Cons: "My flight was only for refugees and was delayed by 8 hours, however airport staff did not have it on their manifest, and Ethiopian never informed me of status. I just sat in the airport all night until I eventually got frustrated and went home. The airline had no idea I was in the airport and no Ethiopian staff were present to speak with. When I and my family called Ethiopian, they hung up on us, at least 6 times. This was my worst experience ever and I will never fly Ethiopian airlines again."

One told me they were looking for blankets and will get me one when found. They were all so busy with food matters. To my utmost surprise after several hours when they were done with food matters blankets began floating around in their numbers. I was really really sad"

Cons: "Boarding from the front and back of the plane is a terrible idea, especially when the gate agents allow most of the aircraft to board at the same time. Also, on flights longer than three hours, they should use a plane with more entertainment (bigger plane). It was cramped and uncomfortable both legs."

The flight was supposed to be 9 hours, but we left late and it was 11+ hours. I understand things happen, but the crew gave no explanation for the delay or elongated flight. Last, but not least, when we landed in Newark we waited 2 hours for our luggage to come out. We landed at 9:50pm and didn't receive our baggage until 11:50pm. My friend and I were not even the last to get our bags. Overall this was the worst flight experience I've ever had."

Had our luggage not been unloaded, as expected, we would have a bit more freedom to move about. My luggage tickets had come off so I had to re-check in in. They then gave me the wrong labels saying i had to check in at internationals. This caused terrible chaos and they did not seem to understand when I tried to explain that going from Bangalore to vasco de gama was domestic. Other than that a pleasant journey."

In my case I had some extra weight in my bags since I was carrying my work laptop and personal laptop with me. They didn't let me board until I talk to Manager. I wanted to file a complaint regarding it. Both my checking bags had less then 23Kg. No one at the checking told me to weigh my carryon bags. If they would have told me at that time I could have transferred my stuff. This was first and last time I was flying from Air India. I will tell all my friends and family members not to fly with Air India. TV monitor was not working in my whole flight. Even the next seat passenger had the same issues. The travelers were horrible as well. Many passengers were just not behaving well. Left toilet papers all over the floor. Toilet room was poorly maintained. No napkin towels to wipe our hands! Flimsy napkin (if you can call that!) for dinner. Generally, the worst flight experience that my wife and I have had! And, we fly a lot around the world!"
