I usually have difficulty sleeping but the isolation from aisle traffic and ambient noise reduction was enough to allow some very good sleep. I apologise for seeming so harsh as I know you've had so much trouble because of the tornadoes, but this leg of my trip cost me an additional $800.00 plus AUD and I was here in the US to care for my father who recently had a 2nd heart attack and my final days in USA were meant to be a holiday, and all I can say is the stress because these expenses have removed any enjoyment (I know I'm looking at this half empty, not half full). Strange. They were only gold stays and I'm only Platinum and didn't complain once. Oh well, that's delta, we all deal with their silence when we post anything that is unfair."

Cons: "This airline charges for everything, and after you pay once, they try to charge you again, and again, and again (four different people tried to charge me 4 different times for my two checked bags). And they lost the record of my payment, so I had to show 4 times the Amex receipt showing that I had paid before. It took 45 minutes and 4 non receptive agents for me to get my luggage checked. British Airways is significantly better."

Cons: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. Without that tickets we can not claim the bags. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

It was left behind in Paris on our way to Casablanca causing us to waste a day in Casablanca traveling back to the airport the grab the bag the next day. And to add injury to insult her bag was left behind in JFK during our transfer for our flight to Seattle. No big deal right, Delta will deliver the bag to our house the next day, wrong, we were told we have to go to the airport ourselves to get the bag."

We were all trapped on board for about 4 or so hours without much communication from the crew or captain which made me very anxious. We arrived 5 hrs late and it put my whole trip in jeopardy. Based on this experience, I eont be inclined to use this airline again for future trip planning. This airline will need to work hard to earn my trust back because i felt physically and emotionally unsafe throughout the experience, many times."

Cons: "BA pulled a fast one on the passengers by first gradually increasing the projected delay, up to 3.5 hours, and then last minute changing the flight status from "delayed by 3.5 hours" to "on time, gate open". They did this without making any announcements on the loudspeaker, or sending any notifications to the passengers. Whoever didn't see the status change on a screen would have missed the flight. The crew must have recognized this (after half of the plane didn't show up), and just decided to wait some more, so our "on time" flight was eventually delayed by 1.5 hours only because the airline couldn't shepherd the passengers together when they were ready to leave."

Cons: "definitely a significant downgrade from my first flight from dallas to london. this flight from london to bangalore was outdated, with old entertainment systems, no usb connection, no snacks available. also we were shuttled from the boarding area on a crowded bus to the plan and had to climb several stairs with our heavy handbaggage up to enter the plane. crew was ok, nothing special. i've traveled british airways quite a few times from the USA via London to India and always notice the downgrade on the flight to India."

Cons: "Poor food, and very little of it is given. poorly run airline. Too many unnecessary rules that don't apply to any other airlines that they claim to be in the name of security. Will not fly again."

Understand that temperature can only be reduced in small increments but why was the temperature on board allowed to get to 42 degrees prior to boarding?? The crew were brilliant, and hats off to them for working in such difficult conditions."

That's insane. We had to wait forever to get the bags checked in and make it back to the gate. We didn't feel like valued customers and never going to fly British Airways again."

Cons: "The service wasn't very good. We had to walk to the galley for drinks mid-flight."

Paid for seat even when I checked in 24 hours before the flight no airline charges a fee once it's check in time for a regular seat and luggage was also more expensive at $45 usually $25. I also arrived early and wanted to get on the earlier flight where here was room but they did not accommodate for free would have been $500 more"

Everything had the air of not being organized, we had to change our seats twice without knowing, why. Really poor food compared to any other airline I know. One of the stewards constantly spilled drops of beverages over me, when he was pouring them for me and the passengers around."

Pros: "Several little things meant a lot: 1. The bathrooms stayed fairly clean on a 9+ hour flight. 2. LOTS of entertainment options. 3. Flight attendants seemed genuinely kind and helpful in addition to being professional. 4. Meals were not completely horrible."

The return flight, 10 days later, also had problems with the IFE"

She argued about throwing away a drink that she poured, didn’t care to explain things to passengers when asked i. e. why charging outlets were not in service, and her tone was rude ..."

Which resulted in me being called to the desk at the gate about 30 minutes prior to boarding and being told I screwed up checking my bag when I was just following the instructions given to me. Was then told I had to leave the secure area of the airport, go back to the front to check my bag all within 30 minutes of boarding. when I returned thru the TSA checkpoint they were rude, obviously, but more importantly the flight was boarding early. So you could've 1. told me what the actual procedure is for checking my bag instead of telling me "just leave it by the green lit up check mark then 2. told me at the gate that not only do i need to go fix your mistakes for you but that youd also board my flight early thereby putting me in jeopardy of missing my flight. all i got was a very insincere apology when I complained up front and at the gate about the airline's screw up. i get that you're all human like me and make mistakes but the customer is always right. there was a time in this country when customer appreciation and service were important standards and qualities businesses thrived on. Don't know what happened to those days... Also i should not need to be a first class passenger to get a meal during a flight. whatever happened to meals for everyone? you (all airlines in the US) charge way too much money and provide poor service compared to pre-9-11 days. I dont see how one event can justify the loss in service but the increase in ticket price. you should all get back to what flying should be about: fun and time saving."

Cons: "Think it is ridiculous that I had to pay so much to select a seat ahead of time, and it was just a regular seat. I can understand for extra legroom or exit row, but for a regular seat, that is ridiculous. Then there was a fee to change priority boarding, so I could ensure I was able to have my carry-on with me, instead of risk having it go underneath. Unable to use the entertainment, as I was unaware had to use my own device, which I had not set up in advance."

Pros: "I liked the fact I eventually ended up in Dallas - that's about the only thing I liked about this flight."
Cons: "Inconsistent service - some customers got cans, some got just a cup with a lot of ice and drink. FAs were uninterested when the drink I wanted was not available. Flight was delayed by a maintenance issue. Overall, a terrible experience."

Pros: "The staff tried to help as much as possible."
Cons: "I called American Airlines as ssoon as I book my trip to set up and make sure my small dog could fly with me. They neglected to inform me their partner, jetstar, does not fly animals. My luggage did not arrive with me. Both of my suitcases were mangled and broken. Items in my suitcases were shattered and crushed even though they were well packed and protected. We got stuck on the terminal in MSP and missed our connecting flight. When we finally arrived the systems were down and could not get new flights or hotels. We were told we could not get hotels and had to argue for an hour. Even though it was a maintenance issue. I arrived a day late and had to take extra leave. The plane from LAX to Tokyo was horrific. I booked a window seat, was stuck in the very middle. There was no way to charge outlets devices. The screen did not work. And my new luggage was also damaged with even more items destroyed."

Cons: "They didn't give my parents who are in their 80s seats together, that's not right."

Pros: "Friendly and prompt service."

Cons: "The wheel chair assistance that was requested for the passenger was not provided in Dallas and London."

Pros: "I was in a regular seat, but had more leg room than other airlines I've flown recently. I always put my bacpack and purse under the seat in front of me. On JetBlue and Frontier, I have to pull out the back pack during the flight to stretch my legs out, but not on either of these flights. This survey rates entertainment, but there was none. For me that's a great thing (I bring my own), so None gets the 5-star rating for my purposes. Uneventful flights--on time even with a short delay taking off out of MSP."
