Pros: "There’s a reason Qatar Airline is one of the top 10 airlines! Other airlines feed you pretzels and charge you for a blanket. Qatar feeds you numerous times throughout the flight and everything is as great as travel today can be."

Pros: "We received friendly attitudes with lots of soft drinks. Upstairs in the airbus was good as my seat was near the emergency door, where I had room for my long legs. I was given aisle seats on both return flights so I could move about more. The meals were lovely. The airbus was good for peace & quiet from crying children."
Cons: "I had left an expensive style of neck/travel pillow i left in my Perth rental car but wasn’t supported to pick it up. I had to arrange for the car rental firm to post it. We had over 3/4 hr to fly. We were boarding. It’s a shame there wasn’t a quick way of getting my pillow to me without customs bureaucracy. It was a simple mistake. A toilet was blocked and temporarily unavailable. Some passengers were taking a long time and queues were building at different times."

Tight connection and first flight was late, so we got bumped off our connection (they literally removed our names from the flight, even though we could've sprinted through the airport and made it if they waived the 20 minute before departure gate closure). It was an exhausting and long wait for the next flight and I did not think it was well-handled. Staying in a hotel is not a great option, because it takes 2 hours to get out of the airport, another 2 hours cushion to get back in time."

Pros: "I had never heard of Qatar Airways before I booked a 24hr flight to and from Sydney, Australia. I only did this on the suggestion from a friend that stated Qatar Airways was "alright". So for the price I thought what the heck! I was extremely pleased with the service from the cabin crew. They are always polite, professional, and well trained compared to my previous favorites Delta and Lufthansa. The seats were comfortable (as comfortable as Economy and 24hours of flying can be), the entertainment and aircraft were state of the art, and the food was outstanding for airline food. If I get the chance in the future I will definitely choose Qatar Airways for long trips."
Cons: "Other rude or snotty passengers taking up the crews time and attention for no reason. But as I stated in the "positive" side of this review, the crew handled these impolite individuals with a smile and polite attitude. Kudos to Qatar Airways."

It would have been nice if I was informed as soon as I landed so I did not have to wait for an hour unnecessarily. And the paperwork to report the missing baggage was totally Chaotic. Whoever barged to the counter and was aggressive got priority and taking down the details and giving us a receipt. This is probably my 5 or 6 flight in Qatar and it seems that you guys are slipping up as Emirates had done. Hope you don't."

Cons: "When I checked my two bags, I was told to pick them up in Doha and recheck them to my final destination at Rwanda. When I arrived in Doha I was told by the transfer desk that I did not need to pick up my bags because they had been checked to my final destination. I even asked them to pull up my flight information and to confirm that, which they did. However, when I arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, my bags were no where to be found. No one has found them yet. I also called Qatar Air before my flight and asked about hotel accommodations for my layover because my layover was from 6:00 pm to 7 am. When I called, I was told that I would be given a complimentary hotel room because of the length of the layover. However, when I arrived I was told that I did not qualify for the hotel accommodation. Then, I was told that a hotel room would cost 250. When i arrived at the hotel, I was told the cheapest was 325."

Pros: "The personnel were at the CAI Airport and in the plae were just wonderful. I hope i will have the same experience the second leg if the trip from DOH to DFW"

Cons: "Suggestion: I think it is better if all the children and their parents/ care takers are provided priority seats in front. This will reduce unnecessary annoyance caused to other passengers on long flights and at the same time enhance the experience of the children and their care takers if special attention can be devoted to them."

Cons: "Kayak/priceline re-booked my flight for my sister and I from SAA to BA, but failed to completely reissue us tickets. When we checked in for the flight, we had no ticket for the first leg of the flight, but we had tickets for the remaining flights. We immediately called to fix this problem, but due to slow customer service, we weren't issued tickets in time and the flight left without us. We missed all remaining connecting flights and were forced to buy New tickets. Now we have to work with kayak/priceline to get all my money back due to their error. We came back a day later than expected and missed going back to work."

