Cons: "At Mumbai airport, during check-in I was told that my carry on bag plus personal item together should weigh not more than 7kgs!! I have never had any airline actually weigh my personal item (laptop backpack) before this journey. Eventually I ended up stuffing my check-in bags with everything I was carrying in my carry on bag before I was allowed to check in. The weird thing is, I was never told about this rule on my journey from the US to India."

When we got thru immigration in record time due to the newly installed kiosks, we waited for 2.5hours to get our luggage, there was only one carousel open for an entire A380 airplane with all its luggage and the boxes were piling up on each other, some of them were crushed due to overloading, it took them 2 hours to open a second carousel to offload all of the bags. During this entire time, the Emirates representatives were unhelpful, the local SFO personnel were quite disorganized as well."

If a customer has a short layover, which their system knows about since it is the sourve of the flight plans, put the customer toward the front of the aircraft since these flights are habitually late and customers end up having to sprint through airports to try to make connections."

Pros: "I have been Flying Blue platinum for six years in a row. I often wondered why I never got a complimentary upgrade... Well, I can no longer complain: I was very kindly invited to move across that curtain. Of course, in short haul (2-hours+) A321 flights, all seats are created equal, business or main cabin... But the attention was there, excellent service, and gourmet food too. The whole experience was great. I'll go on flying Air France with fewer regrets."

Pros: "Food was surprisingly plentiful and good. Crew was friendly and helpful. Movie selections were adequate."
Cons: "The leg room between seats was non-existant. I'm only average height and it was terribly cramped. For a taller person it would be torture."

Pros: "Due to delay in flight of amost 2 hrs, the in flight staff was kind enough to offer drinks and snacks while the passengers were waiting in the plane."
Cons: "Terrible communication by the staff on the cause of delay. Also once we landed in Paris, the ground staff was not aware whether all the luggage has landed or not."

Pros: "I enjoyed the flights attendants attentiveness and friendliness. The food was surprisingly good (I enjoyed a nice curry dish); we appreciated the portions as well as snacks on our long flight. The music and video selection also made for a much more pleasant flight. The plane was newer and offered features like USB charging ports. Would definitely fly British Airways again!"
Cons: "My only complaint would be the tightness (closeness of rows) of the seats. But it’s coach, so not much can be done there. They were at least comfortable and reclined quite a bit."

Cons: "I took a BA flight after a while. I had stopped flying BA in flight service and comfort was poor. I travel business class. Seats were dated (seat cushions), plane was dated, inflight entertainment systems dated (compared to most other airlines). Crew goofed up on food. I had a seat change which I informed the Sr Purser who came to take food order, his colleague who came to serve drinks. Still the server gave my food to the other passenger who had requested to change seats. Which resulted in no food for me. They clamoured some meal fro economy class and served so shabbily (only a pic can show how shabby it was - unfortunately I can't attach one here). In spite of all this the purser showed no remorse or offered no apology. I think I made a mistake in choosing BA, should have never come back to them."

Cons: "Boarding via bus to plane was an added hassle The cabin temperature throughout flight was uncomfortably cold On each trip I have made with BA ( 6 in last year USA to U.K. and Spain) lack of overhead luggage space is always an issue. I paid 65 pounds for an extra check-on small suitcase, yet I couldn’t even put a small holdall in overhead because others had whole suitcases in there. This needs to be re-evaluated!"

Pros: "The drinks were great, however the food specifically the salmon meal (Great Britain breakfast) seemed to be missing something. The stewardess mentioned my partner to have the chicken as there was only a portion of the meal. But, I paid £24 for the meal. Although, the vegan and veggie meals were great!"
Cons: "Next time I will pay more attention to the two row seating and pay for seats in that area of the plane. Other than that, good service."

Pros: "I like that they upgraded the seat. My other flights, however, were garbage. This particular one was pleasant."

Pros: "We could tell upon boarding that the crew was focused on making our fight of 10 hours as pleasant as they could. They got along well together, which aided in providing excellent coordinated care to the passengers. Not an hour passed without being offered food, drinks, snacks, drinks, and more food. Even a time delay at take off due of a passenger leaving passport in the terminal was made up mid flight, for an ontime arrival in SFO. Would definitely look to British Airways for my next European trip."

Cons: "For the 2nd time, neither me or my husband got our food choice...it has happened everytime we have flown. And we purchased full fare business class seats! I can understand once and maybe for one of us but it has happened EVERY time. MOST IMPORTANTLY, I sadly left my laptop onboard and I called the number for SFO BA Lost and Found for 48 hours....every 20 minutes. NO ONE answered and no one returned my messages. I finally had to drive back to the airport to talk to a human....a 5 hr round trip. No laptop turned in and it didn't turn back up in London. So clearly, cleaning crew stole it. That in its own right is a problem but NO ONE returning my calls. Completely unacceptable. I got the duty manager's email and emailed him TWICE over TWO days before he returned my email. I highly doubt I will fly BA again, I'm afraid."

Cons: "I prepaid for 3 seats in the front row of a coach section according to the diagram provided when I paid $75 per seat to reserve them. If I had known we would be placed back a row and not able to be more comfortable I would not have paid that fee. I do feel as though I was scammed for the $225 for reserving the seats."

Pros: "BA crew was amazing--friendly, courteous, helpful. There was always plenty of food--most of it good, and they certainly kept us hydrated with trays of juice. Free everything: wine, movies, music, etc"
Cons: "There was nothing different that could have been done. We had a 5 hour layover after our flight from Shannon. That was ok because we ate, shopped and generally used the time. But we were 1/1/2 hours late taking off, then had to wait to land because we were out of order for the gates. It turned into a 23 hour day."

Pros: "LOVED the hospitality of the crew, the food was great and they feed you a lot on the flight- my guess is to quell the anxieties of flying over the atlantic LOL. Flight to SFO from London was smooth."
Cons: "The seats are intensely uncomfortable. I upgraded to emergency exit this flight and still no room. Also, would be amazing if there was WiFi (even if for parts of the flight and not the entire flight). 11 hours is a long time to listen to same songs on your ipod lol."

Cons: "We sat on the runway for 3 hours while they fixed a mechanical problem. This is understandable. However, what was not ok was that the last hour to hour and a half, we were delayed because 2 people decided to leave the airplane and staff were looking for their bags. I find it outrageous that BA inconvenienced 400+ passengers for the sake of 2! This should not happen no matter how much they paid for their seats."

Cons: "Lost my wife's reservation for return trip. Thus, lost the extra luggage reservation and payment as well. Seems Aer Lingus failed to input her ticket properly into BA system. That's what BA claimed, anyway. It had been a mystery as to why we could not check in on line so we knew something was wrong. Could not easily pick up phone to correct while in UK. FINALLY, BECAUSE OF LATE CHECKIN, SEATS WERE MIDDLE MIDDLE in a giant airbus jet and quite a bit less desirable than we usually get by checking in early and arriving early. Overall a disappointment, tho we arrived safely and nearly on time."

Cons: "They cancelled our flight and the only reason we flew with them is so that we could fly on an L380. After they booked us on American Airlines, they rescheduled the flight that we really paid for. THEN, when we tried to check in at the airport we found out that BA did not actually book us on American even though they gave us seat assignments. We almost missed our flight home because of their horrible service. Will NEVER fly BA again."
