Reason: There are two queues 1 For people who did a web checkin 2 people who didn’t do a web checkin The Qatar staff at Hyderabad experienced a technical glitch because their only system failed and there was no backup option. There was no apology from any of the staff. No one values the time of the people who chose Qatar making it a very bad experience overall"

Initially charged $1000 for 3 tickets for modification of return trip - confirmed the same and tickets issued (i'm fine with this). But, after i made arrangements for new date, I got a call saying calculation error and asked to pay another $500 leaving me no choices. How can such a reputed airline have no tools to calculate the pay? Other airlines offered one-way for half of the price i paid. On top of it, online helpdek promised front line seat to satisfy me but nothing was offered even if i ask explicitly. Simply declined saying i am not in priority list. Why do they make false promises? Friends, Just don't fly for food ....."

This flight, the films are a bit better but still not the most recently films are on offer. Nobu's seafood soup noodles was the best!"

Cons: "I have travelled fro hyderabad to miami,i had a bad experience at hyderabad air port at qatar counter for baggage Please baggage standards should be unique across all airports travelling from miami they accepted the laptop bag plus 7kg small trolley cabin luggage In retun journey qatar pople said laptop and small trolly bag should be of 7kg .my laptop itself 6kgs is there and they charged me 65usd as excess luggage. I said iwas not charged extra at miami why you are charging extra here ,they said rules are different at miami but in hyderabad this is the case I am very much frustrated on this service ,atleast once in a year i will travell on qatar from next time i never prefer to travel on this carrier. I also liked the content shown on the screens as they juggled my ken a bit! Food was to taste despite the cabin pressure! The cabin crew were just amazing!"

Cons: "Tried to book baggage and seats online for flight from Colombo to Sharjah but website wasn't working, so called their office in Colombo. Was told it was too late to book baggage so would have to pay more than double the regular charge. I explained repeatedly that I had tried to book it but the website was down but the lady on the phone completely ignored what I was saying. She then said I should have called them to report the problem - insinuating that it was somehow my fault that their website wasn't working. Quite an interesting twist on 'customer service' in a service industry company. Nothing in the email I received from them stated what to do should their waist fail; no number to call, no procedure, nothing. I had to take a 1-hour trip into the city to speak to them directly at their office. The lady there I spoke with simply made a few mouse clicks and the problem was solved. This of course begs the question of why that couldn't have been done over the phone. The lady on the phone put me on hold for over 10 minutes, clearly hoping that I would give up and hang up. Air Arabia should fire this person immediately as she has no business being in the customer service industry if she is going to be so insulting to a paying customer. As a member of the company she sheds a horrible and unprofessional light on it."
