It was great. The service was excellent and the timing was very good.
Absolutely horrible aircraft with hard open ended wires hanging below the seats which were hurting. No phone charging outlets for a combined 15 hours long haul. Absolutely garbage service!

The boarding was not as organized as what I experienced in Houston. We were able to depart on time and landed in Lagos as scheduled.
The ground crew members at check in counter were courteous. The boarding was seamless. Flight departed as scheduled. Service on board was great
Poor connecting flight logistics and ground transportation for such enormous airport. Airline does not consider time required to complete the security check or transition from one to gate to another
had to wait 1 hour once boarded. so we were 1 hour late arriving.
A lot of snacks and provided on request by traveller. Preferred meals which were on their menu were not always sufficient for those who wanted them. We were told 2 different items and offer which we asked for were not offered initially. We rejected the 3rd item given as a substitute for our initial choices which we didn't want and so we didn't accept it. Eventually our initial choice was offered. During service of coffee and tea, the crew member didn't offer us and moved back. Luckily neither of us wanted tea at that time. Crew members must avoid behavior that may be suggestive of discrimination
We had requested a wheel chair assist for my husband who has Parkinson’s. The first seat we came to we got off the plane was staffed by 3 men-one was on his cell phone, one was sleeping and the fellow we spoke with was rude and seemed as if he didn’t care that we had a plane to catch in one hour. A person with a wheel chair came and took us to the center area for wheelchairs. Here we waited for 20-25 minutes while our flight went to “boarding.” Finally a woman came with a cart and we zipped through the airport.
IAH to Istanbul was outstanding across the board. The flight from Istanbul to Male was good, not great.
The homeless eat better than what was served on that plane. Pretzels and ice cream? My last trip to Europe. Everything is small, but the bill.
The crew was very attentive through out the flight. Seats were comfortable, nice flight bag with pillow and blanket. Food was okay, since it was a overnight flight seemed to go by fast.
Airlines should be prohibited from using the seats they get away with.

I like that the flight attendant was very attentive and helpful. The meal menu could have more of an variety of food choices.
The seats are too uncomfortable for anyone over 5ft 8in. I'm 5'10" with a back and hip issue and I was in pai for the full duration of the flight.
One day, I do so hope for a gluten free snack! Seems like with the rest of the world FINALLY figuring out what gluten free is, American Airlines would too. Fingers crossed!!
Flight was delayed for 2 hours, then last minute the change to on time. The satélite location is far and a nightmare to get to.
