Cons: "Since it is our Airlines priority should have been given to its passengers. Flight was awfully delayed thereby wasting more than half a day. Return flight was worse. We landed at 1.30 pm and luggage was not in the belt it was supposed to be as announced . It’s a shame that we had to endure sleepless nights and miserable time in the airport. Swore never to travel by AirIndia again."

Cons: "There is a lot of difference between flights experience from San Francisco to Delhi and Delhi, India to San Francisco. India to San Francisco was little better. Service was very poor. Food was not on time and quality and quantity was poor. Get your own stuff to save yourself from starving."

Cons: "The 777 Dreamliner did not have functioning window shades. Airline check-in counter staff were trainees and did not understand Visa requirements to and out of India. The check-in counter was open to passengers that had lined up but not manned. . It made the check-in process slow and tedious."

And extremely small quantity There was no entertainment but that’s fine on a 2 hour domestic flight Flight staff did know fluent english Landing was the second worst landing I’ve levee experiences. Only Aeroflot is worse"

Pros: "As I boarded Air India New Delhi to San Francisco, I felt it like a "senior citizen " flight. Most of my time went into connecting with elderly people around. Most of them were first time travelers. Curious ,anxious , innocent and slow learners ; I enjoyed helping them out with tinny tiny tech bits. The collection of Indian music , movies was good to , suiting to Indian taste ! And the food was good !"
Cons: "Boarding the Air India New Delhi to San Francisco was one of the most adventurous experience for me! The Mumbai - New Delhi journey was short and sweet ! As the connecting time was around 2 hrs , I had to rush to board the next flight. The connecting bus to the airport made me wait for a long time and I reached the gate quite late after the boarding was over! And after all this drama where I rushed and ran through ,crossing the domestic airport ; there was a long queue for general security check. I ran to the immigration , rushed through the security check. And finally reached the gate. I forgot , I am pregnant ! I was told there , I will have to shift to another seat due to "emergency" exchange reason ! Oh gosh ! I felt , I deserve a round of applause for making it there and I was offered an exchange ! It's unbelievable, but the flight got delayed by 3 hours! Yes, you read it right , by three hours ! The crew members were not that prompt and welcoming ! The flight toilets weren't sufficiently equipped with the necessities. They was no hot water flowing through many taps, seat-covers were missing, even the basic toiletries were."

Cons: "The problem was the times printed on our itinerary was wrong. Nepal is 15 minutes different from Delhi and Delhi is 30 min diy from rest of world. Go figure. So we ended up with tight connections even though out itinerary did not show that."

Cons: "Baggage handling! The baggage was damaged beyond repair and still the procedure calls for getting a formal quote for repair! If they are asking for a quote in the US, they might as well have a recommendation on the shop where repair or a formal quote can get done!"

Finally they gave me a headset from business class which worked. food was a disappointment. Staff was nice to me but rude to many others. One announced - "don't you understand English! Sit down""

Pros: "They send me last minuite 4 hour delay from Amritsar while I was sleeping. I couldn't get the connection to Varanasi.I had to cancel the trip. But I had to pay hotel charge I think it is very unfair"

Cons: "I booked in my ticket in advance to have seats for my wife & my mom together as they were travelling with an infant. I also confirmed by calling Air India customer care. But once we went to take our boarding passes, we were surprised that customer care representative put different seats. I had repeatedly asked the guy who was charging for extra seat and he confirmed 17D & 17E, but it was 17 & 27. Whole purpose of paying more was defeated."

Cons: "Not a single lady attendant to help us. when my 2 year old threw up the male attendant asked me what help you want in a very arrogant manner. Just gave a bunch of tissues and went. Our entertainment systems weren't working for all 3 of us :( Food was dead cold."

The planes interior was just horrible dirty, smelled bad and the bathrooms (the entire plane I'd in need of some serious cleaning & with bleach) Food...was just disgusting! Bread & cheese sandwich should NEVER be given as an option....the airline ticket cost too much for that poor selection. Fumigation of a plane with people Onboard? If this is a must, please give notice & provide a face mask for your customers"

(3) Aircraft "BIHAR" air condition was not working back of the plane on my flight from Chicago to New Delhi."