When I sat down it was impossible for me to sit without my knees jammed against the seat in front of me. I also have trouble sleeping on flights and thought there would be the opportunity to watch TV/movies but this was not the case unless you wanted to pay extra. Most international flights already have this built in for free and should be included in the cost. What a disappointment flying on American was. I will take LAN or Copa from now on as my other options."

I missed my flight because even though I got to LAX two hours before the flight, I had to wait on the baggage check for two and a half hours. The attendants were texting and talking and not servicing the passengers. When I told American attendants and supervisors that I was going to miss my flight unless they got me through they were clueless and didn't care about me or any of the passengers. The entire American staff were the most disorganized and careless flight personnel I have ever seen. Them they put me on a standby flight, where I was number eight and five minutes later was number eighteen, so I missed that, too. My wife is one of the top Public Relations people in Los Angeles and we both have tweeted and posted on social media extensively about this horrendous experience. I require a full refund from American Airlines for my airfare, and if I don't receive it from you will take you to court. --Eric Red"

They said that the TV issue that *some* of the people were experiencing wasn't able to be fixed by them and only by the company that provides it's service. So there wasn't anything that could be done. I know that at least the two guys that were traveling next to me had issues with the tv monitors as well. It was just driving it home that I will never fly on American Airlines again. I don't ask for much these days while flying, it's not like it's a luxury anymore. Pros: "For the first time I did not fly on a puddle jumper. Not only was it a real jet, it had good seat comfort and leg room even in economy class. The crew was friendly and attentive. They came by with offerings of water at least 4 times for a 2+ hour flight. Contrast that with my last two 5 hour flights on Virgin and American where they came by with water — ONCE. WiFi wasn’t working for either flight and of course the lack of decent food is discouraging. The coffee has improved which is a plus. Overall, good job, United! Nice not to be jammed in like sardines for once."

If the flight is late you stand a very good chance of missing your connection, as I’m betting happened to over half the passengers on this flight. I was the lucky exception — this aircraft was actually the connecting flight too. Why can’t all United connections be in the same terminal? It makes no sense."

Staff almost never smiled, and when boarding the plane instead of a, "hello" or "good morning", there were two attendants staring at their phones. They looked up when I greeted first, but seemed put off a touch. They also switched the seating without telling us ahead of time, so my husband and I had to sit in middle seats, apart from each other on our anniversary trip. Very unhelpful and unfriendly when I inquired to change."

However, it wasn't until I got home that it was obvious someone had rifled through my suitcase. Everything was a mess. I'm very disappointed and will hesitate to fly United in the future."

Pros: "Old aircraft, but it had the old more comfortable seats. Flight attendant was very nice."
Cons: "My 1.5 hr round trip ticket was $1000. No wifi. Snack mix was a mixture of pretzels and dried garbage. Stick with just pretzels United."

Cons: "The fact that a 3.5 hour flight to MEXICO didn't have tequila or mexican beers. c'mon. Really? The food choices were just a joke."

Cons: "Will never fly United again if I can help it. Friday afternoon out of CLT was cancelled and rescheduled for Sat afternoon, we had a Friday night wedding and had to get to Chicago. Agents were completely unhelpful over the phone, went to the airport agents at ticketing counter were also unhelpful and threw up their hands like there was nothing they could do to help us. Finally had to switch to Delta and got to Chicago at 1AM EST, missed the wedding."

Cons: "I did not like waking up super early in the morning only to sit at airport for 3 hours because an escape hatch leaked and got the radios wet. only to have the nearest tech over an hour away. and for him to not be able to do anything but let it dry out. Then the flight attendants did not even do a beverage service."

Cons: "Charged me $ 100 for my second piece of luggage. Firs for me on an international flight. Was not clearly mentioned when I purchased ticket. Dated planes Cramped"
