If it was a US airline then I would say I sat in economy plus, but I think it was just economy. Though since ANA would not allow me to choose seats for the price it may have been plus. Lots of movies to choose from, and good service.
This was the best airline I’ve ever taken. The staff are amazing. The food was great. The pilot was phenomenal. I would highly recommend this airline.
There wasn't much entertainment for my short flight but the onboarding process was smooth and the crew provided wonderful service. The seats were also reasonably comfy. Great flight.
Cabin crew were excellent in taking care of my mom as she boarded the aircraft from her wheelchair. Did not care much for the food served.

Crew was great. But a bit understaffed. The business class seat, etc were dated. But comfortable. Some legs had entertainment system from a decade ago. Selections were rather poor. Food was mediocre at best. Actually poor for business class standards. I liked the lounge in Hong Kong. Showers were great. Food was nice.

Vietjet tried to steal extra money from passengers by forcing them to change the name on the ticket that was correctly filled in on an English form online when ticket bought online. I bought the ticket via a foreign website where the language is English, At filling in the passenger's name, it says middle name first, then first name, and last name, That the ticket done and printed. when my wife checked in the staff at the check in counter said that her name was written wrong, she must fill the name in Vietnamese style, writing the Last name first, then middle name, first name comes last, even though her name was not misspelled. At the aiport I asked the Vietjet customer service, if it is written in Vietnamese way, it will be wrong when she travel abroad ? The custom service could not answer. It took over an hour where my wife was thrown like a ball between the check-in counter, to the Vietjet customer service , then to passport control. The cost is 110,000 vnd for change place in vietnamese way, I thought if there are millions of passengers who have done the same mistake, how much money Vietjet raked in every year On the flight, it is not allowed to sit in the empty seats in front or next to me, I sat in the middle in a row where two big men were sitting, I really need to change seats but the crew asked to pay extra to buy the empty seats.
